❤. Thats a great project. I made a longer version for laying out large circles. It worked so well that I took a 4 ft metal ruler and made a base for my router that would attach to the ruler so I could cut round wood tabletops with it. Please keep up these great vibes.

If the hole is the right size you could also swap out the pencil for a scratch awl

@@onedudeonehammer One hole in each end of the dowel offset 90 degrees from each other, that way you don't need to remove one to use the other.
