Great edit Adam. I think you were exaggerating with the threat of wolves and bears, in my opinion, riding without daylight in those extreme rocky trails is way more dangerous. I have been many nights camping solo in Albania and never heard or saw any hint of them wild animals. They are generally afraid of humans and unless they are carrying or have cubs and get them surprised, there is no problem whatsoever. Any mountain or military training will teach you that. While riding with a buddy he had a bad fall while crossing a land slide and dislocated his shoulder in the middle of nowhere in Albania. I had to go find help to the nearest shepherd house, isolated and using Google translate, he not only arranged a 4x4 truck to rescue my friends bike, they offered us coffee and raki while waiting the rescue through a downpour. I had also help from a random guy to fix my bent coolant pipes after I dropped the bike against the rocks in Lure lakes, and they didn't want any compensation. I have only met with the nicest of people in rural Albania and I think your fears about the land are a tad unfounded and unfair, maybe due to the stereotypes driven by click hungry mass media. As you said in the end of the video, you are not in trouble until you actually are. Keep the good work!
I spent week in Albania, and people I met there are hospitable and willing to help. Traffic is crazy, but if you blend with the locals, it's predictable 😀
so nice to read that my people(i am from dibra :) ) helped you and your friend! I would do the same like them , hope to come again in Albania cuz there are so much to see
oh yes you are right especially on the last part about stereotypes.. but i don't blame him, He is an Australian in the end of the day, he don't know anything about Albania. Plus he was riding with a greek... they hate us , i bet he told to him a lot of shitty things about Albania and albanians..
Thank you for those words, Sergi. I totally agree with you. I also went through the balkans, especially Albania, for more than 3 months on a 1090 Adv R and felt very welcome by the people there. We had a great time in every way. We experienced Albania as a wonderfully wild and extremely hospitable country. A pure recommendation to all adventure riders out there. Besides this side note, great experience and video, Adam. Keep up the great work.
That flattened tire & damaged rim have become a blessing not only to the bikers but also to viewers out here. Unexpectedly, we all got to meet such wonderful people. Hi Adam, i'm a croatian living in switzerland, my wife was born not far from the spring calling Earth Eye. We go there several times a year. I discover Dalmatian Zagora (Dalmatian backland) by riding my ‘89 Super Ténéré 750. There is a bulgarian saying: "He who is afraid of bears does not go into the forest". You would have been perfectly fine to sleep anywhere next to that albanian mountain road... Do a longer trip next time, Balkans have a lot to offer!
It’s been an epic adventure from day one all the way to the Greek islands, I’m glad we had this opportunity to roll together again dear friend, can’t wait for the next mission! Keep up with the good work! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
@@MotologyFilms there may be a problem in Albania with GPS. but we as a people are very loving, especially when tourists visit us. As for the roads, they are in a bad condition, but the current politics and the 40 years of the communist regime have left it a little behind compared to other Balkan countries. We are the people. the oldest in the Balkans, but unfortunately we have been treated a lot of injustices by Europe and internal politics. I hope you will visit us again and change your opinion about bad Albania😀🙏
@@EfthymisAlibertis I am glad that you visited Albania on your adventure. I practice endurance and motorbike riding. There is no greater pleasure than traveling by motorbike. The motorbike is the symbol of freedom.👍

Well, hi from Albania. I am a dirtbike rider and i have to say i only saw wolf one time in this 10 years of riding amd it was in winter. I think a little bit overreacted fir the bears and wolves but i am glad you made it safe. Nice trip and cinematic video 👍
I was the american that came to Naxos rally round 2 adam, your life never fails to take my breath away. Im so delighted theyre are people like you living that inspire us and show us the beauty in life.
Albania is not a bad land , I can guarantee you it’s one of the most safest places for a tourist in Europe, even if u decided to sleep with the shepherds nothing would have happened to you guys or your KTM’s , they’re just shepherds summering their livestock in the mountains during summer time, they aren’t hiding.
