Twelve-spotted Skimmers are fast and agile. There are twelve black spots on all four wings of the male or three on each one. Between these black spots are eight bright white spots that may look light blue. Males have a powdery blue abdomen. The female tail is black with a long yellow stripe on there side. Adults feed on small flying insects. 🏞️
