    Yes, thanks for reminding people that being feminine is not about being weak, but being softer in your mannerisms.

    • @derekg5563
      @derekg5563 Місяць тому

      @vaderladyl: You seem to be implying a false dichotomy, though, of weak and strong. Being feminine could be about being weaker in your mannerisms as well as being softer. It might be that neither being feminine nor being masculine is weak, but that being feminine is being weaker than being masculine would be. In other words, there is a relevant difference between "weak" and "weaker."

    • @vaderladyl
      @vaderladyl Місяць тому

      @@derekg5563 I don't see feminine as being weak, that is the difference.

      @vaderladyl The word "weak" has a negative connotation, which can include when someone interprets "soft" as being weak. My own boyfriend does that, unfortunately. We both met a person. I saw her as gentle. He saw her as "timid". I saw nothing timid in her, yet he interprets gentleness and softness as timidity and weakness. What a shame.....especially in a man.

    • @vaderladyl
      @vaderladyl 12 днів тому

      @@donnaknudson7296 yes I am using it as negative as well in my comment. But soft is a positive attribute that some people twist into a negative.
      Timid is not negative per se but some people might use it wrong, meaning something else, and the recipient might take it as offensive.

    I love your videos! I am a very large person, I am 6 feet tall with curves and muscles and I am always looking for ways to present as feminine as possible without physically trying to shrink myself with bad posture. These are wonderful tips. I try to carry myself always as a maternal, earthy presence, and I find that it eases my way in the world. If you are genuinely kind and friendly, and give people your attention and care because some people go through entire days with no one smiling at them, you will find that the world starts to seem a lot less hostile. Love your tips, Parmita!!!

    A type of gestures that is not very suitable for Italian women, we would never be able to give up enriching the verbal message with personalized and spontaneous, extemporaneous and non-stereotypical movements

    • @donnaknudson7296
      @donnaknudson7296 12 днів тому

      How would that be "non stereotypical"? It's just different. One could even stereotype it as Italian (if one is going to think in stereotypes), although I wouldn't.

    I’m in my 30’s and my family has wrinkles early and I’ve always had a hard time carrying my self in a feminine way . Especially because of I like sports and didn’t have sisters .
    I keep trying to learn but it’s so hard to see all my friends looking good and I trying to get use to the fact that I’m aging … and also losing weight feels like a lost dream.
    I only get male attention from old icky guys
    But also I’ve battled with depression but I am doing better .

    Actually the body language is more important than we think! This shows a man that we are not enemy, we are something special what they attracted ...a Woman! If you use masculin body language, it makes your husband angry in no time,no matter what you say. Body language is way more important than the words you are useing in a conversation. If you ever talk to a man, use her tips!

      Agreed. But it varies from person to person and situation to situation. A female boss during board meeting, a model on ramp and a teenage girl giggling with friends, all needs different body language.

      In my 40's I learned to only cross my legs at the ankles in order to discourage varicose veins. Now, at 75, I have 3 tiny spots on my thighs; 2 on my right leg, 1 on my left leg. And I've mostly eliminated cellulite by doing The Big 6, taught by Perry Nickelston here on UA-cam. My friend reduced her smokers wrinkles by doing The Big 6.

    That was somehow funny
    To be feminin is not a matter of these things, short or long hair, to sit feminin or to talk. I don’t believe in feminin poses or something like that. I will never correcting or changing my poses because that just could be more feminin in other people’s eyes.
    I personally prefer long hair for women.short hairs are definitely masculine. But it has nothing to do with our feelings as a man or woman.

      There are mannerisms that are associated with feminine or masculine energy, that is in the social conscious of people. That is the reality of life. If you want to or don't care to be be perceived as more manly, that is your prerogative. It is like aa gay guy that has feminine mannerisms, he will be perceived as not so manly.

    • @alleycat616
      @alleycat616 7 днів тому

      these are fairly universal truths through the eyes of the majority of people whether you like it agree with it or not. So it just matters whether you’re ok with being perceived this way by others or not.

    Quite useless. All these things won't help you make money and never again depend on men.
    Develop your ambitions and technical skills in technology, management and matial arts. You'll have all you wish on your own 😂.
    Forget men. Be free. Be your secret weapon.
    The only person who'll never betray you is your own self.
