Urie mentioned that his wife was very private and they were having real trouble house hunting because people kept following them everywhere and showing up to their rental house. Taylor Swift said something about a stalker being arrested for breaking into her house. It’s a real problem for celebrities, and they are *not* ok with it. I did read in an interview that the other pop stars have reached out to Chappell and extended their support, but personally what I think that girl needs is a break in a secluded location where no one recognizes her.
My introduction to Gena Rowlands was The Notebook, like most millennials. And honestly, for me, she and James Garner sold that film for me. But the later film of hers that really captured me was Playing By Heart, an ensemble rom com where she played opposite Sean Connery (in my favorite role of his ever, to be honest). Their scenes together are absolutely phenomenal and I love them as a married couple in it.
"Gloria" might have been the first Rowlands movie I saw as a kid; I thought she was fabulous and truly kicked ass. I got to see her in person several years ago at an interview, and she still kicked A, being down-to-earth, funny, and sage while reflecting on her life and career. RIP to a true legend.
