- Walmart is rolling out a new label, bettergoods, designed to appeal to younger customers looking for gourmet food at more affordable prices. The company says the brand will feature 300 new "chef-inspired" food products with many priced as low as $5. CBS News MoneyWatch associate managing editor Aimee Picchi has more.

Why is CBS doing a free ad advertisement for Walmart? What the heck?
They probably give them perks
CBS running a three-minute-long Walmart ad is Peak Journalism....maybe you guys could run a piece on how this company strangles-the-life out of Canadian small-businesses
America feels you.🤗
And also Walmart struggles the life and kills businesses in the United States
I am sure they are trading favors - discounts for their company in return for a spot
To be honest, is it worth paying a little less when the quality isn’t there? Maybe it’s just my local Walmart but I never buy meat there because it’s inferior. Sometimes the things I buy there I feel are discounted because they’re not good quality but substandard.
If I buy meat at Walmart it's for my dogs!
It's why Aldi is growing so fast. Most of what they sell are their in house brand, so prices are lower.
Aldi is overrated
Now who says this will only appeal to the younger set... and.. that they're the only ones on a limited budget!? I'm 67. Have been eating healthy organic foods since they first started showing up in the 70s and now I'm having to live on a Social Security budget.
Define oxymoron. Walmart gourmet food.
How is this a "News" story ? What has this got to do with journalism ?
This is just a comercial.
F walmart.
Let's be real bro, there are no "journalists" at the leftist CBS "News". And FJB.
Where's the food from?? China!!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yikes !!!!
México
Walmart tried this a decade ago with Wild Oats products.
It’s nice Walmart is trying to be healthier……the issue is I would actually have to ENTER a Walmart….which is NEVER going to happen!! 🤷🏼♂️🤔😎
😂😂 yuh okay ...
Is this applicable in Canada as well, or is it strictly in the USA?
Look it uo on their site!
@@Intrepid-kr5zj no
Thank you for the update.
Was this an ad?
But it's OK for CBS and their Democrat media friends to pretty much endorse everything Joe Biden says?
Its prolly laced with the plastic out of those plastic bag recycle bins out front.
The only thing that I like is the Over the counter items!!! And I get them Free!!! Thank God 🙏🙏🙏. Robert Ketterer
I saw the news!
Don’t buy any food at Walmart. They always have recalls.
man nothing beets a fresh whole broccoli just from the grandma farm field :)
Shukria and thanks madam
So.. lipstick on a pig, it's still great value brand. We all trying to maintain a budget
❤❤❤❤
Yummy, great news!
Just another generic private-label brand. Not a breakthrough for God's sake.
😂🤣😭
SUUURE , this is probably a way to cover that there is a shortage of real food and some things are becoming harder and harder to produce such as dairy products like cheese so they're making plant based cheese.....remember when there was the thing of Beyond Meat being pushed into stores , that was when some meats started to become harder to get and labs started to make vegetable meat.
I’ll Just Get What I Have Been, Nothing New Can Be Good! What’s In It That We Don’t Know About!!!!
bettergoods fake soya food -- hope they not plastic like uniliver.
Its could be good from our wallet i agree but anything from plant's came from woke's green ideologies and no tasting like real food's
I totally refuse to eat any alternatives food's
Just say it folk's by the way
oh honey....no. Ur lab grown recycled trash is not appealing
Yeah and full of chemical.
Chinese chemicals
