Julie I never thought about doing that to a basket I guess if I'd of been in the decorating mode to decorate my house instead of doing I do Christmas and fall stuff I would have probably thought about that because I like trash2treasure you do such a good job I love watching you I'm a 73 year old great-grandmother as I'm think I've told you before I'm home with my arm in a sling because I had to have shoulder surgery done and it's nice to be able to watch you guys you could also take a basket like that and go to the Dollar Store and get the little strips of wood and make little shelves in there like I've seen you guys do before and then you could put little things in there on the little shelf that would be so cute and change it out from season to season keep up the good works I love watching you
Julie I just found your channel and I'm hooked. You're amazing guuuuuuuurl. I love your vibe and your creativity . I don't agree with any of the negative comments. I love everything you made you gave me so much inspiration and I really need it lately tbh. Had a few losses of ppl I loved in the past few months and I have been depressed. And I am so unorganized in my craft room I just don't even want to bother. Which really upsets me because I don't know about you but my craft room is my happy place usually. I think you have such a unique eye for things and I just love that . Btw your cake pan diys WERE GORGEOUS. The camera doesn't always do justice to projects as most of us know and tbh I think they were so unique and original I never seen ANYONE use bunt pans like that. Kinda reminded me of belts they looked really cool 😎. And those stickers 🤯🤯🤯 AMAZEBALLS. I used window clings in a lot of things I made at Christmas for ornaments etc .. I think I will be using those iod stickers they are stuuuuunnning. You do you girl . I can't wait to order some. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us all. I appreciate you. ✌🏻❤️🙏🏻🇨🇦🥰😉
Still wintertime .. don't wanna rush life anymore than ready does ... haha...enjoying winter....retail rushes us ENOUGH through the seasons ... BUT enjoying yr video ...very cute / charming.. love it
Wow! The simple elegance of this design style is perfect! The IOD air dry clay and molds look so good. I'm definitely going to try them. You are an excellent teacher and next level designer 👏.
I thought it was su beautiful. At first I was wondering " how is she going to cover that " art deco " type design that went right around the clock. And you wowed me with the dry clay embellishments . Absolutely wonderful idea . It really suited it the project to a T. .
Everything is beautiful,I just smile when you change things , how many times I change things Especially when you make more than one and the more you make , there’s always that one that stands out, and then you have them all. It just haunts ya till you do .lol
I make doll house minis. I often use loose tea from tea bags (unused or used) to look like dirt" in my flower pots; it works great to fill in worn moss, too. Dollar store gravel or sand works well, too. I brush on a thick layer of glue and pat it on the flower pot surface. This is the first time I have seen your channel; I really enjoyed all of your projects.
Hi Julie, I work with stamps a lot and if you are going for the faded look, after you ink your stamp on a piece of paper first then you can stamp it to your project. By stamping most of the ink off on a scrap paper it will take off a majority of the ink. Just a tip for you 😊 it may save you time instead of sanding
Love them all but the birds you did with the cinnamon were my favorite they were gorgeous! My second favorite is the glass candle globes with the gold door knobs on the top. Outstanding creations!
So many cute projects! Your use of the white wax to tone down the brightness, adds such subtle style. Loved the use of the botanicals also. Simple but beautiful.
Hi Julie...I love your creativity. I've "stolen" several of your ideas to create items for my booth...and they are selling! Thank you for the baking soda/paint technique. I've used this to update a number of pieces from the early 2000's and they look great....especially with the white wax top coat. Just bought three IOD items from your store! Thank you!
Beautiful. I love your style. I live in Ireland so don’t have the variety of thrift / $ stores ( no Walmart or Michael’s either ) and craft supplies that you have in the States. Plus craft supplies here are a lot more expensive ! But I simply loved this video, you used simple everyday items I know I’ll be able to find / thrift and brought out the best in them without using a ton of extra supplies. Everything looked so high end, elegant and still rustic and vintage. You really inspired me. Thank you.
Very interesting techniques. You have a district style. Thank you for the inspiration and tutorials. I will admit cringing when you painted over that vintage clock, but diy-ing is all about what brings you joy!
👍👍👍👍👍 I have never seen this done. Not Nor have I thought of using the backside of a frame. I'm only a couple of minutes in and I have liked, subscribed and now commenting from just the first 2 projects. Rock on with your bad self, Miss Lady 🤙
Julie- Don’t forget to change your hashtags in the description of your video! This video is jam packed with so many cute ideas, just what I needed to get me motivated for spring designs. I’m going to keep my eye open for some canvas at the thrift store, or head to the hardware store. - Love the transfer on the one you created.
You are the absolute best crafter/diy, etc, I’m the world. I have never encountered such ease with things no one would ever buy out make over. I’m she impressed and will be addicted to your channel, Good bless you🙌😊🌷
I absolutely LOVED this video. I have to admit, I get bored sometimes when creators make videos with a bunch of projects I've already watched them do. Sometimes they are great reminders of projects you wanted to do but didn't have all of the materials for at the time. This video however made me feel like every project was brand new to me. The pacing was perfect and every project was absolutely beautiful. This is a wonderful advertisement for the products you sell as well. Perfection. 👏👏👏👏👏👏💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
So many cute projects and some are so simple but having the idea to do it. You have a great imagination. Thank you for sharing your mind/ideas with us.
I just left the goodwill with a birdhouse very similar!!!!! And have a riser in my stash, so excited to start working on mine!!!! Thanks for all your amazing ideas ❤
Never used botanical or any transfers at all. I love it!!! All of the projects were so fun and so cute. My favs, the bird and bird crotch, then the other clothes! I will be watching again so I can copy theses!!!!!
Julie, I absolutely love what the white wax does to your projects! I save the hem and seam part of fabrics, too. Any will work, but I like denim seams and hems the best All of your pieces are awesome !!
I have learned so much from your video. Wow such great ideas. I can’t decide my favorites. I would have never thought of these ideas -like taking a tiered piece apart and replacing with baskets. Really cute ideas.
You can purchase the IOD PRODUCTS, PAINT and home decor used in todays video on my website www.juliesdesignsandsigns.com

