In the video you did about Andy Beal you said they played No'limit I'm pretty sure it was just limit hold'em. I could be wrong though the last time I heard the story was sometime ago
Yes they played Limit holdem. If at any point in the video I said no limit instead of limit then it was a mistake.
@@PokerBounty ok bro cheers
Thanks for the vid bro, btw whats the timespan when this happens?
Ee und ich hoffe es geht ihm gut und du hast auch noch nicht da ich bin auch dabei und ich bin auch dabei und ich bin auch dabei und ich bin auch dabei und ich U und ich bin auch dabei und ich bin
Molly: Tobey, please, I need that money.
Bully Maguire: I miss the part where it's my problem.
I find it suspicious af that Tobey "didnt know" his partner was a mechanic. I cant describe how unrealistic that sounds to me.
He knew.. that had to be apart of his pitch…
One of the best poker channels on UA-cam without a doubt don’t understand how these videos don’t get way more views
Algorithm
He needs to add white cop or black male or covid 19 and for sure will get 8 million views
It's because of the admin on this channel
@@TheFreshstartable thanks Mr Hunt
Maybe he would get more views if his analysis was not so biased. Brad was arrested and gave up all the names of the players who took his cash, yet the guy who made this Video blames Molly for that. WTF??
You have some brown on your nose
When I lived in Boston, there was a poker game at an undisclosed location, the dealer had a mechanical shuffler, and the cut was made by a random player. Plus, there was a card blocker incase the bottom card was accidentally exposed and made base dealing tougher to make. Every 100 orbits, both decks were shredded, and a two brand new decks were opened. The game was supervised by the organizer and the cocktail ladies that were secretly trained to catch cheaters. Trust me, this is one game you did not want to be caught actually fucking cheating.
I'm from Charlestown and my cousin is from Dorchester and I'm pretty sure all that are in the know or grind any, that is the one game in town no one will hit!
@@Irish4u2nv The outside security was just one man with comms with other people. People would walk out with tens of thousands in their person, the organizer guaranteed a safe environment inside and outside. You could request an armed escort back to your vehicle free of chage. I thought about asking if they ever been hit, but I thought better to ask a sketch as fucking question like that.
@@JohnnyXanax that rep and those comms with a man to relay them is all thats needed and lol yep that would definetly be a sketchy AF question you wouldn't want to ask, especially if it did happen that someone tried to hit it because afterwards you'd suspect #1.
Pretty sure those place run by mob boss . If you lucky they just beat you up and ban you never play there again. If you unlucky they will force you do something for them in return wipe away your debt
I cheated at this game. The trick is to have the cocktail waitresses in in I too, and to program the auto-shuffler, and mind control.
You’re saying that Tobey didn’t want to hurt people but his actions say otherwise..
I would love this movie with Tobey playing himself
Nobody would play themselves in a movie adapted by a book written by someone who dislikes you
THey already made this movie without him. Its called "Mollys Game" and it's actually decent. Edris Elba plays Molly's lawyer. I'm not going to tell you who plays Tobey but it's actually kinda funny. Go watch it!
Zero chance that Tobey Maguire would agree to that movie. It would show Toby to be a scumbag (see Molly's Game). He's generally known to be an unpleasant person and making another movie about his poker playing would highlight his unlikeability and likely kill his career even more than it already is.
@@2011blueman Not really, shows him as a insanely smart poker player who smartly takes over the game pretty much. Ntm it shows him as being someone who everyone likes
@@SweetSword No one likes Tobey Maguire. He was spiderman but really hasn't been cast for anything else because he's an asshole that no one likes.
Molly was " a threat to the integrity " of a crooked card game. lmao
in the movie they show tobey as the villain and molly as some goddess lmao
That’s because it’s from her view not his lol
Wow, this is quite different than portrayed in "Molly's Game"
Correct. Molly didn't give up the players names...in the movie.

Molly wrote the book the movie was based on..

