Just when you think you had it all figured out, the show keeps proving youtubers and theories wrong.

Well Loki said "ill explain you later" to Silvie when she came out of the elevator.
Which means he is about to be time traveling alot during episode 5.
My theory is that since magic now works in TVA, he took the time stone, and he is going to be jumping back in trying to change the original line of this season.

@@EternalKvK The "I'll explain it later" was because he knew that a Loki pruning an identical Loki must have been confusing.
The Loki that got pruned was S2Ep1 Loki; he had the clock he was given in the episode, the same clothes and hair, and even some of the scenes in S2Ep4 were from S2Ep1, so there's really no debate there. S2Ep4 Loki saw the other Loki (his past self) and prunes him (Because he knew he needed to be pruned). That doesn't mean anything about time traveling happening in Ep5.
However, I do think time travel is possible, just for a different reason. When Victor gets spaghettified, it kinda looks similar to Loki's timeslipping from S2Ep1. Maybe, because everyone got hit by the radiation, everyone is stuck timesliping now (Kinda makes sense by itself: Pull yourself out of the loom, you stop timeslipping, so if the loom pushes itself into you, you _start_ timeslipping instead!)
So, I don't think any infinity stone shenanigans are going on in the episode. It would be really cheap, as there are 0 scenes where anyone even thinks about the stones after the premier episode. But, I do still think time travel is a possibility!
Loki wasn't the one puppeteering X5, it was Sylvie. She is clearly shown enchanting him when she grabs his head and he walks in with Sylvie's demeanor to prune Ravonna. This is an established power set for Sylvie.

This episode has been in line with something HBO or apple+ can do, marvel needs to give more projects to the team behind this show. They are amazing.
Technically, the loop hasn’t been fully closed. Victor started in the sacred timeline, but then the Victor with knowledge came from a branch timeline. OB learned in his past from Victor’s work, but that Victor hasn’t been to that past yet. We all still need to remember. Victor was all part of He Who Remains' plan. I don’t think we’ve seen the end of that.
He Who Remains did say to erase everyone’s memories, but why wasn’t OB’s memories changed?

Yeah there's no real "chicken and the egg" situation because OB learned from OG Victor, and this Victor Variant learned from OB. It's not like the OG Victor also learned from OB.
When OB rebooted the system to shutdown Miss minutes so the dampener for magic powers be turned off that means those infinity stones that are being stored inside the desk drawers in the office section of the TVA can be used for their powers so with this assumption if Loki thinks fast enough before the blast in the end wipe them out he could probably use the time stone to reverse or going back in time before the loom melts down to change things.

I think the infinity stones works only in their respective universe.
It was already confirmed that everything in this show was filmed and completed, and nothing was re-written. They made the show they wanted to make and confirned there was no reshoots.
I think it's safe to say the entire MCU fandom was left in shock from the final moments of this episode. There hasn't been a feeling like this in the MCU since the final moments of Infinity War. 😑

The reason why Viktor had to be the one not X-5 is explained by him "Only I know how this works, if something goes wrong, I can fix it"
Sending Viktor is the only way to not risk it, imagine if X-5 was sent out there only for something to go wrong with the machine, then they'd either need to go all the way back to fix it or would have to switch suits etc.
No one expected there to be that much radiation, also that scene was straight up gore

stories about time are one of the best ways to flex those brain cells. i freaking love it!! i still believe Victor Timely is 'He Who Remains' and that “All of this has happened before, and it will all happen again". many would believe the ouroboros (or uroboros) is consuming itself while not considering it could be creating itself in its never ending cycle. if Victor reappears and everything is overall back to normal, not only would a war break out as it did prior, it would explain why Loki & Sylvie were specifically chosen in season one as well explain 'He Who Remains' last words to Sylvie, "See you soon". when Loki & Sylvie were fighting each other at the end of season one 'He Who Remains' looked as though he's experiencing a long forgotten memory once again. A memory of his first meeting the two in the late 1800's. -- right or wrong im very interested to see how things play out in the next 2 episodes.

I think hot coacoa existed in the 1800s(surely as a delicacy), so maybe Victor has a personal identification of it compared to all the other worldy sights he saw in relation to the TVA. So, if something so exquiste as hot coacoa seemingly was cheap and readily available, I imagine anyone would be shocked or curious.
What that ending possibly means for the next episode is they all get sent back to their own timelines 🤯🤯🤯

I love that this episode tied back in with another episode to fill in the gaps and seeing Victor Timely interact with all of the regular characters was awesome and entertaining. Renslayer was just an unredeemable character and I'm fine with what happened with that situation. The way things played out and the ending makes me wonder about something. He Who Remains set up this contingency plan and had to know how it would play out so I wonder if this is how the Kang of the main universe comes into being. I guess we will find out in the next episodes or in one of the other upcoming projects. Remember that Miss Minutes said to Timely "You'll never be him" before they rebooted the security protocols.
Also I think this is the only episode of this season that they showed all of the name slots in the ending credits from Tom Hiddleston to Owen Wilson. There are normally gaps in the credits where other names should go in the previous episodes.

