Thank God that I've met this generous person,when I worked at Barajas Airport in Madrid at the information when he arrived as a normal passenger from London. He came to and asked me about his connecting flight to the US. I greeted him politely and showed him my greatest respect concerning his work with Deep Purple and as a solo artist. I told him that I'm huge fan of classical music which brought me to DP when I was a teenager. He was very happy to hear that from me. It was a big impact to me.
What a wonderful piece of music, well in the tradition of the Concerto for Group and Orchestra. For sure, Jon Lord was one of the keyboard grands in 1970ies rock music, along with Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman.
What a privilege to live in a time when we can enjoy the great music of Jon Lord. Rest in Peace, dear Jon, and thank you for all you did for us. May your legacy be kept forever and may you walk between our musical geniuses from Johann Sebastian Bach to modern times.

Tears in his eyes and a big pain when I listen to this phenomenal work of a master, Sir Jon Lord. God was merciful to us when we sent down to earth this genius.
He was a wizard of harmonies, rhythm and sound: normal musicians fight against complex structures, he has an attraction to it, he had a gift to simply integrate Bach-Style, some Haydn ideas, rock rifs. I think he didn’t have to think about it to long, otherwise he wouldn’t have had the time being so productive. Thanks Lord that your borrowed us Jon Lord on earth ❤
It’s we never saw JL florish into the composer he was so clearly ment to be. His works such the piano concerto and the Durham concert the flute suite were great indicators about what could have been. RIP great JL❤🙏🏻
