- Having been billed as the most wild and open driver’s market for years, 2024’s silly season has gone surprisingly quiet. Since Sergio Perez got a contract extension on the 9th of June, not a lot has happened. With that top seat shut off, many people thought there would be a flurry of announcements as every driver realised that a space at one of the top teams on the grid was off the table. Instead, Carlos Sainz has become the trigger for the drivers market with every team seeming to leave a space open just in case they can tempt him to join them for 2025. Thankfully, the Austrian Grand Prix has featured a flurry of activity and today I’ll fill you in on all the movements, some more shocking than others, so don’t go anywhere.

To improve the quality of the racing let the top 3 or four teams stick to a budget cap. And give the slower teams more money and testing time. It’s the only way to possibly let the lower teams move up and compete for podium’s and wins.
I think Carlos needs to forget about Williams. Audi has way more upside after 1 season in F1. Maybe he wants Nico's seat?😅

i was in support of danica i didn’t think sky needed to terminate her contract after i watching the miami gp but the new information i have learned about her through this video has leaded to be more persuaded to the idea of her contract being terminated
She wasn’t bad but she wasn’t good. I think people were giving her a little too much shit about her reminding everyone she use to drive in NASCAR but she did do it a little too much. Palmer and Coulthard do it a bit on F1TV. She’s just ignorant and actually dumb. She’s so sheltered and unknowledgeable about so many things that she’ll listen to the most interesting conspiracy she can hear and latch on to it.

I’d like to know who started the asinine rumour that Max would sign with Mercedes! All thing being equal, with their performance as of lately, they’ll be hard pressed to sign a top tier driver. I think it’s safe to say that Mercedes is going to be at the back of the stronger teams, at least until the new regs come in at best
I have respect for Danica. She has the right her opinions, even if they differ from the mainstream.

Ok... Just consider one tiny thing for me. Taking note of just how many nutty conspiracy theories have totally been proven true over the last several years, what if Danica is right? I'm not saying she's right, but I'm saying there have to be allowances for the chance that her opinion is proven right at a future date. Believing anything about the Narrative at face value these days is a pretty tall risk.
