All you 100% disabled vet/retired military/current military: you can get a season pass to Universal for $110/person! You just gotta get it on base at the MWR/outdoor recreational facility. Each base may have different hours and different ways to receive the season pass (online/via mail or email). It saves a bunch of money if you visit universal at least twice a year.

True. Going at Christmas and it was cheaper to stay at the Hard Rock with free Express pass for our family of 4 than to buy Express pass separately and stay off property.
Hard Rock is really nice. We feel like it was very well worth the money. We loved Royal Pacific, too. Might try Portifino if we ever get to do it again.
My friend and I are coming December 2025, literally can’t wait, only 453 days to go 😂

Dudley-Do-Right and Popeye are MUSTS in Orlando heat. Go ahead, get drenched. After the ride, you will enjoy a little over one hour of relative cool.
Which one is your FAVORITE - Dudley or Popeye??
@@dfbbreea Both are great. Popeye is more comfortable. Being a big guy, I find myself somewhat cramped in Dudley's vehicles.

Express is so worth it to at least do one day because you get to ride everything and it's so easy to use!
So happy y'all plan to cover Epic Universe since I am waiting for that to open before going to Universal. I am in my 'pre-planning' stage. That bit about bags and drinks is helpful. Definitely plan on staying at a resort for sure and a big reason is that early access into the parks.
Only 60 days for our next wdw and universal Orlando trip!! Can’t wait!!

Very informative, as I'm more familiar with WDW than Universal, but considering Universal in a year or two.
If you want the ultimate Universal Halloween experience there is guided tour, at an extra cost, and is worthwhile. Our group of six had a personal guide who let us bypass all the lines and we saw all 9 haunted houses.
Another thing, the single rider line for Hagrid's can and usually is longer than the wait in the main line
The express pass being expensive is what makes it work so well. Less people buy it because they can't afford it or don't feel like it's wise to pay for it. Because less people will buy it, less people will be in the line. Also, if Hagrid's was on Express, many people who don't want to buy it will suddenly think it's a good value and the Express lines for the other rides will get longer cause more people will get it (again, because they now find it a worthy value).
An absolute must do for kids and adults alike that most people just walk by without thinking is Camp Jurassic! You have to explore the caverns and enjoy some great A/C while walking through a literal "jungle" gym.
Funnily enough, I just got back from one. But I'm pumped all the same.

You missed one key piece of information about the Rising Star Karaoke Club. It is Karaoke where you sing with a Live band. You got a guitar, bass, drum, keyboards and 3 background singers. And they sound like they came off the recording but it is all live. The most fun Karaoke I have ever tried.
Meet a velociraptor is not actually in the discovery center. It's next to River Adventure.
On a hot day, go explore the caves in camp jurassic.
In studios, do NOT miss the shows. Horror makeup show is not scary. It's really funny. Bourne stuntacular is incredible. Animal actors is really cute and also funny.

Do you ever attend or cover Horror Nights?? I would love to see something on that, we’re going to the one in Orlando for the first time this year! We’ve gone to the one in Hollywood a bunch but we were a little lost/unsure of some things when planning for Orlando’s HHN
I’m looking at staying in July 2025 before UK schools break up. Just checked the hotel prices, it’s actually cheaper to stay onsite at a value Universal hotel ($225 per nite) and pay the additional $350 unlimited park pass per day than the hotels that have it included, the cheapest I found being Hard Rock at $850 per nite.

That’s weird to hear cuz the only time I’ve ridden hagrid’s there was definitely another faster moving line separate from the main one.
I think that is single rider?
Once agian from someone who lives in tampa goibg to disney or universal pack some cash and your debit card maybe wear sun glasses or a hat but ive been going for 15 years or more and nevwr needed amything else its crazy and dont buy anything but maybe lunch from the park eat and dinner everything off park then come back if u want we use to show up at opening eat lunch ride rides till 3pm go back to hotel take nap for 2 hours then go back to said universal or disney
This will be my wife and I first visit to universal Orlando. We’re staying at the sapphire falls resort. I’m not a ride fan of big dizzy rides like my wife is. We’re not sure if we’re going to the parks. Any tips or n must do things for a 50 year old married couple?

How to book rides in Universal:
1) get in line.
For fast pass 1) buy express pass or stay in Hardrock/Portofino/Royal Pacific 2) get in line.
The fat that this is note worth is a damning indictment of other's line systems.

11:23 it’s not that bad. Disney is worse logistically. Literally you’ll spend as much time parking at Hollywood studios than you do at universal… and you’ll spend WAY more time at TCC/MK than it takes to get into universal. (Animal Kingdom is huge; Epcot you walk forever to get to anything once you are in… you’re over-exaggerating, DFB)
Parking deck is a breeze. Don’t waste money on premier parking. (If you get annual pass, you have to pay for 1 day of parking to activate free UOAP parking… UNLESS you enter after 6pm your first time).
Staying onsite is easiest.
Also, unless I didn’t hear it, when getting express passes with RP, Portofino, or Hard Rock, for 1 night = 2 days of unlimited express. (Check in date + check out date)
Nah. I'm a UOAP and can vouch for this it's a long trek from parking to the front gate of IoA. I don't see how you can disagree with that and then compare it to being inside a park and walking to different sections

Universal is Objectively smaller between City Walk, Islands (110 acres) and Studios (108 acres).
Epcot itself is 300 acres. MK is a 107 acres, but take into account the TCC. Much worse and longer to get through than studios security.
You will never convince me it’s less walking at Disney.

I'm just wondering, what's the best strategy to arrange an Uber to come and pick you up from Universal's rideshare area?
Rideshares will actually drop you off on the fifth floor of the north parking garage. So you’ll set up your ride like normal, but just keep in mind that it’s still gonna be a bit of a walk before you reach either of the park - meaning you’ll still want to factor in that extra travel time!
