Absolutely. He knows his tone, and he knows his hands. I think we focus less on some of the physical dynamics in the electric guitar world because of how much different gear can alter it. Check out Andres Segovia playing the Magic Flute for a perfect illustration of what I'm talking about.
@@CiDK the music ye but I’m skeptical of the whole tone in the fingers stuff. Yeah he’s a great composer but I don’t see like how a normally fretted e3 can sound any different from another one w dynamics being the same
Ugh, while I like the Black album, I resent it at the same time, because it's the point where Metallica started going downhill, at least in my opinion. I'm sure they still have diehard fans out there. I just love the thrash stuff.
From a Gen-Z’er here, a lot of us who’ve gotten onto instruments I’ve found are gravitating more towards older music due to a lack of instruments in a lot of mainstream music. Look at the top 10 nowadays and you may be lucky to get a traditional Guitar, Drums, Bass & vocals track a handful of times a year now.
I don't know if Ichika will ever see this but this song is soooo good like I actually want to learn this for when my camp does a talent show. I checked the tab website but I don't see it there. I would absolutely LOVE it if there was a tab for this that way I could learn it. This video actually gave me the chills. Much love Ichika ❤ your talent is amazing!!
We see the hands very well here. You can put the time to learn it old school style, by pausing and looking at his hands. You probably will play it better this way, as his style is expressive, some techniques can't be transposed to a tab ;)
Unforgiven Trilogy is insane tbh, the original is probably the best, but Unforgiven III has a place in my heart. The style on Death Magnetic was really damn good. Day That Never Comes is one of my favorites off that album and in their whole discography, period
Pls use this guitar more. I am obsessed with this guitar. Tim has the best ideas when it comes to anything guitar, and this is like my favorite guitar of all time. I said guitar a lot
Perfect hands (I loved the harmonics). Perfect signature guitar. Perfect song. Thank you Ichika, thank you Tim and thank you Metallica for this perfect video.
Im sorry, am I the only one who starts to feel happy and sad at the same time whenever they here this man become with his Guitars because damn this was beautiful, amazingly articulated mate.
I like Unforgiven -track from Metallica called as "Black Album". First time I see somebody playing own natinal-culturized -arregement and like you, Japanese Stylish mood down in your lute -notes. I have my own arragement for this song but never performed it live or online and perhaps never won't. i like this your piece of this beatiful song.
The best thing about Unforgiven is that the melody is so simple yet so effective, and beautiful.
@The_troglys_guitar_show.. this is ichikas channel you used the wrong spambot
Of course, thanx to Morricone, whose melodies is inspired !
And then he made it not so simple and less beautiful.
@@DM-rc4yu Music is about self expression.
Ichika + Metallica + Tim Henson signature guitar = Heaven ❤️
>Tim Henson - Muppets for life
Metichika
Just before watching this I checked out Tim Henson for the first time - that was so confusing 😂😂
@@mystamusica8571 and I found Ichika from a comment in Tim Henson's video lol
How about alip bata
There's just a very different vibe and tone to the song when Ichika plays it. Goes to show just how great of a musician he is

Compression and high tilt man it’s not that hard

tim's signature guitar is sooo pretty, it looks amazing and it sounds even better than it looks
Broooo that slide at 0:44 was soooo on point !
🔥🔥
🤯🤯🤯🤯
Imagine doing that on a steel string guitar 😢😅
I'm constantly blown away by how good this guitar sounds. I'm so happy that Tim was able to convince Ibanez to remake and release it! Incredible!
Just wish it would ship already to the people who ordered day 1, going on 2 months late now
Dude had to make an OP album to convince the company!! He literally made the market to sell!
The sound is so mesmerizing!
What guitar is this a remake of?
It sounds bad. Elastic bands and fret buzz 😂
Nice cover man. The unforgiven is one of the best songs on Black album in my opinion.
Metallica was so dialed in during that era.
Definitely the best song
@@vincentoconnor5640 God That Failed is my favorite off that album but I don't know if it would sound as good on a Tim Henson nylon string
Ugh, while I like the Black album, I resent it at the same time, because it's the point where Metallica started going downhill, at least in my opinion. I'm sure they still have diehard fans out there. I just love the thrash stuff.
Mustaine said that too, back in the day.
Idk why I found the way he flicks his hand at 0:37 so fascinating
Ichika on nylon is just such a wonderful sound. But hearing this new generation play older stuff just shows how far guitar playing has come.

One of the most blessed sets of fingers on this planet.

Beautifully done as usual. 😌
The confidence of the tap at 0:43 is nice to watch
Immediately head bobbing ensues
That sounded amazing production wise and everything

I know that short and overwhelming is your trademark ;) but I’d pay to listen to you riff on that tune for 20mins, this is heavenly!
This is downright inspirational 😊🙏
