OB did not have his memory wiped. Not only did he know about HWR Temporal Aura to open the blast doors, but back in EP 1 he knew Mobius even though he said he hasn't had a visitor in i think 400 years or something like that. Mobius also couldn't remember what happened while OB recollected every detail from Mobius last visit.
i loooove your reactions, the genius that is that they did the same in s1 ep 4, they made us believe everything was lost and catastrophic things happen and then CHAOS. s1 had the kindness of giving us a post credit scene
My favorite reactors, did it again!! Your reaction when Timely got spaghetti-fied was exactly my reaction!!!! Like exactly! Fantastic reaction like always! My goodness, this show though!!!!!!!!
Wow, that episode was absolutely incredible! I loved how Loki referenced the first Thor movie while talking to Sylvie. It was so interesting to find out that O.B. learned everything he knows from Victor Timely, and Victor Timely learned everything from OB. It's like a never-ending loop! That scene with Miss Minutes smiling while General Dox and the Minuteman were crushed was seriously creepy and sadistic. And did you see when she glitched after the TVA rebooted? Her face with one eye was disturbing, especially when she told Victor Timely that he would never be him. The MCU really knows how to reveal hidden pasts, huh? I was fascinated to learn about Ravonna's connection to her comic book counterpart. In the comics, she was the daughter of King Carelius and had a complicated romance with Kang the Conqueror. It'll be interesting to see if she has a similar relationship with another Kang variant since Victor Timely rejected her. Were you able to catch the reference to Protocol 42? It's not only a nod to "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy," where 42 is the answer to the universe, but it's also significant for Marvel fans because it's where "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" ends. Marvel loves their numbers! The transformation of Victor Timely into spaghetti reminded me of the probability storm scene in "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania." And let's not forget about Wanda unraveling Reed Richards in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness." Marvel really knows how to keep us on the edge of our seats! That cliffhanger ending has me so excited for the next episode. I can't wait to see what happens next!
Not sure on OB having his memory wiped, but him knowing about He Who Remains is information that would be in the system, not a memory, correct? It's his aura that's the lock on the door, so OB reading about what is preventing the door from opening is not necessarily anything to do with memory, just using the instruments around him... And given we've already been shown (last season) that being pruned does NOT equal death, why the jump to assume that this means death too? Getting squished to juice - yes, that's a death. We see (well, experience via B-15) the actual effects of death in this show. But we've also been shown that there are other things that happen that look intense but AREN'T death. I get the shock in the moment, I guess, but given the meta of only being episode 4, I trust that there is more to get to - not knowing WHAT that is doesn't really phase me, I watch shows to see how they unfold, not to try and second guess them... As for the branched timeline/variant thing - He Who Remains whole point was that in a multiverse (may not be correct term for the time aspect, but you get what I mean) there are endless variants because they are ALL branched timelines. It's only when he wins the war and creates the TVA that there IS a sacred timeline - he gets rid of the rest, hence the TVA's mission to prune branches. Getting rid of him starts a cycle that brings back the branches, and the variants of himself (so yes, Timely is a variant, but he's supposed to be?) - which is what he was trying to warn Loki and Sylvie about back at the end of season one. It's not as tricky as people think... And "For all time. Always." - it's the motto of the TVA, of course it's written in places around the TVA... It might mean more, but there's a boring logical reason for it.
oh shit maybe i know whats gonna happen. the pruned kangs will meet renslayer at the void time with oliath and they will escape from there then wages war with loki and replaces him again with he who remains in which renslayer chose to partner up with. and thus reincarnation, baby.
I agree with you. Season 1, I felt was outshone by Wandavision, because the theme of Free Will versus Destiny is fairly abstract, compared to Wandavision's exploration of dealing with grief, which is much more palpable and easier to apply. This season, with things like Sylvie's decision regarding Timely, for example, adds more weight, in a personal way that is easier to feel as the audience.
I was wondering when your reaction to episode 4 would appear, I was so happy when it appeared! This episode was crazy, especially the wtf the ending 🤣

This episode was really intense, from the crushing deaths of the variants to the spaghettification of Victor Timely 😟😟😟

Timely is completely a different person
