Nice video, thanks. Question however, if you have you Story with multiple paths. How do you keep track of everything within renpy? Do you make comments for yourself so you wont forget? And how do you test your game, in combination with all the choices (when you are later in game). Thanks again
Hello man, you have such an awesome channel. I want to ask some questions about Daz. I want to start making renpy games but I have an amd gpu and it seems I need an Nvidia GPU for faster render times but it will take time for me to buy an Nvidia GPU so while waiting for it I want to learn how to make scenes on Daz and i will watch your videos but after starting to make my game do I need to buy everything from daz store or can i just download stuff from forums for free. I think it is not possible because I will eventually start a Patreon page for my game and ask people to donate and it will make my game commercial so i think i cannot download hot models from forums and use it on my games. But the real problem is I cannot even find free models or interiors can you give me a hand for finding those thinks?
Hi. I appreciate your comments. I can't really offer you advice about where to get your assets from. Realistically if you want to make your own commercial game you need to either create your own assets, or purchase them from a reputable source.
@@Secth_K Even though it's morally (and legally) correct to buy the assets, you can snatch them from variable sites and it's not like anyone will know if you paid for them or not unless you tell them. I highly doubt most developers buy every single asset they use, but they would never admit to it for obvious reasons. It only really becomes an issue when you use them for 3D games/animations where the characters can be manipulated. But for still image renders for a VN? It's ''fine'' for the most part. I would still suggest paying for assets when you can, as the artists who put hard work in to them deserve to be payed for their work. :)
I don't have any official download links anymore. I have taken them offline whilst I work on them to get them to a more playable state. I'll put up links once they are ready :)
@@GameDeveloperTraining Hey do you ever do collabs? Like, if you need help with editing your game manuscript I'd be up for helping, since you were so helpful to me. :)
Sorry, but Start-Event-End is just a visual novel and not a game. Because at least for me a game should give you options to change the event or events.

Generally I just keep a "to-do" list written in notepad as I go along and work my way back through it

Semantics mate. A visual novel is as much a Game as Darts is a Sport.
