      Im quite new to Dakar and its rules, so sorry for not understanding properly. But why did he sleep alone in the dunes? Is it because he didn't make it to a mini-bivouac i time during the 48h chrono stage, so he needed to stop where he was? Thanks in advance!

    Audi winning by demonstrating strategy and great team play by all involved is really well deserved. Al-Attiyah going into the Chrono with "I don't care about tactics, I just wanna win" and then quitting instead of helping out Loeb expectedly hindered Prodrive's chances, which is extremely harsh on Loeb, who desperately deserves a win after all those close years, and showing us again what he is capable of in the last few stages.

    I feel bad for Loeb, 4 wins, closed the gap, fought 3 Audis. his supposed teammate bailed on him. then he got unlucky when it mattered the most. incredible year for him nonetheless

    • @juaneer
      @juaneer 7 місяців тому

      You're incorrect, Nasser entered as privateer, Loeb had no teammate from the start.

    • @HakarDoski
      @HakarDoski 7 місяців тому

      @@juaneer that is why I said "supposed" right before the round where Nasser withdrew from Dakar, he mentioned that he will do whatever it takes to help Loeb win his first Dakar title. it wasn't an official partnership, but Nasser was supposed to offer some type of assistance. which he never did

    Interesting day11- I think what the Boys are saying- Do you want your championship determined by tire punctures?
    Not speed or driver talent?? (all related, ok)
    They are not driving over nails. Are the Boys hitting rocks at the wrong angle/wrong speed?

    No team mate to help Loeb, it is hard to believe that Nasser Al-Attiyah left two days before the finish and left Loeb alone. They must not get on well at all... And Loeb gets lucky to keep his copilot considering the way he treats him.

  • @JL-cn1qi
    @JL-cn1qi 7 місяців тому

    Thats why you don't abandon your teammate Nasser. If you was close on Loeb and could have helped him he might of taken back some time.
    What an absolute farce of a teammate.