Albania is one of the most safest places in Europe??? dude please be real. those are 15k bikes each , those Albanians "shepherds" in the mountains were going to feed them to the dogs for much less. Were there is poverty there will always be crime
What an adventure!!! I have been riding for the past 4 years with one arm and my friends think I’m nuts, but you can’t live life on the couch in a comfort zone!! Thank you for your videos!
Riding skills, video editing, script, bike maintenance knowledge, “You’re not an Adventure rider, you’re an itinerary rider”, well said Adam. Another epic video, thank you!
@@MotologyFilms having served in the British Army in the Balkans in the 90’s and knowing 100,000 land mines are still buried there, I can respect folks wanting less “adventure” in those mountains tbh. Nothing can crimp your day more than stepping off an anti personal mine, jumping 12 feet in the area and spreading yourself over a wide area - lol.
After 50 years on the planet I have yet to be chased by wolves or bears on my motorcycle. Granted, I've never been lost in Albania 🇦🇱 but in my experience wild animals tend to steer clear of fast and loud noise making machines with lights if they can help it. Nice adventure riding in wild countryside.
@@bossnian5615 Yeah, my thoughts exactly. They call it true adventure, others call it getting into stupid situations by not being prepared at all... crossing a national border and not even knowing which one it is? Do they even know how to read a map? It's either massively overdramatized or they really should not be doing this kind of stuff because they'll just get themselves into stupid situation where they'll rely on other people's help that could have been avoided by being at least minimally prepared....
@@io_metre They do dramatize for sure, but if you never saw bears and wolves in Albania I call you a liar. Spend a couple of weeks in Romania in the wild and you could hear wolves every other night. Bears, I saw two times. Not sure why you pretend that they don't happen?
Greece is still in the Balkans as far as I know. Albania being the badlands, well, it might look like that for a rich boy from Australia just passing. Albania is like any other Balkan country. People in general are friendly and helpful, there are always bad apples.
At a time when a plethora of adventure riding videos populate social media, your narration, your cinematography, your storytelling and your authenticity, with a distinct lack of apparent sponsored product endorsement, is refreshing and places you on a completely different level to the abundance of ‘experts’ out there. Well done - this truly is adventure television. Well done and please keep them coming.
Adventures depend on what you want or not, your own decisions. The most spectacular places in Albania is not riding in unknown places and land at some shepherds, but places the tourists use to visit from northern mountainous part to the south riviera. Anyway, hope you guys enjoyd your trip and welcome back whenever you want.
Damn I just love the warmth of the people helping with the tire. Had a very similar experience in Vietnam while driving on a little moped once. Friend got a flat tire in the evening and a gentleman from the tiny village we were in turned out to be a mechanic and left his dinner to come and help us, no questions asked.
I'm from this region and your video has made me smile, tear up and laugh out loud and most importantly, thankful for you putting this together! Thank You!
I'm dedicating the rest of my life to doing fun shit like this. I'm 27 and my first bike I bought is a GS and I'm obsessed. Can't wait to get enough gear to finally go on my first adventure here in the states. You have the best videos man!
This makes me want to trade my FZ in on a T7 even more.. what a spectacular ride you were able to capture and what fantastic scenic shots you were able to grab with that drone, giving us a taste of the beautiful & vast Balkan landscape. I'm a first time viewer and you've earned a sub from the land of cheeseburgers.
Beautiful cinematography. You are right... the fascinating thing about adventure riding is that it is the rides where things DONT go to plan that you remember the most. The challenges, the adversity, the "Oh shit" moments that may not be fun at the time... but that is what makes a great adventure ride.
@@stefanpn Point is, there actually are some people hiding in the east-european mountains because of war crimes they did. some ex-military and some really fucked up people. Hopefully you will never get in that situation buddy when your gut is telling you something is not right and indicatives show up.
@@n03m9 what your gut is telling you is that you are in the state of “fear”. Is it reasonalbe or not, that’s whole another question. War days are long gone, but prejudice stays I would assume. I’m a Serb, riden the Albania, didn’t feel threatened or in danger at any moment. Have riden, Bosnia, Croatia or even the heck Kosovo, never had an issue. But I guess it’s up to a person - I’ve meet the nicest people in the most remote areas.
