- Mada Saitama 2000 is filled with not only one of the tightest charts around, but also actual railway lore and a ton of Morse signals.
Cramming all that into one video was probably a mistake, though. - Ігри
Madasaitama 2000 teaches us a valuable lesson: don't sleep in a train ride
Lol
yes. besides, you can always railfan their.
This song accurately represents the anxiety missing your stop
I remember sleeping on the bus otw home only to wake up paying for an expensive ass ticket and seeing a cow greet me at the bus stop
this was probably the coolest lyric/translation video i have seen yet.
2000 IQ song right here.
indeed
I always wondered why they always talked about trains...
In 1:25, the whispering voice sample reads as "埼玉じゃない!" which means "It's not Saitama!" because the character already passed out from the said city while he was riding on an unstoppable train that has been running.

Me listening to this for the first time: This sounds really cool!
Me after playing the Oni chart: My fingers hurt, thank you Namco.
This song is probably my favorite from the 2000 series, it is super cool and the lyrics sure make it better! Thank you for this video.
So basically, this dude slept passed his train destination
I didnt know this song is actually this deep...
I thought its just funny saitama song parody with overly tryhard EDM
EDM? How
i am SO obsessed with this.
whenever this song comes up in t-aiko rank, i always feel so terrified and end up losing, but damn this song is so cool
Ah, today I learned that Japanese has its own separate morse code signs.
Heya, caught sight of one of your videos and recognized that you made what might've been my favorite RDSRT level to play, so had to come check out what you've got - there may only be a couple here but they're both really cool!
So, what does it mean when at the top (and at the beginning) you cycle through the titles for the Saitama, Kita Saitama, Mata Saitama, and Mada Saitama songs?
Glad you asked! They're just japanese for the title of the songs shown below. Mada Saitama is the fourth 'Saitama song' in the 2000 series, and that already gives it much identity because Saitama and Kita Saitama 2000(and the 2000 series as a whole) is pretty much one of the most representative songs in Taiko no Tatsujin.
And a bit more elaboration on 1:19: Mada Saitama has a forked path that's deteremined by how well you do at the Kat rush(1:08~), and one of the two possible paths sequentially give you the highlight patterns of Saitama->Kita->Mata, which is pretty neat because it's what the songs are known for and is pretty much engraved into almost every veteran player as muscle memory
Right, I can read the titles and get how the branching path mechanics work, I just didn't get the bit about "highlight patterns". So what you mean is, if you succeed in the challenge section, what follows is that famous "don kat don-don-kat don-dodokat-don-kat-don-dodokat" pattern from the chorus of Saitama 2000, and so on?
Also at the beginning when you show all the previous Saitamas, is the song including some nods to them as well, or is that just something you thought would be a good way to start off the video?
@@David08225 Right! The Gogotime section includes the infamous Saitama pattern, Kita Saitama's infamously tricky D K D K D DKK D DK KD D K etc part, and Mata's Gogotime. This is also kind of a nod to Mata Saitama since that chart also includes said Saitama and Kita's pattern inside.
Aside from that there's no relevant relation between any of them, I just thought it'd look cool showing all the Saitama songs played in the version they were first released as (AC 6, PSP, AC 14) :P
Also glad you enjoy my microsized channel! I would def want to make more videos about things i like, if only i had the time to do so...
Ah, I see, good explanations. That's pretty cool, almost like a Saitama remix. There's a lot of really good attention to detail in this analysis, and I'd certainly like to be able to edit videos nearly this well, here's hoping you can find the time to put out some more content eventually!
Edit: Seeing some Mada Saitama gameplay much later, I think I realized that the "Saitama medley" pattern is actually the default for the song, meaning it's given to you if you _fail_ the kata rush challenge. When you succeed and move up to the Master track it seems like you're actually given something even harder instead.
@asdcorf idk but what I DO know is its name is in reference to the Donca Matic, which is a rhythm machine made by Korg
I go back to this video so much. It's such a creative music video, and watching this a lot has solidified this as my favourite 2000 song in the series
This song represent my commute through the Tobu Skytree line and transbording to Tobu Nikko Line.
Great video! This is so well done! Had no idea the song was so goofy.
I kept thinking about this song when I had to ride a subway train all by myself for the first time today
That 'I CAN'T RETURN' is creepy as hell
Quite disturbing, but this song slaps harder
True
dang! this is so cool! why have i only seen this now!!
This is awesome.
This song feels more powerful than Shimedore 2000+
@OzonekPL Which is what makes it so epic

Yes fellow person from the future of music video.
Does anyone know what exactly you have to do to unlock it in rythmic adventure 2? I have searched for hours and found nothing
The station the main character is supposed to go to is Kasukabe, not Kita-Kasukabe.
coolest lyric video what the hell
THIS IS SO IMPRESSIVE NOT LYING, KINDA SIMPLE BUT SO IMPRESSIVE
Interesting song..
i remember playing tnt rhythm fest on nintendo and there was missions to complete to finish the game
in one of the missions i saw katsu chan with his lines saying "i got stuck on a train ride bc i overslept on my stop" could katsu chan be the person stuck on the train? also in 1:08 they used the note ka as the morse code. might connect the lore of katsu chan and our screaming man here but bro got a much different voice then katsu here
this video is making me choke on information ;u;
This shit is a banger
I think...
The guy is delusional which he's confused about timetables on when to get off the train
Yukari Yakumo get out of here
He dozed off in the train, wakes up to a rail bridge on sight. He ended up on Kosagoe, more than 30 stations past his intended destination. Kasukabe.
Had he dozed there any longer, he would have ended up being sent awake by train staff on Shin-Fujiwara.
Do this but with the other 2000 songs
Waching this in youtube long 💀
You should make more tbh
Hey i’m making an osu map for this, can I use this vid as background? it’s really cool and fitting

@Harlow Holman arigato senpai
Though the former Sampling Masters have long left namco, LindaAI-CUE is still keeping their style music alive within BANDAI NAMCO Studios Inc., and I will commend him eternally for this. I guess learning a lot from them in his earliest days at namco (when X-DAY2 came out) definitely shaped his music for the years to come...
Edit: On that note, search up music by the Sampling Masters and you may be able to find more, both old and new. Things like their Ridge Racer work (Rotterdam Nation, Dr. Mad's Gone, Nitro Witch), X-DAY or even F/A (AKA Fighter & Attacker, one of Shinji Hosoe's earliest works), the Rhythm Jigoku releases, or even songs like Rotter Tarmination which is a fellow Taiko no Tatsujin song by the aforementioned Hosoe (MEGATEN/Sampling Masters MEGA).
Okay so...
The translations in the beginning are kinda wrong. instead it says:
From Tokyo to my Kyoko

there's some guy who "literally" get lost due to sleeping while taking a train...
A person who sleeps in a train and misses his stop and ends up in Kosagoe Station instead of Kita-Katsukabe.

And if you're referring to the chart analysis, It's from 1:09 to 1:43.
@@A91nrehtuoS All it does is point at names. Frankly, that means nothing to people who have never been to Japan. Or have never been on a train for that matter.
@@kavinaderrow3269 No, I'm referring to the one up.
