I've been doing 15 minutes of Audio Trip every single day for the last 2 years (since you recommended it) as part of my warm up routine. I have over 16 hours of custom maps installed and compiled a 3 hour of my favorite songs. Every day I play 3-4 random songs from these play lists. The fact that this game is cross-buy enabled makes it possible to run it from my PC, which frees up a lot of space on my headset. Worked great on Quest 2, and now even better on Quest 3. Since I am using the PC version, I am not even sure if it already has a mixed reality mode or not. That would have me switch back to the native Quest version.
I am so glad you are loving it! It's definitely always been one of my go-to's as well :) They don't currently have a mixed reality version, and I'm honestly not sure if they are planning to. The team is only 2 developers (who are the most amazing ppl btw; I am so grateful to call them friends ☺️) and adding a mode like that takes a lot of work! Have you tried the new Steam Link yet for PCVR on Quest? It's so incredible!
@@VikingPrincessVR Yes, I've read about the couple who works on Audio Trip. Knowing about the persons behind the amazing product adds even more to the experience. And yes, Steamlink is a game changer (literally!) for PC VR. My Steam games are not only easier to start but run so much smoother too!
@@Hafizul12 Here's the link from the AudioTrip Discord that gives you instructions on how to add custom songs: bit.ly/2C5XDZm There is a Discord server dedicated to sharing custom choreography, and you can grab custom maps from there: discord.gg/puBPK7XXjG
Audio Trip Cardio has been my favorite for a couple of years, for all the reasons you say. Man, it works the core on Drift when you have to twist back and forth fast. Love it. I tried making my own choreography so I had more songs, but it's really hard.
Right?? The core workouts are intense! Absolutely love it 🎉💪 I tried making my own song once too. I had this dream about giving away custom Audio Trip Fitness tracks to people - but as you say, it is hard!!! I have so much respect for all the custom mappers 🙌
What great tips! Thank you! And I'll just chime in that while I really enjoy *all* the VR fitness apps (with a few clear favorites), nothing out there will as consistently get me up into higher aerobic HR zones -- and keep me there -- like the OST Cardio playlist in Audio Trip. Maybe Thrill of the Fight can get you up there too, but ToTF isn't for everyone and requires a lot of self-motivation to use for a long cardio workout. By contrast, the music and movement and visuals of Audio Trip make every long cardio workout a blast!
I love how you can add jump movements into the routine by putting them out of reach and then putting low triangles to turn it into a burpee ! thanks for video
I definitely haven't spent enough time with the custom songs, but grateful they have the option! I know this is a feature that is so important to many users :)
We're loving this!! So many creative ways to spice up your workouts 🤩Thank you for such an incredible, informative, and FUN video! Good luck to everyone entering the giveaway, we'll see you in VR. 😎
I've been playing VR or years now. I exercise everyday. But I've always wondered if vr exercise is there yet? You mentioned no leg tracking allow for cheating. If I consider using vr for cardio will I still have potential for a workout that can replace current workouts? Or is this more "in addition to?" Great video by the way!
Thank you! And yes, VR can definitely replace parts of your current fitness routine, but it's best used in combination with other exercises, such as resistance/weight training, if that's where you are in your journey :) I personally use VR for the days I am having a hard time with motivation (because it's more fun than most other workouts!), for cardio and HIIT training, as well as toning. I find I use my body the same or more in VR than if I were to follow along to a video. As for the "cheating" - it's very similar to any other exercise: You get what you put into it. So yes, you can play the game and pass the levels without doing much work, but if you're there because you're interested in breaking a sweat and getting a good workout, then you can definitely do that as well - which is what I wanted to show with this video :) Some games are better than others to encourage leg movements, and Audio Trip Cardio mode is definitely one of the more successful ones. Bodycombat VR is also one that always makes my legs burn, as well as the FitXR Sculpt classes :) I hope that helps!
@@marcypareira I'll put something together for the next week or two! Recording for the "best finess app" is already making me workout at high intensities 2+ hours/ day 🤣🤣
Absolutely! With any game, really. Putting some thought into why you are doing the workout, and make adjustments to meet the goals :) As long as you're staying safe and within your means, you're good to go :)

That idea of giving away custom tracks is so good! I'm sorry that didn't work out.

I haven't considered burpees! What do you do with the controllers?
Great tips, thanks!
I am glad you found them helpful!
Great advice here.
Thank you!! Any specific ones you found more helpful than the others?
I've been playing Audio Trip VR for quite a while and this video really exceeded my expectations! Great tips!
Thank you so much! I am so glad you found it useful :)
Great video ! I tryed Audio Trip last week and it entered immediatly my workout routine 😃

Great video! I would be very interested in a specialized playlist. 😊

And noted!! Is there a particular focus of the playlist you would like first??

I wish they put Goldie more in songs. I like dancing with her
They just released their 2024 roadmap, and getting Goldie on all songs is on there! So are 2 more DLCs and multiplayer 🎉
