Suga, during "Suchwita," described this performance as one of Jimin's Legendary performances. It was exactly that! Boy, did he gain a massive amount of attention for himself and BTS. Yes, he was blindfolded; they talked about it in the episode when Jimin was on the show.

Brings back such goosebump memories. Jimin sucked me into the BTS world and no group to this day match their caliber for me. It felt like discovering Michael Jackson or the Beatles of this generation. Personally, non of the boy groups in the past half century has ever affected me as much as BTS have.

One of the most legendary moments in KPOP when jimin dance in blindfold he is the only the member in bts that can dance in blindfold when I first see this performance I was 100 for sure that he will going to be my fav artist of all the time my reaction was who the fuck is this how is he dance blindfold then learn that he is the best dancer in KPOP and one of the best dancers in the world and the king of performances
YesJordan Park Jimin was a 💯 blind folded he could not see and yes the man is shy in person and real life but not on stage he turns in to a beast, Park Jimin is highly and super talented and he is not given enough credit and praise for it and he is more versatile than any dancer I have ever seen not taking anything away from Jhope be he is talented to 🥰 Oh but Jimin is on another level I am yet to see a talent like Jimin🥰his skills set is totally different 💯💯and I love Jordan's face and reaction I laughed so hard seeing that JJimin shook you like that😂😂
I can imagine the pressure for Jimin to deliver that blinfolded performance, doing that tumbling and everything, and he nailed it. Anyway that was Jimin, he's always legendary.

I know I have commented many many times on your videos but when I say I have watched blindfolded Jimin perform that routine it has to be close to over 100 times because it was ALL THAT, please believe me when I say that I STILL feel like I am about to faint EVERY TIME I witness that short but most powerful performance Jimin has EVER done. We all felt the same chill when the song turned into Jimin's lie and the pump when it switched back to boy meets evil so masterfully. There is no choice but to be captivated by their music and then you add the world class dance performances on top 😘
He cannot see. I believe they carried him on stage bc he couldn’t see. I saw a dancer comment that doing the spins blindfolded is super hard too bc they have no visual reference. And that was JK hanging at the beginning. And later they won their first grand prize unexpectedly. So proud! 💜💜

Even if Jimin could see a little (not saying he could), having anything on your head like that messes with your center of gravity. Not to mention that it covered his ears which affects his equilibrium. His body control and spatial awareness is incredible. This is one of my favorite of Jimin’s.
I LOVE that they always let the dance line have a moment to shine in the award show performances.

I love the MAMA and MMA performances because they truly show how great live performers they are and they truly understand how to make incredible stage shows. And the speeches BTS gives!! and the vibe they have with ARMY singing and screaming throughout!! and them just goofing around being their caotic selves (this at a time when idol were expected to be flawless and couldn't be seen being "unperfect", yet that is exactly what makes BTS perfect to me bc they were just being themselves). I do wish MAMA and MMA would a) up their camera work, so they don't zoom out on epic points b) have more stable microphone sounds (I understand they have hundreds going on stage throughout those 6h of the shows, so obvisously it can happen... just wishful thinking).
If you guys think this was great ( and it was), just wait to see MMA 2018 , 2019 ( my favourite), and 2020 !

When I start watching a BTS video, it doesn’t seem to stop.they seem to pull you into some whirlpool sort of thing!
I wasn't sure i should watch this reaction since last time inwatched this channel they highlighted some other member (maybe bias?) in Blood, Sweat and Tears, the melody for which was written by Jimin and his opening of the song at the time made history. Brought in huge fans. He was called the master of opening by local media. Jimin has also unintentionally made number of killing parts in BTS songs that local media still talks about.
Anyway thank you for your reactions. Jimin like Suga said in Suchweta created many legendary performances that helped rookie BTS standout among many rookie and older kpop boy groups. He was the most famous and popular member right from the start. Without Jimin no BTS as we know now :) Even recently RM said without Jimin it would have been a disaster for BTS.

Late to the party… again. In reference to Jimin dancing blindfolded…. Aside from the WIDE variety of skills that he combines…. Absolutely he can do this 100% blind.
My medical massage instructor was also a black belt in Tai Chi. He was only allowed to spar with the owner of the Dojo after putting someone through the wall. When you spar you go all in.
Aside from teaching the centering Tai Chi that most of us think of, he also taught us the tactical aspect. It’s a defensive martial arts. He also teaches knife skills. He had a long line of fluorescent tape on the floor. Lights turned out except for the partially open door so we could see. Blindfolded he did a complete two knife maneuver all the way down the room. He moved lightning fast and his feet never left the line.
Yes. Jimin absolutely has the skill to jump, spin, stay in sync with J-Hope all while blindfolded. I ever get tired of watching that.

Their first performance on MAMA was 2014 with Block B, 2015 they did it with Got7, they did part of it as their own performance, the artists that are shown in the beginning of the Fire performance are of BamBam and Jackson from Got7, in 2016 was the first performance they did themselves and not in a collaboration on the main stage. They had done a performance on the red carpet stage in 2014 before their collaboration with Block B on the main stage.
2016 was the first year they got a Daesung (grand price) and was the first group not from the big three agencies (YG,SM,JYP) at the time to get one of them. Some years earlier G-Dragon from BigBang had criticise MAMA in his performance on their stage about this that the big awards only was given to an artist from this agencies.
If you haven’t watch Bts intro performance trailer video, it was a response to MBC messing up the camera work for their performance on the end of the year celebration 20141231. At the time Bts and their company was small and hadn’t the influence to say how they wanted it to be filmed and shown. If you watch the live performance be aware that the camera is all over the place, it was the intro to their song Danger.

No any other performances can top that sht. My dad’s plate literally dropped when he saw a live horses on stage. And shouted NO FCKIN WAY and binge watch all their performances that night And jimin’s beautiful magnificent dance?????? Goodness gracious that was a cherry on top.
