Aye man if you ever have doubts about your job bro, just think about this. You ain't in the army or the navy in the middle of the ocean or the marines gettin your shit rocked every day. Security forces can set you up really nice in the civilian world contrary to popular belief. And, although boring, you're job is pretty laid back I imagine. I know there are probably better jobs, but hey man you got a good career, a place to stay, food in your belly and some experience behind ya. Doing better than most bro

I was at FE Warren in 88thMSS FR1 (precursor to TRF). Used the GI Bill and was recruited by Digital Domain where I worked on Fight Club, Transformers, IronMan, TRON, Oblivion, I Robot and Benjamin Buttons(Oscar win for VFX). It was the professionalism that I learned while serving that made the biggest impact. I served with plenty that goofed around. They went nowhere. I always did extra, I always opted for the m60, I volunteered for Flight during every Convoy. If you want the most out of the Service, work and impress the Rank/File above you. If you want to be cool, impress your peers. Your choice. Best of luck. 🏴☠🎬
This really made me think a lot actually, I’m in my first year college going thru my first week and I was thinking of going marines because everyone says “ oh you’re gonna be a certified badass” But I realized how marines get treated and how their pay is I’ve realized that Air Force or Coast Guard might be some options
I feel like the only good jobs from the Navy, Army, and Marines is the blue collar jobs
Just got sworn in and this is the job me and a few guys I met are taking up on... cant wait for the real fun to begin

I’ve been interested in joining the Air Force. I’m 28 I’m a little embarrassed about my age and wanting to join. Watching your videos truly inspired me to take that chance and hopes to get in but I’ve been trying to study the asvab a little hard since it’s been awhile since I went to school. Any tips.? Thanks for watching the vid. I didn’t do much studying for it honestly and i didn’t score as good as i could have. So i recommend getting “asvab for dummies” on Amazon. Think its like $20

Our guns are blocked for training purposes/safety reasons

I have a girlfriend I dont want to spend ot much apart from her but I was always told I'd be a great soldier I'VE BEEN IN CADET since I was 12 in middle school to the ending of high school this was in Jamaica. A CADET IS BASICALLY CALLED A PERSON IN A PROGRAM NAMED JCCF it is a combined force of jumiors who train and could enter the military if recommended.... I'm now living in the states I'm 17 turning 18 graduated high school last year and would like to know what you think is the better route I want to see war but also want to spend time with my girlfriend.... Should I join the USAF SF or join the army and make my way up to be a DELTA FORCE OPERATOR?
im joining airforce this year and one thing to know is that the air force is the best branch for family time. they pay for your off-base housing. army has significantly less family time, cuz of their longer deployments/more deployments.
and i dont know too much about the jobs but im pretty sure a delta force operator is a way higher position then USAF SF (assuming you mean security forces)

As a first term AP we were sent to Camp Bullis, Tx for 2 weeks prior to going to Vietnam! 1969!
I wonder what your experience was like at Bullis, knowing you were going to SE Asia vs me going in 78’ and only going PCS to a stateside SAC base, you probably had a different mindset knowing you were gong there and your anxiety level was probably quite high! Thanks for paving the way for those of us who followed👍🏽🇺🇸
@@trob0914 I was anxious as anyone could be! And for weeks after arriving in Nam I was still picking cactus needles out of my thighs and forearms.! Flew from San Antonio to SF and took a bus to Travis!

But,I hope nothing breaks out,US is already putting it's pieces in order to let China know what's up. Me,myself I did 4 deployments to go fight in Iraq ( I volunteered for all 4 tours,also did 2 tours back-to-back ) with the Texas Guard. My first tour was with an infantry unit at Camp TQ,Iraq in late 2004 and all of 2005 ( TQ was a Marine FOB ) our battalion did route-clearance,QRF,ECPs,combat patrols,vehicle-check-points,raids on homes and apts. The reasons why I volunteered to go fight in the most dangerous place on Earth ( at this time ) I was BORED working 2 full-time jobs civilian jobs and needed a challenge ( I was already in the Texas Guard ) so,off I went to Iraq. LOL. We also did joint missions with the Marines at TQ,that was interesting.I deployed more than any active duty personnel-EVER. Like i said hope none of you have to go to war-EVER-keep training and enjoying your time in the Air-Force,amigo. SEMPER-FI

I would say just continue staying active physically and get some studying done for the asvab. Also start doing research on specific jobs just in case you find something else you’d like

I haven’t heard too much about the eczema part tbh. But i enjoy it most of the time. Military has some downfalls. But i’ve had some great experiences and met some dope people

What about a salary in the army is lesser than sitizen's job in USA?
We get free room and board, free healthcare, free food. Balances out. 'Citizens'
We’ll look at it this way you get paid around 2.2k base pay and free health at which is roughly around 500 a month + housing and food which adds up to around 2.5k+
I keep having dreams of being a pilot in the Air Force, but then I realize nothing would ever compare to what I want out of the Air Force than security forces. Joining up when I hit 17 this year! I’m also a Current Civil Air Patrol Cadet, C/CMSgt specifically, and I just have one question. How strict are SecFor Squadrons are with you buying optics, foregrips, etc for your duty rifle? I assume if any modding at all is allowed it must be taken off after use.
