Please someone tell me I’d this channel has this information or if Dr can respond .So greatly appreciate it! Thank you very much for pointing out what products are sponsored and which ones are not. A number of derms and estys have videos on HA. Bottom line, it's not the be-all, end-all of humectants (ingredients that attract water to skin). There are others that work fine as well such glycerin, propylene glycol, sorbitol, sodium PCA, beta glucan, polyglutamic acid, allantoin, urea, etc. A lot of moisturizers will have more than one humectant in them. The beauty industry has just marketed and brain washed people into thinking HA is the savior and put it into a lot of products (same goes with niacinamide). The important thing to remember if using a HA product, is that it needs to be sealed with an occlusive since if not it will evaporate and pull out even more moisture which can be a problem for folks who live in dry/arid climates.
Thank you so much for sharing us your knowledge dra. You’re one of the best blessings for us. What can you recommend for an anti aging cleanser for the body?
I use the paula’s choice one but will order the versed next time since it is cheaper! I do love the consistency of the paula’s choice. It absorbs pretty fast for me.