Glad you enjoyed it!
Good luck getting that money back from the other players, and it's so nice that the Feds are so ready to go collect poker debts but still can't find any criminal activity from the housing crash..
Well they dont investigate themselves
Can't find any criminal activity of the housing crash????
@@tomharry6619 I'm guessing he's talking about 2008. Hell the government wrote them all a big fat check on Wall Street
Feels incredibly unfair to ask people to pay that money back unless they knew what Bad Brad was up to
Yea, even before knowing anything about the “true story” I could tell right away the Michael cera character was based on Toby McGuire and the wsop player they brought in was Jamie gold. I really liked the movie the first time seeing it, but dosent hold up as well after more viewings.
Glad I stumbled across this channel. Great story
Glad you enjoy it!
Yea, I read the book. Toby comes off as a cold piece of shit in it. Even watching the movie before knowing anything about it, it sounded like Michael Ceras character was based on Toby
You can’t argue using j high as a bluff catcher is always a bad play. It depends on who is in the pot, your position, their position, the board texture, stack sizes etc..
Agreed
True, but the better play if you think they are weak is almost always a raise to get folds from better hands like ace high or low pairs
J high is a terrible bluff catcher are u crazy?
Bluffing with J high and calling with it, even if you suspect a bluff, are very different plays.
This post predicted the future.
Now Houston Curtis owns and runs a popular High Stakes Livestream called LIVE AT THE BIKE. What could go wrong
wwow, thanx for that info.
Kinda funny when you here Molly Bloom tell her story she conveniently leaves out the part of being a snitch and paints herself as a victim. And I don't believe Tobey McGuire fleeces top pros without an edge.
Bully Tobey making a comeback!
So the card cheat guy was always the dealer? That's suspect in itself I'd never play in a game like that
Tobey has always look like a Hollywood pedo
@@deadpool790 Drive that funky soul
He was cheating
Playing poker at Commerce Casino for the past 20 years ... I have met tons of celebrities in play that private games in Hollywood and made tons of money but all that comes and goes
Incredible Tobey was out here hustling
I only know a couple of these names.
I gave up on Hollywood 20 years ago.
So I’m assuming the movie is all wrong and she didn’t do it for her name.
how did Molly get the dealer to rake the pots without telling everyone? and how would everyone not immediately notice this going on?
If you really want to know how bad of a job they did adapting this into film, "Houston"
was barely in the movie and when he was he was portrayed as a desperately lonely gambler who kept needing to borrow big sums of money.
Bully Maguire is ruthless.
The card mechanic, who intentionally dealt pocket aces to a player in a high-limit poker game got branded as a cheater? Hmm. Shocking.
Yeah he was certainly cheating. I spent a year or so when I was younger practicing magic. I can easily give myself pocket aces. Especially, when woth mates, drunk and in a dark room. It is very tempting to me when there is $200 on the line. I can't imagine he wouldnt cheat with millions on the line.
In all honesty Ive cheated when Ive had the button. You have 20 shit hands in a row get a few bad beats and you think fuck it.
@@icmull how can you cheat In poker? At least where I Come from In friendly games its allways someone else than dealer doing Last cut before deal

Huston Curtis looks like Doc Ock😂😂😂
So the movie was largely fabricated. Mainly to go with the theme of empowering women. They polished the lead female depicting her as an angel
yup. molly in reality is a dumbass whos just as bad as everyone else involved

Naah, a lot of doors in his house.
Now Houston Curtis is in charge of security at either Live at the Bike or Hustler casino Live. Oh the sweet irony.
lol, after a couple of minutes I was thinking, sounds like the movie Molly's game's plot. Then you introduce Molly Bloom:) didn't know it was a real story !

Where was Dan Blizerian, the proclaimed richest poker player, in this picture? Dan claimed to build his fortune by winning millions in private games like this in about the same period of time.
He was in them lol, read The Setup or just look it up. Alec Gores and Molly Bloom both dropped his name saying he was there most weeks

