Just found and subed to your channel. I loved being an MP but you are about the age of my Granddaughter (22). I was a 95B MP from 1971 through 1984. We didn't have tasers or Mase or the fancy vest either and we did a lot of on post Military Police work. I remember my very last Military Police sedan was a brand new 1983 Plymouth Reliant K Car as it was called. It was at Fort Myer Virginia and those cars were small but nice because they had AC that worked and Virginia gets hot. Nice talking to you young Man and stay safe

My brother is on his 11th year in the army, and he’s actually going to college right now, because he’s going to be CIA after he retires. I went to meps and failed my physical due to some previous medical issues, but I’m going through the waiver process currently. Asthma waiver to be exact. I had 3 other waivers approved, and they wanted me to submit my pft test results along with clearance from my doctor saying I don’t have asthma. When the USAREC Surgeon General emailed my recruiter, they said they never received the test results, when in fact, they did. Was supposed to hear back about it last Thursday after my recruiters company commander called them to address the situation, and still, today, have not heard anything.
What did you do to be prepared for basic training?

You might want to get in touch with your PAO before you record yourself using your phone while driving a duty vehicle on shift and uploading it to UA-cam. Be smart out there Brother.
Have you asked your watch commander and/or high rank about your videos and the possible SOPs you might be breaking? I advise you to go through the proper procedure and get clearance and approval PV2...

I enjoyed the video brother! Awesome stuff. So I actually just signed my five year Active Duty contract. I ship out July 27th. I noticed in the video that you mentioned that you want to go into the FBI after your military experience. My plan is to either go into Federal law enforcement, or be an entrepreneur focused on weapons training, etc. With that said, how would taking college courses fit into an MP schedule? I just got my associates in Criminal justice but I want to finish my bachelor's once I'm an MP and let that tuition assistance take care of it. Is it doable with an MP schedule? Would love to get your opinion. Keep on that grind bro!
I go to MEPS in exactly 7 days and need to take the ASVAB. I passed my PiCAT and qualified for MP so hopefully I do good next week. I’m only signing if I get 31B 🙏. I’m excited for you ❕

Hello my friend, I'll be going to Fort Leonard Woods for 31B. I would like to know when do they let you use your cellphone and if how is the spare time after Basic Combat Training, thanks
Its really up to your unit some start giving phone time in white phase some start in blue phase and basic and AIT will be for 6 months in total and will be joined together lnown as osut but after those 6 months you will accumulate 10 days of leave and you will be able to go home for those 10 days
And far as spare time is usually after dinner chow and on sundays

As an MP where do you learn the paperwork or laws? At Basic or do you guys have a AIT?
So 31b go through osut one stationed unit training ok and so after basic the next day your in ait and throughout all of ait you learn everything

@@eduardoescalante1437 sorry for not being clearer basic and AIT is put together so instead of doing basic in one location and the do ait somewhere else you do basic and ait in one company the whole time its called osut so once you finish basic and go to sleep that night the very next day starts AIT
So I’ve been OC Sprayed previously with Indiana DOC, will they make me get OC Sprayed again? Or is carrying a tazer or OC optional? Can you decide which one you’ll carry?
Hey Jay, what you explained about getting into law enforcement after leaving the army is my reason to want to join. I want to possibly become a customs officer at an aiport near me I figured that would boost my resume. I'm currently in the research phase and need clarity in a few things:
1. For the 20 weeks training, how many days a week and how many hours a day?
2. Do you get basic pay twice a month?
3. What happens after training? How soon are you out in the field working?
So for training you train like a normal week day wake up early for pt and then you will train until like 5PM sometimes will be alot later depending on training type weekends there are no training its free time and its up to your drill sgts on what yall will do
Pay yes you will be paid twice a month and you be paid your rank pay and your status pay so if your a pv2 and active duty you will get that pay same with reserve and national guard
So after training you will either take leave to go home or go to your duty station as far as the field its on the unit every duty station is different

Its on what you want 31E is more security type and 31B is more Law Enforcement

hi, Joker. Prior MP 31B..SSG. The years depends on your military contract. Some stay 5 years, get out and apply with a law enforcement agency. In your case, honesty, law enforcement frowns upon MP's. We are looking for life experience. Remember, you are not a COP. Wish you luck!

Again, You are not and do not rise remotely to the level of a Sworn Peace/Police Officer working as Military Police in the United States Army. That MP badge you have and many before you have had, means absolutely nothing off of a military installation, nor should you be carrying it around in your wallet, flashing it!! I have a MP badge as well just for memory. My point, when and if you decide to ETS, you will still have to go through a "certified" law enforcement agency in your jurisdiction. Once you graduate a law enforcement academy, you are paired with a FTO (Field training officer) to determine if you are fit to be a police officer. This conversation may mean very little to you now but when and if you decide to apply with a law enforcement agency when you ETS, you will totally get what I'm saying. Stay safe, stay strong!

Bruh. You are not going to be a 31Kilo / dog handler. That’s a hard MOS and you will be waiting for a slot to open up. Plus that MOS is being fazed out and pushed back into 31B.

I did 4 years in the army and got out last January. Now I’m looking to re-enlist as a 31B. Did you have prior service in the ait portion of your osut? If so how were they treated? Did they get their phones?

No i wasn't prior service i enlisted as a 31b , and it depends on what company you go to and your drill sgts my company was the strictest in our battalion
