Ultraboosts are generally very light sneakers, many reviewers tend to emphasise them as being heavy. If you compare them to actually heavy sneakers like the air force 1’s or boots/ shoes..Ultraboosts are like feather. They are only on the heavy side when comparing to running shoes. The fact that the Ultraboosts 23’s have boosts tech which is 30% lighter, it puts it back in line of being one of the lightest on the market. Comfort wise and durability wise for running sneakers, nothing out there beats the Ultraboosts in my opinion. I’ve been wearing Ultraboosts since they first came out, the only reason why I own other sneakers is to broaden my styling to wear with my clothes

I just got this pair in the other early release colorway and even though it’s not the best long distance running shoes, it is significantly way lighter than previous iterations. The price is quite steep considering what you’re getting but if you don’t own a ‘21 or ‘22, you’ll find this worth it. Comfort-wise, it’s even better due to the reduced weight and I went true to size.

Big runner, and I've been in the Adidas Solarglides (ran in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th) for a handful of years now. For an everyday, easy-run running shoe, its pretty solid. I was always weary of how thick boost wast, although most running sneakers are heading in that direction now (the new asics gel nimbus is a sight to behold). I like that Adidas continues to tweak Boost to make it perform better. I'll eventually pick up an Ultraboost Light when they go on sale (they always do). That said, the weight of the Ultraboosts never bothered me, probably because I've come to expect that Boost-based shoes tend to be on the heavier side. I bought the ultraboost light, and honestly didn't expect much from it, but boy oh boy was I mistaken. Light Boost is genuinely bouncy, noticeably more bouncy than nike react or cushlon foams and unlike them the light boost has not creased a single bit. The LEP plate doesn't really do much in my opinion but I have seen many reviewers say there is not enough foam for mid foot to forefoot strikers, while it's true while ur striking fore foot, striking mid foot there is plenty for long runs.

I got this adidas ultraboost light a couple weeks ago and I realized how , compared to the Nike invincible 3, it was not that soft and was really hard and the stack height was way lower. So I like this adidas shoe I lot but my problem is that it doesn’t offer enough stack height foam for the price (280AUD, idk how much that is in America but it’s expensive) I think for that price it should have more stack height, especially the forefoot. But other than that, it was very comfortable and versatile and I love the prime knit

It looks like you have a ton of foam under the heel but the sad part is that ur not sitting on all of it, a bunch of it is on the side walle providing "support". So you really only have about 30mm of foam under the heel, same as the pegasus 39, so the ultraboost isn't even a max cushioned shoe.

Unfortunately knit on 19s didnt hold for too long, for sure not as long as the other ultra boosts ive had. This shoe is a lie. The original Ultraboost had stack height: 20mm heel and 10mm in the toe. UB19 and 20 are generally regarded as the most comfortable had 20% more Boost with stack height: 30mm heel and 20mm in the toe. UB 21 and 22 had 7% more Boost, but the same stack height: 30mm heel and 20mm in the toe. The extra Boost was on the sides of the shoe to give it more stability at the expense of softness. These UB23 only have a stack height: 22mm heel and 12mm in the toe. This whole "Light Boost" is BS. From initial leaks the outside is a carrier foam of Lightstrike (which is just TPU) and the inside is Boost, but less of it. So really the reduction in weight is actually attributed to less Boost and not some sort of actual new Boost material. This is shrinkflation, but in the sneaker market!

Is Ultraboost 1.0 the exact sizing with X_plrboost, Sir?
I'm flat-footed. 7 UK in Ultraboost 1.0. I would like to know what size fits me the best for X_plrboost. Thank you in advance. :)

This shoes is for running that's why the boost is harder compared to other UBs. It's less comfortable when jogging or walking but it's better for running. And because you havenot tried running in them, that's why ...

@@dreamhack1978 Yeah I know there made to be better for running but I don't feel as strong of energy return feeling with them either when I have done short runs in them they are more comfortable with the insole in though now I normally found that without the insole that my other ultraboost pairs was more comfortable but this seems like the opposite they don't feel much lighter though even compared to heavier cold rdy so now I've put the insole back there much nicer and more of a sidegrade than a downgrade to my old shoes

just got a pair of ultraboost 22's today and i gotta say they're not as comfortable as the ultraboost I had bought initially back in 2015. I remember it being more plush and bouncy, now it feels very firm and stiff. Also compared to Acer's nimbus 25, it blows adidas's ultraboost out the water in terms of comfort.

I’m going to have to check these out at a local store. I wouldn’t use these for running as I prefer more planted stable footwear, but lifestyle shoes are where I rock ultraboost sneakers. I actually use Nikes for running they just fit me better when running more fitted.

2:10 that's not true. Every single boost sneaker has a different boost hardness and composition. There are many tests around youtube comparing them. Being yeezys most of the time the softest.

How does this compare to the Pegasus 40? I am not a runner I just want a shoe that I can do pretty much anything in. I am looking for a shoe mainly to run on almost any terrain and to weight lift. I am in between these and the peg 40s so if someone could lmk which u think would be better for that, or if u have another shoe that u think I’d like, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I've got the Pegasus 39, Infinity Run 3, Zoomx invincible 3, Then switched to Ultraboost 1.0, 5.0 DNA, 22 and light. Pegasus was a jack of all trade beater shoe, infinity run 3 least comfortable, Zoomx invincible 3 most comfortable but I really hate the aesthetic, all the Ultraboosts to me just perfect comfort and aesthetic 👌 (Zoomx slightly more comfortable but fugly)
