Lol how it's really done is a foxbody with a 351C mated to a liberty 5 speed and yeah it revs out to 10600 while being manually shifted like glass. Look up that car, that's the "real Mccoy "
I’m not going call this a clean Fox body by any means. Lipstick on a pig is still a pig. Through the video the paint looks nice. But that doesn’t give you a real good indicator of how it looks. The Coyote swap has been done 1 trillion times and everybody’s got a Maximum Motorsport suspension. I spent over $20,000 on my full Brembo brake package with six piston front calipers and four piston rear, full Maximum Motorsport suspension and chassis components. They are the most tried in true player in the game for this car so of course it’s the go to. But the interior on this car looks like a Mexican machine that had work done in Tijuana. The black headliner looks awful. The Pep Boys steering wheel and the standard Holly dash look super cheap. When they first open the driver door, you could see all the scratches in the plastic around the door frame. And if you can afford to put that kind of money into your paint and engine and suspension, you should’ve dropped a couple bucks into your interior and finished it off. Smooth out the panels of the engine bay but when you open the trunk, you didn’t bother smoothing out the panels under the carpet, but you showed it off anyway, and I don’t get it. I’m not sure why they went the route of removing the stock bumper bar with the impact absorber removed on a street driven car in place for the Steeda bar. It’s not a show car and it’s not a track only car. If it gets bumped, that means there’s a good chance of significant damage to the chassis engine compartment with a minor impact. They’re just a lot of poor decisions made on this not quite exceptional car. You smoothed over the cow and removed the windshield wipers, but you didn’t go all the way and put custom glass in the windshield and smooth out the framework around the windshield to give it that cohesive look. so many overlook details
It is. Same reason the pushrod engines sound so good too. The mufflers further away from the bumper with those tailpipes is a great combination harmonically.
They really are. I’ve always been a Chevy guy, dad always had GM hot rods growing up. I’m in the market for a new car and the dealership talked me into driving a 19 GT they had took in on trade the other day and now I’m shopping for a Coyote Mustang.
People would Rev the old 4v to 8500 rpm once built with aftermarket ecu like this car has. You should hear what THAT sounds like. Similar but even better
Before even ripping on it, the revs while sitting still were glorious. I have never heard a Coyote sound so good. Usually the kids put on the absolute loudest POS exhaust they can. Thank you so much for putting in the effort to dial in the exhaust.
The coyote sounds better in the older cars especially compared to the s550s and on. Even the s197 5.0 sounds better than the s550s it's the exhaust routing...this one also has a quality exhaust l louder isn't better. Most of the s550 crowd don't get it. I love 15-17 s550s but the s550 crowd keeps me away from them lol
I've owned 6 foxbodys in my life and now own a 2016 s550 mustang gt....and I feel this is the MOST BEAUTIFUL, DESIRABLE MUSTANG I'VE EVER SEEN...rarely have I seen a mustang I would be so protective of that I would be nervous to drive it.❤👍🏿...CONGRATULATIONS
@drunkinmaster1 no it's the fact it's in an older car with better exhaust routing..the s550 sounds like garbage with straight pipes and raspy ass sounding exhaust. It sounds significantly better in the older cars pre 2015 ecsp pre 2005.
As a Honda guy… the RPM and locked Variable Timing is so interesting. We do this a lot based on the setup. Great job really interesting to see a V8 with higher RPM and powerband. Well done!
Ford has had high revving v8s since the 90s lol...the coyote is just a modern evolution of that with more tech. The old 4v didn't have vct like coyotes but they Rev to 7000 stock and with aftermarket ecu they can rev higher a built one like this could easily turn 8500 rpm...
V8’s have been tuned up with big overlap cams, free flowing heads, intake manifold, high compression, long tubes, etc. for decades. This goes back to drag racing in the 60’s
This is by far the best I’ve ever heard a Coyote sound!! And it’s in one of my most beloved cars, the Fox body. Seeing those interior shots really made me miss my ‘93 so much more. The paint, the stance, the pipes, the air induction, the rims, everything was absolutely perfect. Great build!!
So it's possible to make a Coyote that isn't obnoxiously loud 👏 It sounds great, and the build is right up my alley, being a high RPM road car that gives it the personality of a bike. Must be a real treat to flog around some curves.

