I had this legendary Capcom classic game for my Amiga 500 in a compilation called FINALE from Elite back in the late mid 1990's. As i remember correctly, it had three other legendary classic games: - OVERLANDER - SPACE HARRIER - PAPERBOY GHOSTS 'N GOBLINS may be hard and frustrating 😹🕹️, but on the Amiga, for the Arcade conversion, it as brilliant as on the Commodore 64 😺👍🕹️.
Can't recall where i saw it now,but yep seemingly they did have access to the arcade board assets which wasn't that common back then. Not perfect, but miles better than the horrid Ghouls'n'Ghosts Amiga port by Software Creations. (Music excepted).
An excellent conversion that looks and sounds almost identical to the arcade version. One or two bugs tat could have been ironed out if they had more time, otherwise excellent.
Great longplay! I'm trying to record Amiga games for my own little channel, but I just run into constant problems. I'm using WinUAE to play the games. If I record with WinUAE's built-in recorder, I get audio drift because of the variable frame rate. If I use Game Bar, it doesn't record all of the audio channels. How on earth do you get your longplays to look so good?!
Kinda odd how they did such a good job up to the end (dodgy flying platforms aside), but then... No princess and no second loop. Smells a bit like some fatal bug occurred there which they simply couldn't fix by the deadline, and had to work around it by just truncating the game. That would still be far from the worst example of games on this machine being kneecapped by hard-nosed cynicism on the part of publishers.
One the most grueling and satisfying games of all time 🕹️
That's some elite work from the developers at replicating it.
The final boss is like a cake walk haha.
There's a patch around the web for a while that lets you play with 2 button controllers and adds the possibility to shoot backwards while jumping.
Yup there is. I have that rom. You can enable the backwards shooting during the crack screen.
This got a much better port than Castlevania.
der schwierigkeitsgrad war echt hart...
It looks quite nice, to be honest. The only problem is that it runs at a fraction of the arcade's speed.
Wonder why.
That's not a problem, that's a blessing. The slower pace makes the game a bit easier.
Yeah it looks and play like 16 bit. Not much slowdown. I guess stronger Amiga won't help here. They should make optimized version for cd32 :)

The ogres that throw the maces look like they're taking a dump when crouching down.
beautiful game but difficult and it was the first chapter❤

OmG the whole time it looked like you have a square box following under you everywhere😅!

A much more polished port than the below average Ghouls'n'Ghosts which was released six months before the Amiga version of Ghosts'n'Goblins
This is NOT a happy ending! Where is the princess?!
She was sacrificed so that you wouldn’t have to play through a second time
@@Jim-ev2pg that’s tough but fair
Great gamę from youth times
This straight up looks arcade perfect, like seriously its almost undistinguishable outside audio
It has also most of the tricks and secret bonus placements

アーケードと違って十字架なんだ!海外版は盾になってる。
Ho la versione AMIGA,versione non perfetta ma buona..
Gameplay looks good but the sounds and music have nothing on the nes version :)!
"Thank you Arthur! But our Princess is in another castle..."
