One of your cards is severely heating. Maybe replace thermal paste and check the mount. Along with dust removal. If it’s the liquid one, you may also be having a failing pump
man, what version of amd software d u have? i cant found crossfire setting in 23.4.1 when have 2 card rx580 and some times ago i have that setting when use it in 2020year. Help me pls if u know
Oh Boy, for one, you have to make sure your Motherboard supports it properly. You will need two PCIex16 slots that run at 8x/8x/4x, many are just 16x/0. The only MoBo that support Crossfire Technology are MSi ACE and Godlike Series. Some Asus do as well but only the higher end ones. Have to make sure thr Manufacturers have the license to support it as well. That's why I always stick with MSi ACE or Godlike Mobo, they may be $1000 but for what I do and many others do, that is the only option.
I’m pretty sure my Strix X570-E is capable of Crossfire Running the cards at PCIe x8/x8 right now. As I mentioned, MGPU is on. GPU-Z is also saying Crossfire enabled. But none of the tests are using second GPU.
@Mayank Malik it will show regardless, yes, but the MoBo has to have the license itself to properly use the X-Fire technology. Otherwise, only one GPU will be used in conjuction with each other for certain Applications.
@Mayank Malik okay. Did you change your BIOS setting to 8x/8x/4x? You also need to check if both slots support the Gen4 speeds as well. The 6900XT cards/ series use Gen4 speeds. So check that, otherwise, Crossfire would only work with the 5700XT cards/ series. Other thing you can check is the your M.2 slots and make sure they don't interfere with the PCIe lanes used for the PCIe spots. Another thing, only select games and applications can use the Crossfire Technology, so barely anything LoL. I used it for Video Editng Applications and work phenomenal. You can only use to benchmark in 3D Mark and for testing purposes.
Any update? I just installed a 6600xt and 6700xt on asus tuf gaming x570 wifi it works but no mGPU option I can only select between GPU 1 and 2. Tried GTA IV and no utilization from the 6600xt. Hardware details in AMD adrenaline software show x16 for the 6700xt and x4 for the 6600xt. In the bios is specifically says not to use x8x8 PCIE mode when using video cards. Both nvme slots are taken. Ryzen 5950x, 32gb ram. Please reply brother
@@BoxerMuscleMilk I tried 8x8 mode but then I didnt see the bus type info in the adrenaline hardware details. Whats up with that? Did some quick research and people suggest doing the DDU method. But Why should I use DDU when my current software already recognizes the second GPU? *** My main problem is I do not see mGPU option slider in my Adrenalin software***
@narutofanz4 not sure. I haven't tried it since then and I no longer have this PC. Maybe they want the GPUs to be the same like how NVidia requires to have the same GPU for SLI. Sorry!
@@BoxerMuscleMilk how do you take care of the heat problem? i'm planning on running 6900xt xfire, but i still haven't got a plan for the heat dissipation yet.

Those junction temp. Undervolt your card.
One is dying the other is chill
How much more fps does that gave you?
would I be silly to buy another 6700xt and waterblock and add it to my machine? I keep seeing them used with broken fans etc for like 230
I just bought one from a miner for 250😂

Bro where is crossfire setting now?
It might be gone now but it took me a lot of configuration and your MoBo also has to support it/ have the license for it.
I have two 6900 XTs, enabled MGPU in Radeon Software, but GPU-z and 3DMark are only utilising 1st GPU.
Any specific settings to look for?

The motherboard has CrossfireX certification. It even says in the Manual. 🤷🏻♂️

Who is better xfx merc or sapphire nitro for rx 6900xt ?
Saphire nitro is the Most powerful Edition. I got it
@@lukasstiftner1167in the test merc have a good temp !
Xfx it's also good but the Nitro+ 👌🏻it's on point very good heat dissipation
I see now why you repaisted the Toxic. I watched that video you did a good job.
Yes, due to the naturally running high clock speeds, this thing stays pretty warm so good idea to do it minimum once a year for sure.

I think you need to enable 8x and 8x as it won't work correctly. Also have to make sure your MoBo also supports Crossfire/ SLI.
