I'm beginner , I think that PHRASAL VERBS are very used by Native English Speaker , we the rookies not pay attenttion to this phrasal verbs them are very important to improve all our ENGLISH
As a native English speaker this video is fascinating! Didn't know if it would be helpful to add that "back up" can also mean "wait, let's go back to what you/I were saying a second/minute ago." It's usually not just "back up" in that case, though, usually it's something like, "Wait, back up," if someone said something remarkable that you want to be the new topic of conversation (usually if you didn't notice they'd said it for a few moments - if you noticed immediately it would probably be, "Wait, hold up"). Alternately, if you're telling a story or giving a presentation on a topic, and you want to circle back to something you'd said earlier, you might say, "Let's back up for a moment." "Back up" and "backing up" is also common terminology for putting a car in reverse.
