    Another good example of "can't help" is from an Elvis Presley's song: "But I can't help falling in love with you " :)
    And a grammar rule: "can't help" is always followed by ING verbs (gerunds), like here we have "fall(ING)"

    It seems like you are speaking for me and only me)))). I repeated " laughing" and I was shaking head when you remembered about repeating the "should" phrases after you. You are really great teacher with great experience. (By the way I don't know how to use the(?) articles... in addition to all other things)

    Dear Prof I was wondering if I might dare to ask you a question ? Which is the best between these two sentences: You shoudn't have to do that or You shouldn't have done that Thank you. A

      Both are fine, but refer to different times. "You shouldn't have to do that" is present, and "You shouldn't have done that" is past. (the person did something, and you're scolding them)
