Do you “go to bank” or “go to the bank”? Watch this lesson to learn and engage with practical English vocabulary, and to increase your conversational accuracy. After you watch the video and repeat the examples in it, make your own original sentences in the comments. I used to go swimming after my work before to go home. Now I'm unemployed and I haven't to go to work. I have no money for swimming pool, but I still can go for a walk or on a date or even to the toilet.
Thank you sir 🙏
You’re welcome. :)
🎉❤
Muito bom! 👏👏👏
Bonjour et merci pour la vidéo 👍
Hello and you're welcome! :) Thanks for watching. Merci!
A vital lesson as usual. I just got one inquiry I hope you reply to me about: through the video, you uttered these two related sentences: " It has been a long time since I have been on a vacation"
The question goes as follows, can we, sir, use the present perfect both before and after the time adverbial: SINCE ???
I mean, according to our grammar books, we have always learnt that we have to use the PRESENT PERFECT before SINCE and the PAST SIMPLE after it. I am so keen on English grammar, so this use really caught my attention. Would you please explain this usage to me?
Thanks for clicking😁
I mean, thanks in advance❤
Where is the quiz link?
thank you so much.
but, what's the difference between "go on vacation" and "go on a vacation"?
👍🇵🇪
Hi! Is it correct to say: It has been a long time since I have been on vacation??? It should be: since I was on vacation. Am I right?
Hi Alex, how is it going?
Not too bad. Getting ready to go to bed over here and thinking about teaching tomorrow. :) Hope you're doing well!