@@stefanpn 100% same experience. I was just mentioning that sometimes there are real dangers and just watching a video you don't see the patterns. Personally, I would camp in such situations with a great sleep as I love to have nature around me and wolves wouldn't attack you. Bears on the other hand can be shitty but chances that they just come on fuck you up while you don't have any food in your tent is very very low.
@@stefanpn Telling you as an Albanian... you should be afraid of albanian mountain people ! Especially when you r gut tells you something is not right, then just get the f0ck away as soon as posible... By far more dangerous then bears and wolves
@@mindtraveller100 off road mode brings down Super Adventure's 160HP to about 100HP , which is the optimal amount of power for that kind of use. In other words, more power will not be useful out of the tarmac, but weight is always your enemy.
You did a spectacular job of keeping up with the 890 R on a bigger more heavy bike and keeping up on it with a top notch rider! You kept a great attitude and definitely added to the enjoyment of watching! Thank You!
"Adventure riding is about having no fear" - Oh no we are lost! Rocks! Wolves! Bears! People! Ahhhhh! Seriously bad advice you don't even seem to follow. Fear is natural and essential for humans to survive. Ignoring it is stupid. As a fellow ADV rider who has done a lot of miles on his own, you need to manage and temper fear. If you are in a situation that feels uncomfortable, listen to your fear and use some "street smarts" and common sense. If you are around suspicious people, leave. People are by far the most dangerous unknown in ADV riding. In Albania to fear bears and wolves is just silly. Making camp would have been better than riding those roads at night. A fire would have kept them at bay. However, if you must press on, learning how to calm down and focus is very important and you seem to have done that.
What a fantastic adventure, next to our yard door (I'm also from Greece), my respects to both of you guys, I admired your courage and drive throughout the journey. Not only a journey but also a story with morals and indoctrination behind it. Hats off again guys and thanks for sharing
Lol, you dont know how many times i've driven the mountains of Albania at night, just like you. No need to panic, Albania was the wildest, the most beautiful and also one of the safest places for offroad adventures.

This is what I believe true adventure is. Epic. Wolves get a bad rep, but they don't attack humans, it's extremely rare. I would worry about bears but I think in that situation I would have camped somewhere, but my fears lie elsewhere. Absolute epic adventure mate. Keep doing what you do. I have learned a lot just from watching your videos.
Fanfukkentastic! Thank you so much for sharing this. Glad you guys had such an amazing time. There really is nothing like just going out with a few days supplies in the mountains with no plans.
This takes me back to a 1000 km adventure trip I did with my DRZ400, with some guys with way more off-road experience than I had. I was stuggling to keep up, because stopping was not an option on some portions. Worst section was a several km long stretch of road with mud that was like "floating" on top of the road. You just had to "point and shoot", keep up speed and hope for the best with the mud-filled knobbies🙂
Crickey, this one got me. Of all the videos you have done, this one was a wake up call for me. “ Raw adventure “ clearly explained and truthfully said. Cheers !

Hi! I have watched many of your videos and I can say that they are well done both in terms of story telling and filming. But precisely during your adventure in Albania, I was very disappointed by the tendentious way of speaking about the country you were traveling to. I don't know where this contempt comes from, but I assure you that you are wrong about the people who live there. They are really poor but also proud and offer to help with their hearts, this has been proven several times by me. And I think you were exaggerating, considering that this is not the first time you have had these kinds of adventures!
This is not „a video“ . This is a true story! Thank you for this amazing captivating 30 minute long adventure. I live fairly close to the balkans yet I’ve not been able to experience their beautiful scenery. This video absolutely blew me away
Guys, you make me laugh, two grown ups riding loud bikes in parks and you talk about it like climbing an Everest :D :D Not a hate comment, but I have done that on foot when I was 18..., just a tent across mountains of Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro. And you talk about bears when riding a motorcycle or suspicious people when you are in two. This is hilarious and extremly sad at the same time. And I am still no older than you, it perception has changed.
