    Thanks for the insightful video! I'm curious how the X_PLR Boost compares to the Ultraboost 22 and Ultraboost Lite for lifestyle use, particularly for lots of walking. They're all around 50% off at my local Adidas outlet in Canada and I'm considering getting a pair but am unsure which one to choose. Any advice?

      @@LearningAndGrowingInLife Only get the X_PLR Boost if you want more of a lifestyle shoe, I prefer it for casual wear more than for sport/running.
      I prefer the next two more, the light and the 22 because you can wear them for sport/running without a doubt, and if you want them for just casual wear they both work very well. Now I like the Ultraboost Light over the 22 because it looks more refined in my opinion: its lighter (thus the name) & more sleek. I like how they changed some aesthetics. The 22 seems more sluggish/heavier. I would only go with the 22 if you like more material on a shoe, the cushioning will be more pronounce too if that's what you are looking for.
      I wouldn't say one is better than the other, it just depends what you are looking for. I like light shoes for casual wear and for running. But I don't mind heavier shoes also.
      Think about what you would prefer, need more cushioning underfoot, want something light, want a sport/running shoe or just a casual shoe? You have 3 good options, hope this helps 👍 👌

      I mainly use this shoe for casual wear so it hasn't taken too much abuse at at. It's still going strong and still feels comfortable and soft, but I do wear double socks to improve the sizing so it fits a bit more tighter. It is still soft with all the cushioning when you walk, that's what I like about it most.

    Hi, I bought these sneakers but they hurt my feet horribly on the outer side of the foot. This does not happen with my other new sneakers Adidas Ultra Boost light. Do you know why and what I can do? I really like the design. :(

    • @jpalacesneakers
      @jpalacesneakers  6 місяців тому +1

      I'm not a foot doctor, but I am going to try to help you as much as possible.
      You could be developing something similar to plantar fasciaatis, where the bottom of your foot hurts. Look up bottom of foot pain (physical therapy), there are many methods that can work a whole lot to take the pain away or reduce it. I like stepping and rolling a golf ball underneath my foot, does wonders.
      Could be the set-up of the shoe is not ideal for your foot shape. Maybe the heel height is too high, the bottom base is too narrow, or the side walls of the shoe are too flexible (you need more support). It would all depend on how you step, walk, and run. You can try another insert (replace it), one that is more sturdy, that could improve it. Can take one out from another shoe and insert it. I don't know if you want to buy a new one, but there are expensive inserts with cushioning and support, even with a middle plate for more side support and stability.
      Another possibility is maybe you got the wrong size that your foot moves around too much in the shoe. Can double sock, use a runners knot (look up a youtube video on how to tie a runners knot), or even add another insert on top of the insert sometimes that can help make the fit better.
      Also, remember this shoe is not a really competitive shoe, not for constantly running marathons or sprinting drills with stops and goes. I would not feel confident in it for those types of demanding exercises. It's more of a leisure shoe, lifestyle shoe, but can use it for exercising and some controlled running - nothing extreme.
      Hope this helps or points you in the right direction 🙏🙏

    Is it true to size, I'm wearing EU 42 and ordered one size up (42 2/3) but I'm not sure if it will fit or is too tight!

    • @jpalacesneakers
      @jpalacesneakers  5 місяців тому

      Basically, only true to size if you have stocky feet lol (feet that are proportinate all around and if the feet are a little thick then these will work great).
      Anyone with narrow ankle or narrow mid-foot or wide footer it's going be to tricky to size correctly. In these cases best to go 1/2 size down or even one full size down. Because if you don't then the shoe is going to feel somewhat loose. It won't be that big of a deal to get a lower size since the material stretches. You can see in the video when I put my hand inside the shoe it stretches a lot.
      Hope this helps, since you just bought them if they don't fit right return them ASAP and order the correct size. Let me know how it goes 👍👍

    what does “shorter foot” mean 😁😁 sizing of the foot is determined by length of the foot not width

    • @jpalacesneakers
      @jpalacesneakers  Рік тому +1

      I'll give you some examples: the width of the foot can be narrow, regular, and wide but even extra wide and extra extra wide for some people.
      This means someone can fit into a longer shoe (bigger size) but their foot can be shorter in length if they are wide, extra wide, or extra extra wide. For some cases.
      It can feel comfortable for the sides but the length can have extra space in the front.
      Wide vs Extra Wide/Extra Extra Wide
      I usually just go up a 1/2 size since I am a wide footer. But if the shoe runs long I will have extra extra space in the front. Because my foot width in the front looks like a bigger size but my foot is actually a shorter length. Now you can imagine how hard it can be for people who are extra wide and extra extra wide.
      That's why you sometimes here reviewers say this shoe runs long or runs short, so have that in mind when buying. When it runs short, someone with a wider foot can order bigger size and will have less room in the front. I sometimes like those since I love snug shoes all around.
      Hope this helps, everyone has a different foot shape and sometimes shoes can be different in length and width too.
      Great question!

    • @jpalacesneakers
      @jpalacesneakers  8 місяців тому

      I like this shoe for casual wear, not for daily running. It will work great in a warehouse setting since it is comfortable and has very nice underfoot cushioning.
      I personally didn't like how thin the front of the shoe felt, so avoid having anything heavy fall on your toes (this shoe does not provide that much protection in that area). But if you want your feet to feel cool, it will work nicely.
      Solid overall, and watch the video for the correct sizing since this shoe runs large. Decide if it's going to work for you with all this info, hope this helps 👍👍

    How to clean and wash

    • @jpalacesneakers
      @jpalacesneakers  Рік тому +9

      This might be somewhat long, but hope it helps you out.
      First of all, you can dust a lot of dirt or debris off a shoe. Simply use a dry towel or even a soft bristle brush, something that will not damage the shoe. Because if you have some dry mud or dirt by wetting it, you can spread it or make it sink deeper into the material.
      Now for more difficult stains and dirtier shoes, use EBKicks or Shoe Doc FoamZone150. I like these two solutions. Or sometimes I just use water for light dirt or an easy stain that can be simply wiped off.
      Always apply the solution to the cloth or brush first, then you can begin to clean the shoe. Never apply the solution directly to the material, it can leave a spot.
      I prefer to clean all my shoes with a micro cloth towel, this way you are less likely to damage the material and it leaves less lint on the shoes than a regular towel.
      I try not to use a hard scrubber or brush too often, but sometimes you have to, especially for the bottom traction.
      Another good tip is: Use light pressure first when cleaning. If the stain requires you to put more pressure you can, but I prefer to clean the same area a few times with light pressure that usually works best to avoid damaging the shoe. Key here is to not rush the process. On thicker materials or harder surfaces like plastics, overlays, or synthetic materials many times you can add more pressure, just be careful you are not peeling anything off or damaging the material.
      Rinse shoe with water then squeeze as much water off. I rarely dunk an entire shoe in water, I use a moist micro cloth and just do a few passes on the shoe. I take my time. I repeat same process as needed with a dry cloth by patting shoe or I simply squeeze the shoe too, whatever makes your life easier.
      Lastly, you will get the best results if you air dry your shoes. If you can not air dry them outside, use a small fan for indoors.
      Hope this helps Brother 👍👌and sub if you can!
