Great question. We stayed outside of Central Hong Kong at a Holiday Inn Express(booking.tp.st/BCCkxVAa). We used points for a free stay and took public transit into the city. Hope that helps 😃
May I say that it is NOT TRUE that the Qing Dynasty gave up Hong Kong after losing the Opium War. They gave up only Hong Kong Island and south of Boundary Street (Southern tip of Kowloon Peninsula.) The rest of Hong Kong, North of Boundary Street and the entire New Territories, which accounts for most of the Hong Kong land area, were lease to British Empire for up to 99 years only. Following World War II, many "unequal treaties," particularly those imposed on China by Western powers, were largely abolished, although some aspects of these treaties, like those related to Hong Kong, persisted until later agreements were made. After June 30, 1997, the remaining colony of the Hong Kong region were returned to China from UK and after December 19,1999, Macau had returned to China from Portugal.

Do you guys work online remote jobs to where you can travel or How are you affording to be traveling because I would love to do this too but I don't know how I would get income.
This is a great question and what i can say, is there's no one way to do it. Many people we know work remote jobs that give them the flexibility to travel, others do freelance work to fund their travels, but we did things slightly different. We started with college debt, but for years, we lived below our means and saved over 50% of our income so we could take the leap on this business. And now we are tasked with making this business profitable which is...easily the most difficult thing we've ever tried to do 😅 But again, it's not a one size fits all kind of thing. You could use any or all of these avenues, or different ones, to pursue a life of travel. Travel is more accessible than ever before and it can be very affordable, especially if you travel slower. Hope that helps a bit and we hope you find a path that works for you 😃
I love all these Asian countries jealous cause why click on something that you don’t like but love to comment on .! Hey just to let you know there a bigger world out there not only the next town over where is probably your longest trip
Welcome to the beautiful Hong Kong, a special administrative region of China 😊. Under the principle of "one country, two systems", Hong Kong's currency, legal system, financial system, tax system, immigration systems, etc. etc. are different from those of the Mainland of China. Hope you will also, taking advantage of the 144-hr visa rule, visit more cities in Mainland China like Chongqing, Chengdu... also check out the stunning natural scenery in Yunnan Province, Jiuzhaiguo, Zhangjiajie, Xinjiang...
