So my blessed brother.. thank you for your wisdom . I purchased a mobile home and it had termites. Yikes it's all redone now though from the subfloor even the metal frame and up. The metal roof idea only became an idea once I saw this. Your tutorial is great as well. I wish it would have had a little bit more of a first person view, like from a GoPro would have made it spectacular since it was hard to get an idea of how to keep everything as straight as possible. It rained yesterday and it felt good knowing nothing was going to penetrate the roof being 1/2" OSB vs the pooling curved roof I had.. Thank you for showing me I just had to be brave.. and anyone can do this who is willing to put in the work and show up everyday even when it's hard... It's still saving you thousands doing it for yourself and also knowing it's done right!
For 10 years I needed a roof I followed your directions my trailer was 12 wide 66 long I just did the whole roof with the help of my friend Jeremy it tool 2 men 12 hours we did it in December 3rd of 2021 the cost for everything delivered to our house for 3,100 dollars the only thing we added was 12 tubes of power grab to also glue down the 1x4 because we live in a very windy area . But I cant thank you enough for giving us this idea. Which was really well done we could not of done it without your help bless you 🙏
Do you think its better to go all the way through the rafter board with the three inch screws through the 1x4's, theres no danger of hitting electrical wires below and are you using 1 or 2 on each intersection of those and the 1 1/2 rafter? Also are you using drip edge, or is there no need for it with the overhang? Just getting all my stuff together to do mine. Thanks.

I use 2 1/2 to 3 screws , 2 at intersections see no need for drip edge. Hope that helps wish you well on your project
