Not sure which is gonna be more helpful on the track (kidding), but Mike’s got all sorts of surprises in recovered and rebuilt Cadillac CTS-V. Where I come from if you jump the lights or even arm, you forfeit the race.
Small jump by the CTSV was deserved, also dude has some good car control sliding it around at the end, he wasn't lying he knows how to drift it!

Constant jumps makes these episodes frustrating to watch, we just want a fair race to see which car is quicker. reminds me of that show Pinks back in the day

They need to get one of those lights to turn on, a bright flashlight or something. The hand waving and drops are like ehhhhh. I guess it does add to the content tho, having these funny sloppy starts. Makes it more interesting.

@@mikedipisa2371 First of all chase is a race is notstreet racing law, That is some bullshit millennials thought of when they figured out they can’t win heads up! I will tell you why someone would go if their opponent jumped! When you are sitting on the line getting ready to race there are so many more things to pay attention too other than your opponent, And secondly some drivers get tunnel vision blocking everything else out except for the starter!
The guy with the CTS-V still has some work to do on his launch, but he's a gamer! That last race had me rolling haha.

The Cadillac CTS-V Wagon is one of the greatest American cars ever made! Sad that it was so short lived but when i get the rare occasion of seeing one it always makes me smile and giggle like a little kid! 😬

Chase is a race. I honestly think on that surface, with a tree, they would finish side by side.
Id love to see it on the tree with no shenanigans.. V seems to pull up top a little bit though. Would be super close
That Cadillac had less grip and spun over 200ft, still pulled after the mustang creeped up from a better launch. at the strip the Cadillac is calling it all day long. Plus you know for a fact that fox is pushing north of 600whp. A 408 carbed build like that always has a bare minimum of 600wheel.
@@saltyfloridaman7163 thing is, they both spun on that last race. The V has the issue of requiring more driving than the Fox, so I still think it'd be side by side at tne line.

Fox body jumped by like a whole second in the first race, 3rd race the caddy was a split second early and errybody crying about it. The Caddy is faster

I was definitely going for the stang!!! This match basically came down to who was first to jump off the line then there was no catching up and they were equally matched enough to not need any lengths just heads up all the way!! Good video!!

came across a manual 6 speed CTS-V wagon last week, and that's in the Netherlands incredibly rare in the US but here... I was blown away when I asked the owner if it was manual!

No way that fox runs high 8.s/ low9s like the owner claimed!
On gas I think it could. But if he wasn't spraying it (and it didn't look like he was. No nitrous purge plus the way he spoke about it) then no it won't run a high 8. I was hoping that he was gonna purge the nitrous and use it in the last race.
To get that thing into the 8's it must be a big shot looked like a good 11 second car at best

500 horse fox is a low 10 sec whip, that's a 408 so it's doing 500 with no Nitrous, definitely can see an 8 with a decent shot
