Cale & some crew members came to the Chevrolet , Oldsmobile dealership where I worked and All the service dept . & parts dept . Employees called him Mr . Cale out of respect ! He seemed To like us guys - Regular fella and just fit right in - We were very happy they took the time For us service dept. “ dirty guys “ - He was clearly a Champion but we sure liked the way he Talked a bit with us . Very down to earth individual in my opinion . We all bet on Mr. Cale ! Nice guys …. I miss him also . That was Real Nascar Racing --

Whats crazy is he started racing in 1963 but didn't run a full schedule until 1976.