I played Toby Mcguire in my high school play.
And why is this so much easier to believe
There's a fine line between poker player and actor/actress.
Interesting how this video definitely doesn't portray MG at all. Now, seeing both sides of it, it's pretty easy to determine what was faked in the movie and what was actually going on.
Tobey could really play some cards. I think the best part of it all was Jamie Gold losing 2M lol
that must be 2 million he couldn't afford to lose, but his ego got in the way. The guy is now broke. He won $12mm but probably only got about $6 because he promised half to his buddy and then renegged so they had to go to court but settled out of court in the end.
MG?
@@DaveDepilot-KFRG he isn't even at the WSOP main even this year. I think he's def tapped.
@@DaveDepilot-KFRG that dude got crazy hot at the main event, I remember watching him back then and how annoyed I was that it seemed like he couldnt lose.
This story is very different from the movie and countless interviews ive watched. In all them its said that Molly kept things on the up and up until she started taking a rake. And that was her only mistake. But in this video, theres drugs, girls, taking money from the massage people. i wonder which story is true if any.
A lot of deatils are skewed in the movie. Plus the movie shows us both the Hollywood and New York games. In this video we only focus on the Hollywood games and their back story. Also if you google the names Houston Curtis and Tobey Maguire and do a bit of research you will get the facts!
Both this vid and the movie have things that positively could never happen. The movie claimed Tobey bluffed a guy holding the nuts off his hand. This video claims a pro booked a win by bluffing while playing the entire time without looking at his hole cards. Neither of these things are possible unless you're playing against literal 10 year Olds who don't even understand the rules of the game.
Well the movie was from her perspective so of course she made herself look better. She didn't know the whole story of what was going on because she wasn't one of the players. She was a glorified hostess. What hostess in any business knows all the details the bosses are working on?
Early poke boom was nuts
The story In the movie was, Toby tried to take the game away and she beat him by going to New York… The story here says Toby gave her the job in New York?
Movie changes things for drama?
Movie changes things for drama?
And people change things to make themselves look better?
The movie is her own distorted way of presenting what really happened.
In the movie she was presented as a "strong independent woman" who managed to organize games and do it all by herself.
Reality: She was just in a glorified secretary of Viper Room's owner reffered to as a "great piece of ass" by him.
She was nothing but an eye candy to make the players more comfortable, who was told who to seduce/recruit and who to sweet talk by Tobey. She was not in charge of anything, not even for a single moment.
Her role in all of this was to give the game a feminine touch, because it was proven that males respond to attractive females' suggestions way better than to men's. So Tobey would tell her what to do and who to scope for and her job was to introduce herself to the potential fish and talk to them about how there is a game and lure them to come check it out.
She was nothing but an advertising panel for Tobey's game.
I mean the rumor that he made her bark like a seal for chips speaks tons about the power dynamic between the two and who was who.
my favorite part was Jamie Gold losing $2M
Ive played the Viper Room stage as a musician many times. Very fun little club with tons of Hollywood history. The Sunset Strip venues have a certain energy to them.
Great poker story, no one was hurt in this experiment.

When they say crooked game, are they like literally cheating? Or they are just so much better than the fish that they almost always makes money every night?
I'm reading Molly's Game and it's a great book plus it was a great movie.

I was suspicious of your version from the beginning but when you claim Molly actually barked like seal for Tobey’s tips it’s obvious this entire story is false. Also Molly gave up all the names??? Please did Tobey pay you to post this version?
Houston we have a problem
How fishy are these players if Toby is the shark?
Tobey Mcuire was blessed with that innocent boyish looks and charm and this is what makes people think this dude cant be for real or he is just not up for it.
I've learned the hard way that although many people own up to their looks and the perception of others about them, from time to time there is a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Tobey McGuire is actually much more sinister than you think. these games were not about being good or bad at poker. These games were rigged. He tipped the odds in his favor by having a mechanic as a dealer.
I mean how idiotic people can be thinking Tobey didnt know that his partner was a mechanic lmao?
Be weary of people like Tobey McGuire. He is the prime example of the saying: "Dont judge a book by its cover". This asshole is cold hearted and cheated people out of money by basically using his star status as a guarantee of intergrity.
The fact that he staked a player and then proceeded to take 50% of his earnings for a whole year after the player payed him off, needs to open your eyes about what kind of scumbaggery we are dealing with here.
Very good video, Worth hundreds of millions of dollars and playing poker to win more lol

You think Molly was the one "betraying the trust of the game" by taking bribes to let players in the game but not the card mechanic or the movie star who took advantage of everyone. Lol right