I don’t think Kang will be from the main universe 1 this version of victor himself is a variant 2 Kang from the comics isn’t from the main comic universe either
@@personanonomys6546 I personally won't jump to that conclusion becasue the MCU doesn't do everything the way it happened in original Marvel comics that I grow up with or the Ultimate Universe. They mix and match then throw in a bit of they're own stuff to make it different.

@@7thangelz Loki and Renslayer don't have the same exact motivation for why they did what they did. Loki was basically a cry for attention and acceptance. Renslayer is more about control and power. At least that is all that I've seen from her character, but we've had more time with Loki to see him grow.
For the moment I don't see anything redeemable about her, but I saw it in the MCU's version of Loki from the beginning. He just needed the right opportunity to be what he always wanted to be without his past motivation in the way. Namely everything Asgard to form his new self.
I'm sticking with my opinion based on what I've seen so far from her actions and see if Marvel decided to throw a curveball at us with new information about her that may change my opinion on it.
I really hope they stick the landing with the last two episodes. This show is miles better almost all the other MCU shows.
Technically its outside the MCU. Outside all timelines this series could reboot the whole MCU if they wanted to.
@@hamhockbeans Yes! I’ve been saying that for awhile now…this show gets to be more complex and have more stories because it doesn’t live within the MCU. It’s like the show it’s a variant itself.
@thatdude4247 technically this show explains itself from season 1. The show IS the citadel. And what happens in this show controls the MCU. So although it lives in its bubble, its stakes are higher than anything we've scene in marvel. Quite poetic I feel.

@@TheIcemanthomas It did…but it ended badly. A show like Wandavision deserved so much more. They could have made more seasons. They had so much going for them, great characters, awesome cast.
But, you can’t compare these 2 shows.
They’re treating Loki like the center of the Multiverse Saga. He’s like the Hub of the multiverse. The TVA can keep track of all of it.
Loki is the only series so far that has been treated like an actually series. They still don’t have a showrunner ( I think ) but if they’re aiming for a 3rd season, they definitely need one.
All other MCU Shows have been basically long length movies. Which is a shame. Hopefully, they’ll learn from the success of Loki.
From my understanding time has gone back to its original state since it's not refined anymore. Probably uncontrollable, raw and the reason why the Multiversal War is about to resume. But i don't think they died, maybe each one of them is just gonna get thrown in a random branch but can't wait for next episode
I don't think they are thrown into a random branch. I think they will be thrown back into the Timeline they are originally from since the multiverse is fully back but they will have their TVA memories since there is no HWR to wipe them.

No he just died to Temporal radiation. OB said you age really fast your skin falls off and you die and it’s clearly what happened to him.
The ending gives so much infinity war ending vibes
TVA definitely was destroyed, probably along with branches. There will be no using tempad and skipping it. OB said himself they're ALL going to die if they don't fix it and we saw the blast and the end. But we're dealing with time in volataile state, so some twist is possible, some kind of reboot or entangelment caused by Loki's previous timeslipping that wasn't explained and the fix itself was also theoretical.
And if they don't die but instead everyone go back to their original timelines?

Now that magic is available in TVA, they could use the numerous infinity stones lying around like paperweights.
What's worse; seeing the Minutemen being squished to death or just hearing and imagining what Renslayer (professional stern I don't give a shit look) and Miss Minutes (grinning and enjoying this look) or B15's shocked facial expression. I'd prefer what was seen by the characters facial expression then that execution anyday.
I actually thought Renslayer looked disgusted but determined not to show it. But your main point, absolutely agree.
I actually expected Victor to die after plugging the thing in, because he seemed so nice, I thought the writers would kill him off and later an evil variant of him would appear. But I didn't.expect him to die as soon as he went out there 😭 but is he dead though? Because someone commented that OB mentioned in a previous episode that if you fall into a wormhole you turn to spaghetti... So my guess is either Victor got transported to the 31st century where he becomes HWR, hence why he knew how to create the plan to have the book brought to him as a child (HWR didn't stutter but I guess with work the stutter can go away), which would mean it's indeed a loop and he engineered himself 🤔 Or his essence got transported in different universes so many variants of him will rise simultaneously 🤔
As to what happens after the explosion, no idea, but I can see this show ending with the TVA destroyed because the creators said they conceived season 1 & 2 as a whole, and that they have ideas for future stories with Loki but it might not be a season 3, and that season 2 has a proper ending without a cliffhanger...

