なんとクールで鮮やかなドライビングなんだ。回避とブレーキングが絶妙!お見事! PCEの清涼感ある音質のBGMも最高。 What a cool and vivid driving experience. Excellent evasion and braking! well done! PCE's refreshing sound quality BGM is also the best.
Indeed the PC Engine was a great little console for producing a number of near arcade perfect games, especially considering some that made it to the 16 Bit (Sega/Nintendo consoles), truly amazing Console....
@@davebear9825it’s better of course than any other 8 or 16 bit conversion than I can think of only the Genesis version would be close, unless I’m forgetting any but the Amiga and ST ports were garbage
If you mean the way the fork in the road flickers, I think that's by design as it's the same in videos showing it running on the original hardware. I think it's a limitation with this version in that it can only display one sprite for the road; with the road fork it just cycles the display for the road between left and right. It kind of gets round the problem, even if it is a bit ugly.
@Azure 1995 your wrong, PAL systems ran at 50 for 100% of games so your incorrect. This only changed from the Playstation 2 onwards. Also home 8 and 16bit home computers ran nowhere near 30 fps never mind 60
@@v3teran75Even the Atari 2600 ran at 60 frames per second in NTSC (because of a hardware limitation). I'm not sure if OutRun managed 60 fps on PC Engine on NTSC, but I know nearly every platform game did (Bonk, Keith Courage) as well as most shooters.
Best 8 bit version
fully captured the spirit of the arcade

Music at 17:38 has been burned into my skull ever since i heard it in the arcades back in the day - what an awesome melody
ah, the classic magical sound shower.. a masterpiece...
当時のハードでは一番頑張って再現してましたね。
自宅で出来ることに感動してました
Car sounds like a bee
The Ferrari emblem switches sides when you turn. 😁
容量の関係でスプラッシュウェーブが中途半端に終わるんじゃないかとおもったけど、最後の一オクターブ上のところまで譜面通りに完走したのが感動した。
nice version and a great soundtrack.
One of the best OST evere.
Well maybe it's just a recording issue but check 8:47 - 8:50
Argh!
Otherwise this looks like a solid conversion. Thanks for the upload!

Why this port never came to US 😒 all we got was crap like victory road and final lap 👎👎
At least we got the decent Space Harrier port.
アップダウンが貧弱な出来。
