I am Indian so they wouldn't charge tourism tariff to me, I am glad that the relation of India and Bhutan are so good that if I would visit the Bhutan at some point in my life that would be not that expensive that it is to people other than the Indians and Bangladeshis.

Bangladesh, India & Maldives. I am lucky that i am from Bangladesh and could step oon Bhutanese soil without any visa. The last Shangri la. the people are happy, simple and honest. Over 100,000 Bhutanese Citizens of Nepali heritage were thrown out of Bhutan and had to seek refuge in Nepal. I met some of the refugees in Jhapa, Nepal and their story of how Bhutan treated them gave me nightmare for days. Even with a lot of international pressure Bhutan refused to take the citizens back. As a result US, and some European countries accepted over 100,000 of them. As of today they are living in countries around the world. In short, Bhutan has conducted crime against humanity and people should stop glorifying it.