Sylvie's/He who remains Tempad can send them or someone to the "past" TVA, like in season 1 finale, when she push loki through the time door, maybe she do that again, and loki starts jumping back and forth again, since we've never seen the scene where he jumps with his actual clothes in front of the Jetskys store, I think that there's gonna be two loki (Hiddleston) at some point, maybe in season finale
And then he can tell them to not send Victor timely to fix it...instead of that he will go and we saw one scene in the trailer/promo where loki goes without suit to the temporal radiation....this will all make sense.

Maybe it's all part of HWR plan. Letting the TVA destroyed and let the timelines free to create another multiversal war that will still lead to the creation of the TVA still under the rule of He who remains. Remember, he said that he'd been through a lot of iterations and everything still leads to the destined path unless if loki and sylvie decides to not kill him and take his place. Killing HWR means, the loop will start again and will end again with the death of HWR.

Victor Timely is dead, he was from the past, this means that the Ouroboros commandment is broken, so the snake no longer eats its tail. Maybe the Ouroboros is a potential villain

Loki wouldn't puppeteer Hunter X-5 because of his arc throughout the series. He won't risk anyone else's life willingly and that's why he volunteered. Even Victor volunteered himself.
My theory is that because Victor became spaghetti in the time loom it would lead to the creation of all Kang variants.
And as for the Marvel's time problem the time loop is only happening in TVA as it has it's own independent time laws. Loop wouldn't happen in a normal timeline except with the help of Time stone. If you consider this, Marvel has held it's time travel rules pretty well till now.

I think it was New Rockstars that talked about how production wasn't able to amend JM appearance on the show after his arrest, even if they had decided to go that route. The writers' strike ( then actors strike) happened right as they were set to do reshoots, and they all had to be canceled.

I was expecting Victor to succeed but die as he would run back to safety, instead he was IMMEDIATELY turned into spaghetti like OB said would happen when you fall into a black hole. I like that Sylvie sent Renslayer to the Citadel at the end of time to die alone, BUT SHE SHOULD HAVE CHECKED HER FOR A TEMPAD! That or stabbed her in the gut to let her bleed out slowly, but quickly enough that she wouldn’t have screwed everything up.
I did love however that that murderous clock Miss Minutes basically died in a way that looked like someone put a magnet to her hard drive.😂😂

Renslayer was prunned and the prunning doesn't send to the Citadel but to the Void and at the mercy of Alioth. There were scenes of her in the Void in the trailer, possibly seeing Alioth.
I wonder if Sylvie landed in 80s earth randomly. For show sake it works, but Im surprised she didn't insert herself back to her Asgard. Lamentis showed us the TVA isnt just localized to earth. Probably random, but I just thought about it 🤔
Also maybe it would have been easier to catch victor if they just went back and hot him as a kid right? They only needed his temporal aura, i don't think they would have needed the multiplayer if they hadnt talen all that extra time playing cat and mouse. Time travel is so confusing sometimes 😂

So when u r spaghettied, you are split and your “variants” are spread through time. Victor is kang prime. All the others come from this moment. Even He who remains. Timey wimey. As far as Loki and everyone dying maybe they just closed the blast doors. I suspect something else though.
Exactly. The final Khang, He Who Remains, essentially just started the loop all over again. It's an ouroboros. Timerly gets split up, creating all other Khangs, until only one remains and the cycle repeats.
Doesn't everyone just have variants naturally, based on differing choices branching in their lives? Why would Kang have to physically split himself to create his variants? No one else did. They just automatically have variants.

@@LoyaltotheNightsky he makes sure there are many versions of him specifically. Loki is a direct variant of the original Loki. Until New York they were exactly the same being. The other lokis we saw at the void at the end of time were Lokis that developed on their own from a branch, which is why they looked so different. For example, a branch which formed back when Odin’s father didn’t defeat the dark elves. Or never contained Hela. We still get Odin but the whole timeline has been changed for years so everyone born after that time could be different. Maybe Odin battled a different form of giant hence the hulk like Loki. The earlier the branch the more different the Lokis will be. So they are not all strongly connected to each other. They were never the same being. But the title character is still our Loki who grew up with Thor. And all the new Kangs will be direct versions of HWR. Not similar beings formed separately on a branch.

Oh, I forgot to get on the plot here. I'm going to try to be tongue in cheek about this. The consistent theme of the Loki has been lies, typically the audience as is consistent with the character. I will say it is very interesting that Victor, a brilliant man who in fact knows it all and was given foreknowledge of time itself is always so ignorant to every situation he ends up in. It is also interesting how he will with no real warrant go to be "in the wrong place at the right time" as if that was called for. The cocoa machine and going out in the suit with his machine in this episode for just two examples. Just "out of the blue" he does these things that happen synchronize with an event in time. And then of course after things do not turn out the way everyone thought they were going to.
Last bit. They heavily emphasized the scene where Victor and Ouroboros were going to sign each others tv manuals. They never got to and Ouroboros never got to actually see inside of Victors book. That is if everything was even the same inside it past the cover.
