What happens if you bypass Elminster?

I wanted to find out what would happen if as dark urge you killed your romanced Gale before getting the charm from Elminster. Surely he could be revived???
Alas, this thought experiment was born and I did the work FOR SCIENCE. I am also using mods in this run, one of which gives me a better misty step, which is how I achieved this.

You could of also used the underdark entrance to get to the shadowlands instead.
Thanks for this I was wondering how they'd handled Gale and Elmaster if you never bothered with the gith cresh area, and while you did go through that way I'd assume it would basically work the same as what is shown here regardless

Yeah I prefer going through the mountain pass unless I'm trying to improve my relationship with Shadowheart because it feels less stressful to me, but for this particular test it also seemed far more feasible to bypass him. In the underdark entrance it's a lot more closed in. But I haven't tried to be fair and I do imagine the outcome is the same but potentially worth testing haha.
