That is gold fellas! Venturing where few dirt bikes would and on 1200's no less! Truly an inspiration to the rest of us when despite the challenges you still come up smiling! Thanks boys!!
douglas jeffers You buy an adv bike that suits you and you won't wipe the smile off you face. It's relatively inexpensive to get into the sport. You can start with a very capable Suzuki DR650.
me too but it was a tiger 800 xc , still saving l:) last thing i want is a bank loan hanging over my head wile out exploring for a few months up N/T W/A
Nice one guys, that was me wearing the 'santa red' outfit on the new Husky TE300. Thought you were nuts riding tanks up that hill but well done making it up & great video!
Great video guys and he lead y'all into the deep harsh terrain memento for smaller lighter bikes and then left what a guy he is but atleast y'all made it and had a good time n you picked up my sub too I love this kind of video especially since thats what I do and enjoy adventure riding
Oh boy did I enjoy that video a lot. Thanks for that. You guys are not afraid of a little break-it-then-mend-it, I guess. I have a 2012 V-Strom 650, which is called an adventure bike, but it's really only a name and I would never dream of trying that course on it. Really enjoyed your video though. I'd like to try something like that, but on a 250cc off-road bike first for a week or..... six weeks, and then perhaps a 600/700 adventure bike. Thanks.
Good on ya you mad bastards.....bloody loved it! Made me laugh on a Sunday afternoon.....also loved seeing the bush where you guys are...I miss the bush of SE Australia....been up in the NT for a long time now!
3:00 - Between a rock and a hard place! Man, those big bikes are a hand full on those rough trails. If I had a BMW, I think I'd stick with the Latte and avoid those particular trails. Maybe something a little more "rim friendly". Great footage!
would love to have any of those bikes but I am most jealous of how awesome the video quality is.Care to share what upload settings and camera you are using?
i know the hill at 2:00 well. when i started riding i looked at it in fear and as unrideable. It's amazing how your perception changes as you get some experience under your belt.
Weird, but looks like the barely 50/50 tires of the big bikes (Should be Metzeler karoo 3) worked really well in these conditions. Anyhow, was nice to see and hear some BMW "bashing" going on :D
CycleCruza me w my R1200GSA upon many times power lifting it. At 150lbs(me), I usually just let the other guys help now. I've proven it to myself that I can lift it. Lol ;)
It really is great and gives me 500 plus ks range. The 690 engine is ideal as an adventure bike. You can see how I can throw it around and then at the end of the day cruise down the highway at 120 ks plus.
Where is this track? I'm looking at getting an Adventure bike soon and was wondering what the popular routes are for adventure riders. I ride past Kulnura to head to Wollombi & The Putty at least once a month and had no idea there were dirt tracks around that area, other than the unsealed road that leads to St Albans.
On that! Never. However smaller adventure bikes are emerging that are a lot of fun. In Australia a company does an adventure build for a Yamaha 250 that looks neat. I hope to test it later in the year.
I love the Karoo's. Had them on Triumph Adventurer we tested. Look for video on this channel. The beemer boys both had them and were impressed. A sensible purchase.
Motorcycle Adventure Dirtbike TV Thanks. These have been available everywhere but Canada it seems. I've had 2 sets on order for 7 months. Keep these great vids coming.
That is gold fellas! Venturing where few dirt bikes would and on 1200's no less! Truly an inspiration to the rest of us when despite the challenges you still come up smiling!
Thanks boys!!
I love sport bikes but damn adventure bikes are winning me over. I wish I could afford one.
douglas jeffers You buy an adv bike that suits you and you won't wipe the smile off you face. It's relatively inexpensive to get into the sport. You can start with a very capable Suzuki DR650.
Motorcycle Adventure Dirtbike TV i just cant make my mine up ,i am only 70kg 187cm tall ,i like my KTM 530 . now time to up grade to
I made the mistake two tears ago of test riding a Super Tenere. I fell in love!
me too but it was a tiger 800 xc , still saving l:) last thing i want is a bank loan hanging over my head wile out exploring for a few months up N/T W/A
I have a Sportbike now and I demoed an 1190 adventure.... Can't wait to pick up that or something very close to it.
The guys on the ADVs have the balls of steel to not turn around when they saw the trail at 1:45
That's hard even on an enduro bike. Respect!
golferchin76 seriously
I knew i was going to like this video even before i watched it. Taking the wrong tool to far away places is what adventure is all about.
As always, done with a smile and a few laughs along the way; thanks for another great video.
Nice one guys, that was me wearing the 'santa red' outfit on the new Husky TE300. Thought you were nuts riding tanks up that hill but well done making it up & great video!
Some of the best big GS riding I've seen. Keep it up guys.
Nice pivot turn on the 690! Good vid, the Beemers did well!
After that I am going to watch all you vlogs. Love your camera angles
Love it ! You guys have guts ! And awesome to show all the nei sayers what a big bike can do if you got the skills and guts !!
Great video guys and he lead y'all into the deep harsh terrain memento for smaller lighter bikes and then left what a guy he is but atleast y'all made it and had a good time n you picked up my sub too I love this kind of video especially since thats what I do and enjoy adventure riding
Edog200 I love this video ... that's the big bikes in off road... good fellowship.
a greeting
Medel
Kudos to these slightly older riders! What an ordeal it must have been! Thanks for sharing!
ahh you guys are the bomb!! I love watching this kind of craziness.....A big wide bike on a trials trail :) you folks are legit!
MrDuhfactor legit is the correct word. Right on guys. No lattes being held up there. ;) Balls and persistence. Awesome.
Oh boy did I enjoy that video a lot.
Thanks for that.
You guys are not afraid of a little break-it-then-mend-it, I guess.