Interesting comment at the beginning - the difference between an adventure rider and an itinerary rider (yes, I booked all hotels in advance, and strictly on tarmac only) 😀 I am actually following the itinerary approach … and enjoying it thoroughly. Well, at least my bike is called “Super Adventure S” … for me this itinerary adventure is perfect as it is. And I admire how others do “real” adventures. Greetings from Switzerland
It's an adventure as soon as it feels adventorous to you! That can be at the south pole or it can be in your neighboring town and it can be survival for weeks in the wilderness outside of civilization or it can be finding out how cold your fingers get when crossing the alps. I don't understand this dismissive attitude from the video. Makes the authors seem to me like massive show-offs...
I've been following Adam a year or so. I was 100% sure he'll think it's safer to be moving than sitting in the dark knowing no one. With all the adventures, bike riding techniques, camping, etc. videos been always thinking (dreaming) would it be possible to master his level of riding as a female dirt bike rider. Couldn't keep me thinking all the way through this video " I'm gonna do my best to become a rider like him, so one day I can follow him in his country trips". It would be a tremendous achievement! Thanks for being who you are, the way you ride, looking after your bike, respect to the nature and all other riders, make content and amazing story telling. there was no video I would ever think of arguing !!!
Bears and wolves must be a lot more aggressive over there. Here on Vancouver Island both typically want nothing to do with you. Great video, really enjoyed it. 👍
Nope. Same in southern Europe. You can camp and you don't need to worry about wolf packs storming your motorcycle 😂. Plus, in BC you have mountain lions as well!
In slovakia there is one of the highest density’s of brown bears in the world and only one person got killed in 1927 in the recorded history. He is massively overdramatising to support his idea that he is very special and one of the only truly adventurers.
"I love it when the roads turn to $h+ and the traffic has to tiptoe through, off-road bikes rise straight to the top of the food chain" totally agree for us adventure bike too even on public roads adventure bikes are most sought since it can handle all types of roads. epic footage great vid keep it up
Love seeing some familiar places through your camera and storytelling. There is sooooo much more to see and explore in the Balkans, you just tipped the top of the iceberg. Greeting from Serbia. PS You'd have been fine camping in Albania on that night, or anywhere along the route.
Did you even check how many atacks of bears or wolfs hapend over there? I think not . Even my 10 year kid knows that no wild animal will come and atack you just like that how you think. Next time be carefull at buterflys. They are verry dangerous creaturi:))))
Was thoroughly enjoying this video until I saw you acting like a total jerk in Albania. First of all mate, wolves and bears won't even come near your bikes. Both are shy animals and prefer to stay far away from humans. I only saw a bear with its cubs once and that way deep in the mountain. We saw them before they saw us so we turned away. As for wolves, seen them many more times, but forget that they'll charge you on your bikes, especially being two of you. As for the people on these regions, unless by some chance you come across a loner psycho (just as anywhere else in the world), chances you'll find trouble are zero. In fact, the Albanian highlanders are the most hospitable people you'll find in Europe. You would've been totally fine sharing the hut with those shepherds because (I say this as an Albanian). Quite sure the fear was passed down from your Greek mate's tales.
Nice ride however I need to share the following message with you. There is something that seems disturbing to me. It is possible that my point of view is completely wrong from yours. Nevertheless, this is how I perceived it and I must say it was not positive at all. Did those shepherds do anything to humiliate you publicly? Did they show harmful intentions towards you or your bikes? Did you give them a chance to tell their story publicly? And why do you put such a big emphasis on "Albanians" when you say sharing a tent with them? If you want to trust your instincts that is fine and you should do so but who gives you the right to pick 5 random guys and make them the bad guys in your story besides the wolves and the bears? Whatever their story is, you took it, shredded their identity, and created some garbage. I did like your video up to the point you started to talk about those people who are working hard for their food. At least that is all you showed us, isn't it? And also the words F***** and Albania are not very nice to share with your followers and the rest of the world. Albania is a country with a rich history and not a single country can be cursed like that. If you are searching for adventure, I advise you to be humble in every country you go in. You never know who you will meet and at least you show the correct example and inspirational messages to other adventure seekers among us.