Amazing stuff. Loved this video.
Best video you’ve done! Thank you for such great ideas!
Love love love ❤️ 😍
Love it all.
I flatten my hot glue ridges with parchment and iron. I have a small one I use for sewing seams flat and a regular iron for larger areas. 👍🌻
Never tried transfer to fabric. You are very clever. Love your little extra touches.
Just seeing the words “for spring”, in the dead of January, helps just a tiny bit. 😌🌷
Beautiful repurposed items. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻

That canvas wood frame with the transfer! 😍 & the clock redo with the birds, french egg shell color and white wax! OMGosh!!
Adding the wood pieces to the roof of the birdhouse definitely upped it up a notch! You are so talented!
You are so talented at styling your projects.

Love the French country clock Julie
These are great. Not kitchy like lots of others and not the same old thing repeated.
I’m loving all of these projects. You have inspired me to try new ideas.
Too many favorites to list!! Cuteness overload!
Wow! The simple elegance of this design style is perfect! The IOD air dry clay and molds look so good. I'm definitely going to try them. You are an excellent teacher and next level designer 👏.
Lovely projects as usual Julie
Am I right in remembering them a few months ago?
I just LOVE all the birds, eggs and flowers! Certainly perks up a January day seeing all these Spring projects. That clock is amazing!
I thought it was su beautiful. At first I was wondering " how is she going to cover that " art deco " type design that went right around the clock. And you wowed me with the dry clay embellishments . Absolutely wonderful idea . It really suited it the project to a T. .
These were so dang cute. I couldn’t choose a favorite if I had too.
Everything is beautiful,I just smile when you change things , how many times I change things Especially when you make
more than one and the more you make , there’s always that one that stands out, and then you have them all. It just haunts ya till you do .lol
Julie, you need to view the Canterbury Cottage, Sandra has done a variety of things with clocks.
Love how you did the clock.
I love the pencil holder ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Delightful UA-cam presence. 😊
Raindeers are beautiful
That clock would look amazing with a mirror on it!! Would be a great vanity piece!!
Especially love the little hanging basket with the pegs!!
I love that you use actual thrift finds. The peices you use are good quality which is my kind of up cycle. 😊
Wow, the birdsong clock is sooooo gorgeous!!!
I make doll house minis. I often use loose tea from tea bags (unused or used) to look like dirt" in my flower pots; it works great to fill in worn moss, too. Dollar store gravel or sand works well, too. I brush on a thick layer of glue and pat it on the flower pot surface. I love the slate with the sprigs stamp. Everything is beautiful but the slate was my favorite. ❤❤❤❤
I have never tried a transfer on fabric, but now I will!
Tin can is cute!!!
All so beautiful but the transformation of the pencil holder was so simple and sweet! 💓
I love so many projects in this video but I think the wooden crate with the floral transfer is my favorite. It is gorgeous!

Great advice. I’m not familiar at all with stamps. I want to purchase but what’s the best first purchase. Hmmm 🤔
And then you can also use the stamped piece of paper in another project...
Love them all but the birds you did with the cinnamon were my favorite they were gorgeous! My second favorite is the glass candle globes with the gold door knobs on the top. Outstanding creations!
I think fraying the drop cloth on the bucket would add character to it.
Love EVERYTHING you do Julie !
love the wooden crate with the transfers
So many cute projects! Your use of the white wax to tone down the brightness, adds such subtle style. Loved the use of the botanicals also. Simple but beautiful.

Wood piece that you put the glass jar in originally was a sewing machine drawer. Came out great!
