Am sorry that's not a box cutter you have in your hand it's called a Stanley knife it's for cutting caperts or lino for your bathroom floor a box cutter is very small fits into palm of your hand if go to craft store like hobby craft they sell box cutter

I agree with your partner, while you may have some ideas for your next home until you've lived in it a while and experienced the light at different times of day, the seasons also how you want to live and how the house works and it's character. Being impatient you could end up making costly mistakes or compromising your dream home. Creating a home isn't just about creating instagram pics, it's personal.
Its already looking gorgeous. Looking forward to seeing things progress. Colour samples-- you can also paint white brisol board and move it around the room to get an idea of what the paint looks at different times of the day

Best advice for paint samples- paint a big square on the back of wallpaper like a4 size - so that you can really see- and can move the piece from wall to wall. I found with Farrow and ball the lighting amd time of day makes such a difference to how the shades look! We did slipper satin on the hallway in the end as it’s a super bright light space! Enjoying this Reno series and to see what’s next xx

That’s not a box cutter infact buy an actual box cutter because that’s a Stanley knife and you will slice off your finger or tear thru your expensive goods hun that’s for cutting carpet Lino etc
