thanks, gracias, obrigado.....wonderful work. I have purchased all the parts related to the Akagi and am just getting started. I appreciate all your wisdom and wonderful skills.
Simply beautiful. This is a joy to behold. The time and craftsmanship that went into this shows from stem to stern. Such works make me sad though, that the actual vessels perished in the flames of war. R.I.P.
With these models you can really begin to see how the IJN carriers started out as capital ships that were fitted with a landing strip on top of a hanger on top of a battleship hull.
Amazing Job. Wonderful Ship. A Legend is back in 1/350 Scale. Not long Time ago they found her Wreck and her Sistership the Kaga. General Nagumo was a clever Commander. The Japanese Crews had one great Advantage to the American Crews. The Advantage is called Honor. This is the Real Reason why the Japanese Fleet was so Legendary. If you die with Honor in your Heart, the History will never forget you
The second song that begins although that changes is the one until the end of the vid. It is called Ototakachi no Yamato from the movie Yamato. Highly recommended to watch :-)
I think that The Japanese Aircraft Carriers was The best. From Design,Amour and Speed. The Operation Range was very high. And The Akagi was The Flagship of The Japanese Fleet. After her Sinking The Flagship was The Yamato. Now to The Model. It is Amazing. Very good Job.
Beautiful work. I had a thought about the 2 dimensional men (photo etch). What if you dipped them in a solution of white glue and water and hung them vertically by their heads? It would take some work but if you built up the coats it would give them a more 3 dimensional effect. Then you could use the same mixture to create a 3D head and hang them upside down. I know this is hard to explain in writing. But I think it might work. Even multiple coats of a thicker paint could work. Just a thought. This scale is awesome but the figures seem to take away from the realism.

Beautifull work. The crew though looks like a bit out of scale, propably 1/250 or something arround that. That's just my impression, don't know for sure.
You should have built it showing the gigantic hole created in the flight deck by the 1,000 pounder delivered courtesy of Dick Best. Akagi only took one bomb, and it was enough thanks to all the fully fueled planes and bombs laying around the hanger decks.
Good job, the only complaint is that now I know there is so much work invovled, ain't gonna THINK of buying it even. Especially awesome work on the airplanes. But those human figurines -- meh.
Thank You! Yes! In Brazil it is very difficult to find products for modeling (especially photo etched). The little we have is imported and the taxes are abusive. Sorry about my English.
Operation Midway was a truly stupid and stunning battle. The loss of flagship carriers such as Akagi, Kaga, Soryu, and hiryu, and the loss of many experienced pilots, was a huge loss.
You can recognize Japanese Naval spirit and culture. Back ground music is nice.
Lovely work just absolutely lovely work
This is the first time that I have seen an aircraft carrier model with so many bulkheads! Nice job! 👍.
. . . Great accomplishment! Congratulations on a beautiful demonstration of skill and patience.
absolutely astonished, work put on that model is first rate, I am especially impressed by the aircraft, deck markings and weathering.
Nice aircraft carrier!! 👍
Beautiful build! IJN Akagi is my favourite carrier.
personally my favourite carrier has to be the IJN Taiho
thanks, gracias, obrigado.....wonderful work. I have purchased all the parts related to the Akagi and am just getting started. I appreciate all your wisdom and wonderful skills.
Great work. Stunning! The flight deck looks perfect.

Yeah thanks to the unfair naval treaty they were forced to turn their battlecruisers to carriers
love realism and detail on models. makes me want to go buy a kit. some model companies have surprised me on the interior detail.
Great build. The flight deck looks awesome!

Right, the rape of nankin was honorable. Heck even japanese navy officers decapitate pows on the spot, cause you know, its honorable
Great work!!
You did a great job! Thanks for sharing.
What an amazing amount of work. Beautiful job!If the interior structure is correct, then it looks like Akagi had no watertight bulkheads.
Simply a work of art, very nice kit!
João nota mil bicho!!! Demais a recriação do Porta aviões Japonês!
Amazing video and the music really added!
The second song that begins although that changes is the one until the end of the vid. It is called Ototakachi no Yamato from the movie Yamato. Highly recommended to watch :-)

That's true
eins zwei true but, their aircraft storage system was bad. so that aircrafts couldn't take off quickly. But I think the design was wonderful!
No the flag ship is nagato .The one that eat a atomic bomb.
eins zwei I agree
eins zwei IJN carrier design was by no means the best
Very nicely done! Aircraft carriers are particularly trying kits due to the many tiny airplanes. Bravo.
You sir, are an artist. Thank you for making this video.
Nice work man...VERY VERY high quality model and work!

Akagi huh... The only anime i've seen this ship in was Strike Witches...
@Loli4lyf I think he meant Kancolle, because Azur Lane wasn't a big thing back in 2014
@Loli4lyf 2017? I thought it was relased in 2018
@@fongkei523 2018? I thought it was released in 2019?
Dragonmaster 61 azur lane and kancolle, don’t forget
Buying a japanese ww2 aircraft carrier is like a country buying an aircraft carrier. Very expensive! I already bought the planes.

I only can say - great (vom Feinsten) - regards from Germany
Nice kit.
Very Nice!
Beautiful work. Inspiring
The Akagi was built from a battlecruiser hull
Kaga was built from a battleship hull. FYI and was therefore slower
Beautifull work. The crew though looks like a bit out of scale, propably 1/250 or something arround that. That's just my impression, don't know for sure.
wow same here....
The crew and the plane are so big. It is not suitable with the carrier.
3 mêses (three months).
Thank You!

Well to answer that
They already did it just different companys
Akagi by hasegawa
Kaga, souryu, hiryu by fujimi
All in 1/350 scale
@@doquoctruongsa what of Shokaku and Zuikaku?
Also zuikaku anh shokaku by fujimi
There were 6 carriers on nagumo's strike force....
Akagi, kaga, hiryu, soryu, shokaku, and zuikakku....
@@patrickcannady2066 yeah..... There were 6 of them on nagumo 's strike force
Muito bom !👍
Together with its photoetched detail sets this is with more than 700 euro the most expensive model ship kit in Germany.
Like the rusting affect

isso é arte !!!!! show !!!!
Really nice ship.

i think Japan nowadays is more than capable of building aircraft carriers like during the IJN days
Good job, the only complaint is that now I know there is so much work invovled, ain't gonna THINK of buying it even.
