- For the last couple of years, during winter time, the Nürburgring proceeds with extensive track maintenance programs. Often the community is worried that the character of the track will change and its purity will be lost. Most of the times, changes make the track a safer place but this year the general consensus was that the reprofiling of the curb at the top of Foxhole made that section more tricky for new users!
In this, slightly different video, we investigate deep into the subject, highlight what we think is the real problem and offer a solution!

I loved the “Keep Calm” hanger acting as a cheap G-meter.
That was a therapeutic lap. For a moment I forgot to finish my döner.

Bloody hell, having owned & lapped a NB 2.5 with no harnesses just the lateral forces on the torso were enough for me to not give it full send but F-ME that was impressive!
I want to know what suspension it has, probably some Meisters ect, but round of applause to that man!!

I have 250+ laps and an NB8A and I don't think I could achive that level of poise. Smooth, fast, and safe. Great lap!

In my view the curb was a safety margin whenever a 'slower' car didn't see you coming and decided to jump into your lane, which happened often on TF. Unfortunately with the change they took away this escape option. I'm convinced once there's a full load TF day like the Easter weekend, this will cause some accidents.
Let's hope I'm wrong...
I'll be there this Easter (avoiding Karfreitag) from Australia after 4 years of no travel. 250 laps experience for reference. First thing I'm doing is bolting myself into the slowest ring-rental I can find and banging in 20 laps just to get my brain dialled back in. It's a very different environment to pre-pandemic! But we all love it for the same reasons.

I could not agree more! Light cars are the way to go.....my favorite/light cars are Miatas (all generations), GT/GR86, S2000s, MR2s, GR Yaris. Kudos to @morangott3 for the perfect lap.