Me too...money makes people ruin good cars it also makes them waste good cars cuz they "may be worth alot someday" that shit is the cancer of car culture. Stop making every decision off of dollars and cents. This is 10000000000x cooler than any ls swap Ford ever in existence. I hate ls swap ford's there's too many nice Ford power plants to go with there's no excuse for going ls and it's honestly not that much cheaper all in going into a ford so that's a false bs statement ppl just blindly repeat. Anyone who's truly built both ls and ford platforms will tell you price isn't much different all in one way or the other. Some stuff costs more for one while other stuff costs more on the other everyone gets hung up on the fact cams cost more you can also make a ton of power with stock cams lol.
Great video BrotherTom!! Truly amazing build! Hands down one of the best Coyote Swapped Fox's I've seen!! Mannn can't say enough good things about Lochness!! 💯👊🏾
Really clean but as a mustang enthusiast I can 100% say that the whole body kit is cobra other than the wing and I’d put money on it being a cervini kit. Side skirts and front fender extensions on a Gt have a vent style opening on them
I ran 4.56 Richmonds in my 2007 Mustang GT 4.6l procharged/supercharged at around 500whp. It was NUTS! I ran it for about 3 months, then returned to 3.92's. It was just too much for a daily driver. I'm on 5.38's in my 2020 Wrangler on 37'' tires and have broken the rear twice offroad. The last time, they just put in a completely new rear axle. You have to be careful with that in a stock D44. I learned the hard way lol. I was waiting for a cop to pop out somewhere. That's why I had to get rid of mine. I was about to lose my license for LIFE.
I love these tiny little cars, mine was or my ex wife was that same color blue, notch back 5 speed 1988 brand new right off the dealership lot..we loved it.
This is how a Foxbody is done. One of the cleanest builds I've seen. And there are tons of clean builds.
Theyre done however the builder does it lol
Car people always say everything is “clean.” It doesn’t even seem to really mean anything lol.

This is absolutely THE BEST SOUNDING COYOTE I've ever heard in my life.😎👍🏿
I agree! It sounds so good!
They always sound better in the older cars weather it's a fox or sn. I think it has something to do with the exhaust routing
It is. Same reason the pushrod engines sound so good too. The mufflers further away from the bumper with those tailpipes is a great combination harmonically.

The idle in this just doesn't sound as cool to me
Nice fox. Best part is it doesn’t sound like a typical coyote that’s unpleasant on the ears. Sounds badass
I agree! Even when you’re not trying this thing still sounds like a race car!
Long tube headers and an x-pipe will do that

Fox body lite, and a 8500 rpm screaming coyote? That’s a BEAST!
The coyote actually lightens it even more plus all the aftermarket parts it has to shed weight its Def lower weight than a stock fox gt.

These cars are time machines! Once you get in them you are taken back to the 90's
It's because of the older exhaust routing also the guy has a quality exhaust on it not the loudest possible exhaust like most newer 5.0 owners do.

As a true ford guy thanks for not doing a gay ass LS swap in this beautiful fox like so many people do nowadays cause it’s a “ cheaper “ route
Same i agree so heavily
This thing is perfect 👌 it looks like a blast. You don’t need 1000hp to have fun.
That paint is beautiful
Great video BrotherTom!! Truly amazing build! Hands down one of the best Coyote Swapped Fox's I've seen!! Mannn can't say enough good things about Lochness!! 💯👊🏾
This one definitely has the show and GO! Thank you for always watching and supporting the channel! Appreciate you!
That's a very nice looking car. I have always really like the fox body. The grey on grey work so well.
Soon as I seen the engine I liked the video I could tell this one would be a maniac
Really clean but as a mustang enthusiast I can 100% say that the whole body kit is cobra other than the wing and I’d put money on it being a cervini kit. Side skirts and front fender extensions on a Gt have a vent style opening on them
The coyote sounds beautiful
That was my first car and now my dream car. I miss it so bad
This is a sick foxbody. I've come to love them from them being my #1 rival back in the day. Kswap civic vs the foxbody world.
Probably the only mustang I would drive. Car is nice AF
Not a huge mustang fan but I really like this build.
This thing is sick. Would much prefer to have a car like this than a modern mustang
Beautiful build. Only think I'd change are the seats
Sweet build!! This could be a cool panther build as well.....
I love the high revving coyote. There is nothing like a high rpm 8 cylinder
8500 rpm in a crossplane V8 sounds insane 🔥
Some of the big boy turbo cars run 10k rpm, it’s a very special song to hear.
I love these tiny little cars, mine was or my ex wife was that same color blue, notch back 5 speed 1988 brand new right off the dealership lot..we loved it.
Beautiful build
Coyote swapes are where its at bro. YOTE STYLE.
Beautiful car, love the whiskey makers mark chin spoiler.
