Hi! Love your videos! You mentioned in a previous video how you taught yourself how to change your smile. And, more specifically, how you taught yourself to talk with a pout. Can you talk more about that? When I talk, the muscles around my mouth turn down. Sometimes I think I look like I’m unhappy when I talk even though I’m saying something positive. lol I have been googling how to do this and have not found any resources on how to train my mouth to move differently when I talk. Thank you!

While practising in front of the mirror, you could also try feel confident simultaneously, e.g. thinking of a circumstance where you have the advantage or a little bit of power upon people. What are good at? Better than other people? Have you considered helping weak people regurarly? That would make you feel more responsible, in charge and efficient in simple things of every day life. It definitely makes you feel better about yourself when lifting heavy stuff or carrying heavy bags for... lets say elderly people. Capture that feeling on that moment. Or even capture your face with a photo. You ll see. It's less difficult than you actually think. Confidence is an instinct. Like other instincts it's universal. Climbing up the social hierarchy, in small doses every day, like exercising leadership (helping elderly people etc), helps you build confidence much more easily and naturally, without feeling stupid or creepy in front of a mirror. But mirror practise also helps ofcourse.

Been already kinda doing this thru the years, as I noticed we look more angry, tired, aged, when we relax our face too much and have no expression. But when we lift our face with a positive emotion and smile with our eyes and whole face, without really smiling with our mouth, it lifts our whole face up. But I find your tips here interesting and and look forward to watching your other informative videos!

I've actually been doing something similar for quite a few years now. If you want to take killer photos, doing this is absolutely essential. It's like smiling with the eyes not mouth. I could always see the the difference in my photos, but it was actually pretty cool to see you do it in real time. Tyra Banks actually talks about doing this too in that series she had top model. it's what all the celebrities/ models do to look great for pics. She does a similar transition example, but I thought yours looked Even better, I love how you did each part of the face by itself... seriously looks like magic lol. Idk if I was doing the nose thing or not so I'll give that a shot. Great tips though and yes everybody has the ability to do this! just have to give those face muscles a workout!

TIP: to help with the hooded eyes and moving you ear back, you need to move on eyebrow at a time to strengthen those muscles. To do that, hold down one eyebrow with your hand and try to move the other eyebrow up and down by itself. Switch and do the same thing with the other. *This really helped me and I can now move my eyebrows separately*

    • @localloner2965

@GossipGurl2314 I just did it but through biting. Mouth closed, upper and under teeth closed, pressed.
After that I tried to move the back of my cheek bones which feel connected to my ears.
My ears moved but maybe this is not the right way lol. But I do feel I'm doing this with the roof of my mouth near my throat, in the back.
Hard to explain in English but I do feel my ears going up a little and backward. 😁
Obviously many muscles in our face, neck and head are connected.

I’ve been doing this with my face since I was a young girl (especially when I take pix) I just assumed others did it too, but whenever I brought it up to other people they always thought I was crazy lol. I don’t do the “squint” much, (I like to open my eyes kinda wide like a doll). But I always pull my ears back and I engage my temple muscles in order to lift my entire face. Then I gently lift the corners of my mouth until I feel my cheekbones pop. I’m convinced this is why I have such prominent cheekbones) because I’ve literally TRAINED my face on how I want it to look through constant repetition.

Love the upbeat, positive attitude! Yes, this can work so well when done correctly, but if you're just now adopting this, and if you're going through anything extremely sad that may make you depressed, please be sure to practice not overdoing it. When she says "a bit," she literally means, "a bit"! I mean barely, barely, and practice (with your tongue at the roof of your mouth and not the floor) and then, when you think you have it, take that infamous "selfie" to make sure, because sometimes the mirror distorts the truth. Otherwise, you will have that sad, cranky, old look, which is worse than slightly hooded eyes, lol. Very, very slightly "squenching" can work.

I've just realised I'm doing this things subconsciously (except in circumstances when I'm focused on doing something to interesting to care about my appearance ;) ).. one thing I prefer to do differently is 'nose narrowing'.. I've noticed that by widening my nostrils and therefore inhaling more air I instantly feel better.. and somehow I perceive people with wide nostrils as more joyful, like it's easier to laugh from heart and stomach with open nostrils. I absolutely adore wide nostrils 😀also, you are adorable and I love your energy, content and you look absolutely stunning 🥰

Amazing how much she changed just by a few steps! Great tips but sadly I barely managed to do just 1/5 😭 I didn't know a human face was able to move like that. I'm shook 🤯

This was awesome! Apparently it takes a little practice to put them all in motion at the same time. My daughter walked in on me while I was doing them and we both broke out laughing that would have been a great photo. Thank you ! Individually I’ll use these tips for now but I can’t make my ears move haha!
