Awesome video! No talking, no stupid jokes, no dumb rants about shit nobody cares about! Just playing and showing how its done!! We guitar players who want to learn just need to be shown how. That's it, that's all. New fan! Love it!
What I'd give to learn under you... I deeply admire people who can play like this 😍 beautiful and badass! So much feel, blues, so original... if this is your own composition I need to find myself a teacher asap! Til then I'm just gonna keep on playing! I would love to travel around and perform this style of music to share the joy and love of it with everyone :) weather I will or not is not important... it's playing your heart out!
I'll not forget when after listening to Robert it took a short while before I `HEARD' . After which time from then on forward it was as if I was placed under a spell, then hearing every nuance whether it be in standard or alternate tuning. But that was only in listening , what your doing is remarkable and you bring me back to that enchanted time for me as a music lover and I am most grateful for that kind sir''! Thank you! LIKED
Hell yeah, that's what I was thinking. It doesn't just feel like a demo. He respects it and it comes through in his play. It's got the sass, grime and attitude. Pretty punchy too for just using fingers and no picks. I dig it!
Hiya. Fantastic. This is excellent. Love that 12th fret lick. Question though - I'm trying to play along but your guitar sounds like its maybe a tone or semi tone higher than mine. Are you tuned up a half step or something?
Sounds great. I'm viewing it over and over, trying to identify your fingering, because it epitomizes the kind of open g picking and slide I want to master. Any possibility that you might post an instructional version of this video?
I could watch you play all day. Wish it was split screen so I could see what it is your doing. I bought a resonator recently and looking to buy a parlor guitar. Any suggestions for a non expensive one? Thanks for your videos. Stay safe during all this mess.
YEA YOU Rock... This guitar could be the cousin of my Lyon Healy 20s Parlor They are sweet guitars ..IF You find the right Luthier as I was lucky too THEN ,there Golden Guitars There is nothing Quite Like the sound of Brazilian Rose wood keep PLAYIN BROTHER!!1
Its a Lyon and Healy guitar the model is columbus...made 1895 to 1915 its a #5. The # 's were used for quality of materials 6 was the highest it would include more inlays. Its a red spruce top . The back and sides are cherry or birch.
Absolutely brilliant example of someone who not only knows how to play the blues but also feels what they're playing. Wonderful.
If you don't feel when you're playing then it's not the blues.
