Please check out more by this band because Sokoninaru are INSANITY! I'm a bassist and even though Misaki plays totally differently from myself she in a way became a bass idol for me the day I found out about them!
After Band-Maid and Nemophila, Sokoninaru is my favorite Japanese band. Band was formed in Osaka in 2011. Drummer is not an official member. The name "Soko ni naru" doesn’t have a particular meaning but it contains the word "naru" (Japanese: 鳴る, meaning: to sound). Misaki is the best singer among bassists. The band also still often record incredibly good covers that sometimes surpass the original songs. I recommend cover from LUNA SEA - ROSIER ua-cam.com/video/n6pk9Ec2V3o/v-deo.html He started out as a copy-band of the Japanese band "Ling Tosite Sigure". A phenomenal band that is more of a progressive rock and post-hardcore genre, but of course math-rock as well. To meet Ling Tosite Sigure I recommend, "Telecastic fake show" ua-cam.com/video/lqYCMxhgeSU/v-deo.html
I just saw that you were doing a reaction for "TK from 凛 と し て 時 雨 - unravel / THE FIRST TAKE". "凛 と し て 時 雨" means "Ling Tosite Sigure" and TK is the leader of this band, so you probably have an idea of what level this band is at.
Juko's guitar is a Momose Jazzmaster. Momose is a Japanese premium brand whose instruments are handmade and fully customizable. Misaki's bass is a Mayones Jabba Classic 4. Mayones is Polish brand and all their instruments are also handmade. I noticed that Shiyu was playing with Pearl drums and Sabian cymbals. Juko and Misaki also have a huge pedalboard. You can see that in their UA-cam channel where they show all their equipment and how to play their songs. Amazing band
This is a two-piece band (guitar and bass). That awesome drummer is a support member. This is insanely technical awesome band and is my #3 fav band. "Vermisst", "Re:program", or "Lament moment" next, please! You also reacted to Nemophila (my #4 fav band) and liked them a lot, so I think you guys are ready for Band-Maid (my #1 fav band). Please check out Band-Maid's live videos like "Domination", "Play", "Choose Me", or "Real Existence"! For Nemophila, "Oiran", "Raitei", or "Monsters" will be good. Their cover song videos are also super good, too. For Hanabie, please check their cover song video "Odo". Have a happy Japanese band journey!
SOKONINARU are fantastic 👍👍 for another Japanese band similar eclectic transitions but WAY PUNK , you gotta listen to “maximum the hormone “. Prepare to be blown away.
I thought this was all studio editing until I watched her video of a playthrough of this song... watching that you could see all the little timing ...."tricks"...that she uses....Live it's just as good , of course not as clean, but I'll be damned if they don't actually pull this off...it's amazing....almost freakish....love 'em. There was a three piece that preceded them by a few years that these guys do covers of...you can see what their inspiration is/was....I forgot their name..I'll have to go look it up and come back with a link...brb Ahhh...transliteration betrays me...the anme of the band is Ling Tosite Sigure (Rin Toshite Shigure) - Check out 凛として時雨『Telecastic fake show』- ua-cam.com/video/lqYCMxhgeSU/v-deo.html
Sokoninaru is definitely one of my favorite japanese band. You're never ready with their unpredictable transitions and their amazing skills. If you like three piece bands you have to check out the japanese trio ASTERISM. One of their new song called "Stars" is so good ua-cam.com/video/mShQV3Biiw0/v-deo.html Thank you
Love this band, and they don't get a lot of reactors, so it's great that you picked this. They are sort of a cross between math rock and prog metal. So, if you want to see the other top-tier 3-piece, you have to see Asterism. Completely different vibe, more like Cream/Hendrix heavy but without vocals. Best clips to start with are: “Rising Moon” (their first professional MV): ua-cam.com/video/IfxMi0Bx4x0/v-deo.html “Blaze” (Live): ua-cam.com/video/51Pxkp8lGAs/v-deo.html “Light in the Darkness” (Live): ua-cam.com/video/QpxNcZoNjVU/v-deo.html “Yunagi” (Studio live): ua-cam.com/video/8Kjntjpnn7U/v-deo.html “Dawn” (Live): ua-cam.com/video/buQPvINJcA0/v-deo.html You should save this last one until you've done a couple of others, because you need to be ready for it.
Love your reaction! Other old reaction guy simply couldn’t accept it cz of his old fashioned idea😂 Though I’m over 50yo I love the new creative music ❤ Love their stops and speed
Except for maybe a number in the lower tens, every Japanese Hard Rock/Metal band is an "underground" band ;) What I mean with underground in this case is "not commercially successful" or "able to regularly sell out four or even high three digit (>800) capacity venues". Japan has some of the most talented musicians in the world and basically nobody cares or even knows about it domestically. It's "a bit" sad, especially when you look at/listen to what's actually successful.
Sorry guys, I know I'm obviously old, but I laughed out loud when you named 3-piece bands and went with Blink and GD. Meanwhile, RUSH says, here hold my beer. Band was around for fucking 40+ years and still at the top of their game well into their 60s, with perhaps the most influential rock drummer of the past 50 years. RIP Neil Peart. He's your drummers favorite drummer.
'Punk has evolved'?! Check out Otoboke Beaver, ua-cam.com/video/fkWfFXnLpYg/v-deo.html , this Japanese 4 piece is true to tradition, they are PUNK and they are NOW, much like Amyl and the Sniffers.
TAKES ABOUT 6 MONTHS TO GET A WORKING VISA FOR JAPAN. MODELING WOULD BE VERY POSSIBLE. ADVERTIZERS LOVE CAUCASIAN FEATURES. SO A WORKING HOLIDAY WOULD BE POSSIBLE. A YEAR OF JAPANESE LANGUAGE COULD GET YOU AN ENGLISH TEACHING JOB I THINK? A MUSIC SCENE CHANNEL FROM JAPAN VERY POSSIBLE. JUST SAYIN YOU HAVE OPTIONS, YOU GUYS WOULD DO VERY WELL THERE.

It's nice to hear a drummer as a support , cuz there's many technical trained musicians who are finding for a band to join I guess.

ASTERISM!! Another 3 piece Japanese band!!! The guitarist , she’s a BEAST!!🔥🤘
