Even though Terence McKenna died April 3, 2000 his thoughts are still viable today, what may have changed is our own minds and our ability to further process what he may have said.
“In the province of the mind, what one believes to be true is true or becomes true, within certain limits to be found experientially and experimentally. These limits are further beliefs to be transcended. In the mind, there are no limits... In the province of connected minds, what the network believes to be true, either is true or becomes true within certain limits to be found experientially and experimentally. These limits are further beliefs to be transcended. In the network's mind there are no limits.”

Yes in deed, his wider view, use of language, and references to James Joyce and Herman Melville’s Moby Dick had me reading both author’s works.
As Terence brother Denis has been quoted, ‘the bigger the bonfire the more darkness is revealed'.

What Terence McKenna said in 1996 fits our time today, if anything regression may be more of a notice to our current dilemma.
5:36 Do You Think You Are Repeating The Life Styles And Algorithms Of Your Parents And Grandparents...Or Do You Feel Like You'e stepped To The Front Of The Train Of Human Evolution”
I had left my parents and family at age 18 to begin my own novel. It was a sharp, well-defined, and clear separation; it began page one of my novel.
‘The Train Of Human Evolution’ is linear and limited to an analogy of a train and tracks. Quantum mechanics and the results of John Bell’s Theorem have changed expectation.
Thank you again for posting these talks by Terence McKenna 👍

I was born in the mid 1940’s with what is now described as autism and did not speak until age three, and took three years to reach the second grade in middle school.
I had not developed the masks and thespian skills for school or being with groups of people. I was not treated well by family and siblings and left home.
By my mid 20’s my prefrontal cortex was fully developed and both reading and writing skills were ready to utilized. Also I learned thespian skills to be with others, if only for short periods of time.
By 1965 and 1966 I had an opportunity catch the wind to what was happening in San Francisco before its notoriety and soon to crash from a demise of expectation. "San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair)” Song by The Mamas & the Papas)".
Even so there were enough trails and insight abound from people like Terence McKenna and others to forge further trails to seek and explore.

it is true that culture tries to clomp things together, but that is the nature of things, oneness, but you are right in that individuality is important for a functioning society, the diffrences is the streghnt, if everyone's uniqueness was unleached to it's potential it will create a cohesive society, and that is order in it's finest way, working togeher thru our uniqueness.

With all respect for this powerful mind, he mistakes that “the word was merged with flesh” and the result was human meets divinity in some way. To clarify the scripture reads “the word was MADE flesh”. Thinking this over one realizes that the word, the cosmic language model, might be understood at least on this planet as DNA, which is a language that creates the “proteins” that literally construct living creatures, including of course human beings. It implies the infamous intelligent design hypothesis of Creation. I find this compelling even though my belief in the supernatural has been sleeping for five decades or more. What now? Thanks as always Terrance.

Thank you (and no music!). Look into the history of the "digging stick" (among the very oldest human artifacts) with which anthropoid females dug up tasty roots and which they began to incise with symbols---perhaps at first just notch-numbers for days of a plant cycle, moon cycle and later in larger calendric patterns. The fruits of these measurements, noticing of patterns and understandings, must have given the stick a "magical" authority (which in fact lay with the female's experiential expertise) so that over time it became the "rod" or "scepter" of power itself...

They have to create the stuff from the past to sound like it's from a different time or it would sound like when it was really made. On demand in current times. It creates the illusions of time which supports the illusion of existance. As well as the illusions clones I summon existed before I summoned them an stuff like that