Because "Albanians" have the name... And myself i came across some people in mountains, i was thinking they were shepherds and it turned out they were cannabis farmers and as we approached we were welcomed with some rifles pointing towards us.
Too much crying on the other side of the video. The riders you met on the way came from Italy with the old transalps, and you stress that brand new motorcycles don't break like that? In Australia, anything that moves can kill you, but here you were afraid of bears and wolves, who wouldn't even come near you. Cool video but less crying please!

couldn't agree more! masterpiece once again
100%
That was captivating 👍
How did he lerned it ? Hes really good in it ! :)
That's exactly why I immediately subscribed when I came along this channel. It's amazing.
balkan people living in villages and towns never fail to amaze me with their incredible hospitality. Its always a grandpa that will put all his power to work and tryto help u in any way. Very beautiful video and story telling ,keep it up!!!(Ευθυμη εισαι αλανι)
After watching your first film, I 've got inspired and travelled from Scotland to Greece, via.. Morocco, now living in Greece, I think its time to take on the Balkans, the most underrated and probably most unique part of Europe, Thank you!!!
No me canso de ver este video.
Lo vi muchas veces, y sigo disfrutándolo.
Creo que es tu video que más me gusta, y que tienes muchos y muy buenos, pero este es una magnífica mezcla de aventura y lugares increíbles.

There is a bulgarian saying: "He who is afraid of bears does not go into the forest". You would have been perfectly fine to sleep anywhere next to that albanian mountain road... Do a longer trip next time, Balkans have a lot to offer!
It’s been an epic adventure from day one all the way to the Greek islands,
I’m glad we had this opportunity to roll together again dear friend, can’t wait for the next mission!
Keep up with the good work! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
From a phone call to "Lost, into the fucking Albania!" Ahaha, you crack me up, Efthymis. Until next time my friend ...

They "survived" the balkans, I mean seriously?
@@uchigatana1325 You clearly don't know anything about albanian people. That part was overdramatized, they would never touch your stuff.
Watching and learning it is very good, I have been riding in Albania for 8 days it is rather amazing and most people you meet are gold.
What an adventure!!! I have been riding for the past 4 years with one arm and my friends think I’m nuts, but you can’t live life on the couch in a comfort zone!! Thank you for your videos!
Adam you're not just great biker, adventurer but also great cameraman, editor, writer, director and film maker. Awesome
Riding skills, video editing, script, bike maintenance knowledge, “You’re not an Adventure rider, you’re an itinerary rider”, well said Adam. Another epic video, thank you!
The itinerary rider comment didn't sit well with a lot of people , but hey ...
Absolutely incredible! What a beautiful place! The guy fixing the wheel really brought a smile to my face!
Wolves and bears are just an old legend of Albania. You better come to US, Canada or Russia to get yourself really fine among all of them ;))
These guys are being dramatic for nothing lol. So called “Adventurers” who dOnT bOok hOtElS but surely eat McDonald’s
@@bossnian5615 And from what you see in the video did sleep in hotels every night of their trip
The best moto vlogging I have ever seen, this is enough to inspire someone who wants to go for an adventure but has full of excuse.
Thanks Phil. If nothing else I hope I've inspired people to make better use of their bike and push their boundaries a little further.
Bears and wolfs? Just pitch your tent! No problems. Been riding in Albania several times.
I'm glad you enjoyed my country, greetings from Croatia! ❤
What I like the most is that Adam is so calm in any situation and just sorts it out. He is a legend.
The scenery, the narrative, and the adrenaline rush make this by far the best motorbike adventure movie.
"Nearly perished..." LOL. You almost had to set up your tents and camp overnight. Almost.
