- I traveled on Singapore Airlines’s 17-hour non-stop flight from San Francisco to Singapore to join the Singapore Airshow 2024. This video features all the highlights of the flight and the airshow.
My flight was one of many ultra-long haul flights Singapore Airlines operates from the U.S. to Singapore. I documented the current product and behind the scenes on how crew operate such long flight.
At the Singapore Airshow, China’s COMAC is showing its new C919, first time outside of China. I tour the cockpit of the C919 which looks like a combination of some of the world’s best cockpit, you find large screen displays, keyboard, mouse and sidesticks.
Another new airplane on display is COMAC’s ARJ21. Indonesia Transnusa is the first foreign operator. They spoke about their experience with the ARJ21. There is also a freighter version of the ARJ21 on display. I didn’t even know such type exists.
Next, I visited the Airbus A400M, a military transporter with soft landing capability on gravel and grass. It was also used for troops parachuting. Last, I went onboard Taiwan’s Starlux Airlines A330neo to see some of the latest features.

The Starlux A330neo was absolutely stunning. I'd LOVE to fly on that.
I flew this leg 8 times now! That was no flight, it was a stunning experience!! The crew was amazingly polite, friendly and sweet! The Airbus 350 was an absolutely amazing aircraft to fly on!!SIA is one amazing airline! 🥰💪

I’m flying ANA Business Class from NYC to Haneda to Jakarta to Bali.
Then I’m flying from Bali to Singapore on KLM business class. Super excited for a luxurious month-long getaway.
Just flew SIA on a FRA-SIN return flight on the A350. Been flying regularly on the A350 and it's an amazing airplane. Quiet, comfortable, low cabin altitude and SIA service is second to none.

Sam you are spot on at 2:24! It is a first world problem for sure but my wife and took that flight in December and we actually hated those seats.. not only do they not automatically convert to a flat bed without getting up and flight attendant folding them down, that diagonal sleeping position is really uncomfortable in fact. Great of you to point this out!

Been told my Asian colleagues that emirates do differs in service varying from which sector they fly too whereas SIA has always been consistent in service regardless of their sector !

I just took SQ32 from sg to sfo on 18-Feb. I think we just crossed. SQ flight is always so comfortable and great service.

Never flown with Transnusa and not even the ARJ21 but did accidentally spotted once and i swear it looks like a CRJ but the shape of the nose section is more like a Maddog but modern because of the 2 rear mounted efficient engines. Overall, i enjoy this video so much❤👍
