400mm f2.8 on an apsc turns into a 600mm f4 for depth of field. The light transmission stays at 2.8 but not the depth of field...
Wouldn't the aps-c turn your 400mm into a 600mm and not a 560mm?
Correct. The crop factor is 1.5-ish in most systems.
You are correct. I was using the math for a 1.4x teleconverter instead of the 1.5x APS-C crop mode. Too many numbers to keep track of!