I'd like to try something like that, but on a 250cc off-road bike first for a week or..... six weeks, and then perhaps a 600/700 adventure bike.
Thanks.
Great video! Please upload more videos like this one. Keep up the good work!
Your trip sounds like ours here in Brazil. Using big trails in small tracks is insane!
Really enjoyed this vid. I'd like to see more hardcore off road action with big adventure bikes of all makes.
That 690 with dakar fairings is probably the most unique thing about this vid. It should really be included in the title of the video!
Makes me feel better about dropping my bike off road! Great video thanks guys😃
amazing stuff. really good skills, i could imagine how hard it is to maneuver a 1200cc bike on that trail. Cool vid.
Looks like a great time. I want to ride that Trail!
Aw that look slikle so much fun! I want a beemer to go on an adventure like this.
Fantastic adventure! looking to the trail i thought you were crazy following a 350ktm with the 1200...and also with the 800!!! ;-)
a lot of respect for you guys!!
You lads sure can ride. Good to see bikes being used for purposes other than what they were designed for ;-)
Good on ya you mad bastards.....bloody loved it! Made me laugh on a Sunday afternoon.....also loved seeing the bush where you guys are...I miss the bush of SE Australia....been up in the NT for a long time now!
Bloody funny! Always wondered how the GSAdv would handle this kind of terrain.
Great save at 1:15
wow.. these riders are in a league of their own.. great riding!!
nicely done, very good riding, guys !
3:00 - Between a rock and a hard place! Man, those big bikes are a hand full on those rough trails. If I had a BMW, I think I'd stick with the Latte and avoid those particular trails. Maybe something a little more "rim friendly". Great footage!
Yeah a tough but memorable ride.
Great video. Alex is an incredibly talented GS rider.
Nice job guys! Tough terrain for the BMW's. I love my BMW, But that's KTM's world right there!!
Great stuff, thanks for sharing
That was Fantastic.....I'm going to sit on the couch and rest now. :)
Just madness...pure madness :)

