Wow congrats on a short turnaround. Your evidence must have been mad solid. I can only guess that your other claims have gotten you to 100%. If not keep fighting now that you have that big one.

    1. **Review your medical evidence**: Understand your medical history thoroughly so you can effectively communicate it to the examiner.
    2. **Understand the purpose of your exam**: Stick to discussing what you're being evaluated for and avoid going off-topic.
    3. **Be honest and open**: Express how your disabilities affect your daily life and don't hesitate to share your experiences, even if they're emotional.
    4. **Prepare a list**: Make a list of symptoms and medications related to your disabilities to ensure you don't forget any important details.
    5. **Know your claim**: Understand the details of your disability claim, including whether it's primary or secondary, and how it originated.
    6. **Be punctual**: Arrive on time for your exam to show respect for the examiner's time and to avoid rushing through the process.
    7. **Bring relevant documentation**: If available, bring letters from spouses or doctors that explain how your disabilities affect you.
    8. **Dress appropriately**: Be clean and presentable, but don't overdress; wear comfortable clothing that allows movement.
    9. **Stay focused and calm**: Try to remain focused on the topic at hand and ask for clarification if needed.
    10. **Follow up**: After the exam, follow up on the status of your claim to ensure everything is progressing as it should.
These tips can help veterans prepare for and navigate their compensation and pension exams effectively.

First rule is don't get an examiner who is brand new who the VA has taught that the veteran is the enemy.

Yeah it crazy but it depends on the examiner a lot of times. Some will go off of medical records only but if you ever feel like you are not getting a proper examination speak up and complain.

What if your having flare ups and your in alot of pain on that day. Will they cancel your exam? And will that hurt your claim?

After having a C&P exam for knees 4 months ago VA is going to get a medical opinion from another doctor for which I don’t need to attend. Is that normal?

@imveryhungry112 at least that is what the notification online says but I'm reading sometimes it can take 1 year. I was mine is being finalized yesterday by the hotline. So call the hotline and ask exactly what's going on with your situation.
