      Beauden Barrett haha yea man I've been lifting for a few years and straight up neglected legs. I knew for many reasons I couldn't keep doing it. I can't even rep 225 and I do that on bench for a few. Thanks for that advice I think I'll do that.

    I’ve been doing incline bench press for just a week and wife already notices the difference. She says I look a lot broader in shoulders and chest area. I also find it more challenging than regular press

    When I first started lifting I only would incline press since it just felt a lot more comfortable. Now I do mostly flat but I've noticed my upper chest is a lot more developed because of my history with incline

    Best 4 chest exercises (in my opinion)
    1. Flat Bench
    2. Incline Bench
    3. Weighted Dip
    4. Any type of fly, DB fly, Cable crossover, pec deck, etc

    100% agree. If your not doing *INCLINE BENCH* start incorporating it into your workout. Great movement for building upper pec area....

    Best way to do it: flat bench for strength, incline for reps. Don't use a shit ton of energy for flat bench by doing lower reps and then after flat bench get on incline and just start going at it

      Mason Steele what rep range would you use for incline? I know it’ll be higher for hypertrophy, also would you keep the weight the same throughout or go lower/higher with each incline set

    I’ve heard so many people say the incline will make your flat bench stronger. The flat bench is just the go to for most people. I prefer incline though.

    I do incline and have been doing it for the past 6 months my weights have gone up quicker, my form aswell and my max on both flat and incline are the same.. also my chest has grown more then it would on flat! Highly reccomend incline for compoun and flat dumbell for tricep and lower pec😊

    Interesting insight Brad. I think Both are essential but I've never thought of solely training on Incline. Might try it in a few weeks Upper chest is one of my weakestareas.

    I did this exact same thing. I noticed I wasn’t progressing as much as I should. I did incline for a month and a half. I can now do 300 lbs for 10 reps and 315 lbs for 8 reps. I switched back to incline Im working with 315 x 5 and 300 x 5.

      Yes for me personally I always do that on my workout 1 session. 1: Flat barbell bench 2: Incline barbell press 3: Cable cross. In my second session I do the same just with dumbells so 1: Flat dumbell press 2: Incline dumbell press and 3: A weird movement i learned from athlean X

      I used to do incline after flat but for a few months I've been doing incline before flat and I get a much better workout in my chest.

      Mr Blacky I do 2 chest sessions Per week. 1st sesh: 1: Flat BB Bench 2: incline DB Bench 3: incline Flyes super set with incline close grip DB press 4: Pec Deck
      2nd sesh: 1: Incline BB Bench 2: incline DB Bench using slow negatives and superset with incline flyes 3: decline cable cross over focusing on squeeze and stretch

    I never went hard on incline but my brother was calling me a bitch one day and ended up maxing at 300lbs on incline. So now I do it a lot more but usually never go over 250.

    yo can someone explain to me why im so weak on incline press. my flat bench is 185 and my incline dumbell press is not too bad. on average i do my working sets with 45 or 50s but for some reason when i do incline bench i struggle with 95 lb. I don't know if its my form or something.