Love seeing people using dual sport bikes for their intended purpose [going anywhere] ;)

pushing those gs 1200 up the hills is skills man!
Looks like a lot of fun!
Got a good laugh watching that, well done.
Great effort Guys👍🏼
Epic! Thanks for sharing!
BALLS OF STEEL.
This does give me the confidence to take my F800GSA a little further than the fire roads though.
+Levon Smith you can even drive Goldwing at fire roads mate =) No need to get GSA for that
Absolutely. I've done it on my R1200GSA for two years. A blast. Just don't do it alone.
hahah a big GS in the woods, sounds like trouble :D Even the 690 struggles. This is light enduro terrirory (EXC 350)
lol thats one way to take a simple track and make it into an adventure!
Awesome riding 👍🏻👍🏻
I was sweating just watching that!
would love to have any of those bikes but I am most jealous of how awesome the video quality is.Care to share what upload settings and camera you are using?
That looked fun! Work, but fun
Awesome video
Gnarly stuff for a dual purpose bike !! Good stuff & fun to watch ! Where are you doing this ride ?
u guys are smart. Nice clutch burning.
Well. how DO you get a Volkswagen up a tight trail?
Great effort guys
Haha, excellent. Love watching the hard stuff
Are you gonna do the same anytime soon? :D
Maybe you should put the Hornet to test again... :)
Yes soon... I have a big road ride this weekend then i will put the knobbies back on. Still waiting for Ausmodica to pick up his 690.
Nerb1 SSssshhhhh!
Ausmodica I saw nothin' :)
Thought it was going to be Nerb1's ride :)
Nice video!
Can the 800's rim be fixed? if so, how? I have a similar problem with my rim.
Nice to the big beemers taking it on. One hell of a workout I'm sure...
very nice video jaja ..congrats

Impressive riding on the BMWs
Nice to do this with a bmw 1200GS its a great bike and if you got the skills, you will get everywhere with this bike.
Which tires on the 1200? Karoo 3?
I love this channel.
Ok which ADV rider ended up with a hernia? lol
CycleCruza me w my R1200GSA upon many times power lifting it. At 150lbs(me), I usually just let the other guys help now. I've proven it to myself that I can lift it. Lol ;)
Older guys pounding !!!! Bravo , well done ! BMW is to clunky to wide and to heavy for this trails !!
I want to see a vid of Dave shredding solo a bit like the Chris Birch vids!!
R E S P E C T. Realy cool man!
I love that 690 Rally kit :D
It really is great and gives me 500 plus ks range. The 690 engine is ideal as an adventure bike. You can see how I can throw it around and then at the end of the day cruise down the highway at 120 ks plus.
Mensch Jörg, da machst Du ja wieder tolle Sachen. wann und wo war das denn?
Gruß
Rüdiger
Oh my, My favourite road side cafe.
that looks like the backend of daniels point road?
KTM Freeride? Looks like a 690 enduro with Rally fairing..
Never mind, Commented too soon :)

Very nice Vid!
Ha! Excellent, loved it!
that big GS 1200 just looks like way to much hard work and terrain as rough as that lol
Garry G those are 800s I believe
Funny! Seemed like a blast!
I would've done this on my DR650, but on these bikes maybe not.
You are either mad, or very keen, good work though.
Wonder how well the KTM rider would cope with a 500 mile day.
On that! Never. However smaller adventure bikes are emerging that are a lot of fun. In Australia a company does an adventure build for a Yamaha 250 that looks neat. I hope to test it later in the year.
Hilarious! Good effort on those trails with such not fit for purpose machines

them dirt bikers were like get out of the way you old fools lol hahaha
Still a lot more fun than the gym
Great clip guys! Showing us all what adventure bikes can do even with the size af a GS Adventure! Well done keep it up. Cheers!
Leg day? how about 1200 in the woods day?
There was a KTM350 Free ride at the very start of the video Chris, but it appears that he took off.
Try dropping the tire pressures?
I am a little late but that's a FUCKING HARD HILL !! good show !!
Love taking my 1200gsa places I have no business being in! If you can do it on the “Rhino” it makes riding a 300 exc child’s play 👊respect boys!
Any chance you could comment on the Karoo 3 tires?
I love the Karoo's. Had them on Triumph Adventurer we tested. Look for video on this channel. The beemer boys both had them and were impressed. A sensible purchase.
Motorcycle Adventure Dirtbike TV
Thanks. These have been available everywhere but Canada it seems. I've had 2 sets on order for 7 months.
Keep these great vids coming.
love that 690!!
