In 1981, six years after joining Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks went solo for the first time with her debut album ‘Bella Donna’. A massive success, it sold more than five million copies in the U.S., topped the album charts and produced four hit singles, including her signature anthem, "Edge Of Seventeen." More platinum albums followed - ‘The Wild Heart’ (1983), ‘Rock A Little’ (1985), and ‘The Other Side Of The Mirror’ (1989).
In 2019, Stevie Nicks made history by becoming the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and most recently in recognition of an extraordinary solo career that spans nearly 40 years.

That is the message received in this song, and I am grateful to Stevie for writing it. It helps we who need to move on... do that... move on, for what it's worth....

You've just expressed everything I feel at the moment. As far as love goes, my life has been one loss after another. I'm so tired of feeling like other women have something that makes someone fall in love with them and want to commit for life but with me it has always been "see ya" after the thrill is gone & the new has worn off. I wanted to have love & a family but that dream has all but died. At 43, I feel like I will forever be on the outside, hands & face to the glass, looking in.

A beautiful video. The lyrics are extremely beautiful and personal. .."I look at you and I start to cry.....what you did for me...". Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood had a secret romance during the Mac years. Later Stevie went into rhab for her cocaine addiction. Afterwards (she has stated) she was petrified to sing on stage again; she had never been on stage sober. Mick invited her to just hang out and they rode a bus through the southwest. He restored her confidence. A very touching song.

Years later, friends and family said that Stevie put a spell on me. Several years ago, a shrink said that it was stress from my parents' deaths. I became a soldier and then a writer. Stevie Nicks, I really like this song, you remain 'ageless' just like you sing.
Also (fans) take note: this is Stevie Nick's brother's daughter (Stevie's niece) singing background vocals, she does sound similar to Stevie Nicks.
I bet Stevie is the best aunt , and remember this Stevie, no matter what, you fans love you no matter what, we know you have suffered in life and yet still kept singing and writing and smiling. We thank you from our sincerest hearts for all the memories you are giving us, we grew up with you too. :D

I've loved Stevie's music since i was little and my mom used to play fleetwood in the car to make me sleep, but this song has got to be my favorite and i found it at a time when i really needed that little bit of faith. Love is eternal, and when it falls apart, it takes a piece away and leaves a piece of them with you, and although it hurts a lot, it's a beautiful feeling, knowing that you got to love someone that much.

A beautifully simply video that perfectly matches a beautifully simple song. "For What It's Worth" is not just one of the best songs on her new album - it's one of her best songs, period. It might not jump at you the first time you hear it, but after a couple of times it just becomes... intoxicating. How amazing that Stevie Nicks can still produce such magnificent music after more than four decades in the music business...

Love this video and her amazing energy in it. I had an opportunity to spend some time with her in Florida years ago after a concert in St. Pete and we all went out on a lovely yacht owned by one of the Outback Steakhouse founders. She was an amazing angel and it is so true, she does love her audience. Her magic is so apparent as it shimmers around her.