Beautiful cinematography. You are right... the fascinating thing about adventure riding is that it is the rides where things DONT go to plan that you remember the most. The challenges, the adversity, the "Oh shit" moments that may not be fun at the time... but that is what makes a great adventure ride.
Brent your videos are incredible too mate, this is all high quality stuff. Love it!
For a guy who never panics, you sure gave us a damn good impersonation of someone in a panic. "Bears and wolves." LOL
Also fear of shepards in Albania…

Hahaha!
1290 was not bad at all!🍻
Heavier, but also more powerful, or not?
Fatigue brings accidents

This is just mind blowing. After the pandemic I've been scared to feel these emotions! I'ts time to take my life back! Thanks Adam for the courage !
The best motorbike UA-camr to ever do it 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🔥🔥🔥 please keep creating these masterpieces ❤️
Crickey, this one got me. Of all the videos you have done, this one was a wake up call for me.

That is what life is about.....Probably one of the coolest ADV vids I have watched......and motivational.
This!! I could not agree more. Completely turned me off of this channel. Very closeminded and unfair.
This is amazing
You understand. Those situations have all your senses firing ... we didn't eat or drink for hours and just powered through on adrenaline.
Proper adventure, motivating everyone to go out there and live one just like you and Euthimis did....!!!!
This is not „a video“ . This is a true story! Thank you for this amazing captivating 30 minute long adventure. I live fairly close to the balkans yet I’ve not been able to experience their beautiful scenery. This video absolutely blew me away
I am from Croatia and this is gold. I am your huge fan Adam! 10/10
I have to agree. As great as the production quality of this video is, the sensationalism just went too far.
Interesting comment at the beginning - the difference between an adventure rider and an itinerary rider (yes, I booked all hotels in advance, and strictly on tarmac only) 😀
I am actually following the itinerary approach … and enjoying it thoroughly. Well, at least my bike is called “Super Adventure S” … for me this itinerary adventure is perfect as it is.
And I admire how others do “real” adventures.
Greetings from Switzerland
If you have money all hotels are yours.
Yeah man no worries .. if you talk slow over drone footage doesnt make you more of a man .. take it easy and do what fits you ..
@@Marvininini yeah you are right ... but also people need being pushed a little sometimes ... but condencendence is not nesesarry
There's only one word to describe it.... Majestic! Greetings from Greece guys!❤️🇬🇷
Adam you should win an award. Each video you churn out is epic.
Stunning footage, breath-taking experience. Well done boys. Love and respect from an Italian enduro rider.
Excellent tour. Albania seems to be a very interesting adventure destination. As for bears, I don't think there are more than in Romania 😀
Bears and wolves must be a lot more aggressive over there. Here on Vancouver Island both typically want nothing to do with you. Great video, really enjoyed it. 👍
The dude is a clown
"I love it when the roads turn to $h+ and the traffic has to tiptoe through, off-road bikes rise straight to the top of the food chain" totally agree for us adventure bike too even on public roads adventure bikes are most sought since it can handle all types of roads.
epic footage great vid keep it up
What a wonderful story. Fantastic scenery. Thanks for making it and sharing it with us Adam.
Welcome to Croatia (and Balkans).... Rough terrain, rugged hands and soft hearts.

Amazing stuff 👏
Another great film! I totally agree with the adventure element and not booking hotels etc
Bro the bears and wolves aren’t going to jump out at you. You are making a big deal of nothing.
Quite sure the fear was passed down from your Greek mate's tales.
beji report vlla nga minuta 21:15 kur greku shan shqiperine
Yep….True in some sense
Kudos to that. It seems he does it for clicks, really insensitive types who would do anything for money
Because "Albanians" have the name... And myself i came across some people in mountains, i was thinking they were shepherds and it turned out they were cannabis farmers and as we approached we were welcomed with some rifles pointing towards us.
Wow! The only thing better than this adventure, is the rest you and Efthymis got when you took a nap after you got home! Brilliant stuff
Ευθυμη, εισαι θρυλος ρε bro! Adam, nice watching your crazy ass adventures dude!
